About Pierangelo Beata

I was born in 1970, I graduated as a surveyor and later I worked as a interior design. When my family bought this property I've been interested to receive tourist activities and in 2010 I moved here to follow only this activity and the production of organic extra virgin olive oil

Pierangelo Beata purchased this villa in 1994

Why Pierangelo Beata chose Siena Province

Because this property? Come on, look at this and you'll understand 'why'!

The first time we saw the House, despite having been abandoned for nearly 20 years, the roof collapsed, and within some sheep that had sought shelter for the night, we thought it was in the past: already in 1300's official documents, and what could be again. Its location is ideal, away from the noise, but close to the village of Radicondoli. Visible but reserved to ... So, for us it was perfect, what we were looking for!

What makes this villa unique

Live in this corner of Tuscany, brings people back in time ... the calm and tranquillity that give the landscape and large secular oak, along with the sunsets almost always pink or orange-colored, bring joy: are food for the spirit. After a day at the pool or exploring a city or a village, a nice evening on the terrace among friends is ideal. Whoever wants to can also exit: at evening, from June to September in Radicondoli there are numerous art events, theatre, music and food, and in day you can do many physical activities or cooking classes, or massage...

Delightful villa in the heart of Tuscany
average rating of 4.875 based on 24 reviews

We had an amazing time at Villa Le Bolli! My husband and I got married there, and It was perfect.

  • 4 of 5

Sara was incredibly helpful and always available. We really appreciated her kindness and all of our guests left happy. Apart from a few surprise costs (you have to pay for your own air conditioning, toilet paper, dish soap, pool towels, etc.), things ran smoothly. A couple things (lights, a sink) were broken and weren't fixed until after a few days, but this didn't spoil our overall experience. We would come back and it was an awesome experience.

This place was truly paradise under the Tuscan sun! We visited Le Bolli June 24th - July 1st, 2017. When we pulled up to the place we were blown away. It met all of our expectations and then some! It was very spacious, clean and the outdoor area was absolutely gorgeous! We went with a group of about 20 people, including 8 kids all 4 and under. I will say, the pool was a lifesaver for the kids. They spent the majority of their days swimming and running through the olive groves.

The rooms were nice and well kept. Each room had its own air conditioning unit, but I will say we were a bit surprised by the extra charge of 12 Euro per day per room to use it. However, it was a must, as Tuscany this time of year is very warm. The kitchen was huge and included a professional stove, dishwasher, etc. We were able to do a cooking class with the hosts there and it was absolutely incredible. The meals they prepared were divine! I would highly recommend spending the extra money to have them prepare at least one dinner for you.

The place was idyllic and had everything we needed. The hosts were absolutely incredible. We dealt mostly with Sara, and she was truly amazing! She provided answers to all of our questions during and well in advance of our stay. We emailed her multiple times prior to arriving and her responses were consistently prompt and very informative. She was absolutely lovely.

The town is about a 5 minute drive from the property. It is very small, but they do have a local market. You have to be cognizant of siesta time and note most places don't even open til noon. I would recommend any major grocery trips be done near Siena or on the way into town. Also, you should make reservations for dinner/ lunch in advance to ensure they are open/ working that day.

Most major towns or touristy locations were approx. an hour's drive. We were able to visit Siena, San Gimignano, and the Chianti region for a wine tour. Florence was only about an hour's drive as well.

We absolutely loved our stay and definitely want to plan a return visit there one day! This place helped make our visit truly unforgettable and we are so very grateful that we found it! We want to thank our hosts for making this such an incredible experience!

We couldn't have asked for more. Came here with a group of 14 friends - the property is stunning and has amazing views, great pool, lovely outdoor terraces to dine out each night. All the bedrooms were large and comfortable, all with their own bathrooms, and the professional kitchen was great for preparing large meals for us all. The hosts were friendly and helpful and extremely responsive right from first enquiring about it through to checkout - we booked a catered meal on our last night too which was delicious and highly recommended. Set in such beautiful scenery, would recommend to anyone wanting a countryside Tuscan break. It even has a friendly cat!

Perfect and Incredible!

  • 5 of 5

We hosted our wedding at Villa Le Bolli and all of our wedding party stayed there for a week (22 people total). It was an absolutely perfect setting and the trip of a lifetime. The rooms are beautiful and authentic, each with its own bathroom. The commercial-grade kitchen had everything we needed and more to store food for the week and prepare our own meals. Pierangelo, Teresa, and Sara were so kind and helpful. We planned the wedding entirely by email and everything came together just right. They booked our DJ and caterers for the reception (I didn't use a florist but they had one available). They set up dinner reservations for us in Radicondoli at La Pergola, a restaurant with an unbeatable view of the Tuscan countryside. We will definitely be returning to Le Bolli in the future and they are welcome to visit us anytime in America. I simply cannot give enough praise to this gem of a place and our hosts. Grazie Mille per tutti!!!

Amazing place, perfect for family reunions.

We stayed for a week, and will remember it for a lifetime; the beautiful sunsets from the terrace while having dinner, the cool lunches under the huge oak tree in the garden, the children playing in the pool, competing at ping pong or playing hide and seek. The rooms are well proportioned with great views or terraces in all directions. The kitchen is well suited for large group catering and was fun to use. Alternatively catering can be arranged and that was delicious too. Piereangelo and Sarah were very friedly and helpful and made us feel very much at home.

Beautiful and Large Villa in Tuscany

  • 4 of 5

Our group filled the villa to capacity (24) for a week. All of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms and each is different from the others. The grounds with its olive groves and gardens are beautiful. Location is rather central to Tuscany, but surprisingly remote from the bigger cities of interest. So, count on doing a lot of driving if you want to see Tuscany from this base. Radicondoli is a delightful nearby town and you will find much of what you need in terms of supplies there. Overall, we were very satisfied with the property and it was perfect for our group.

I have only three minor suggestions for improvements. First, the lack of good cutlery made our task of cooking less convenient than necessary. Solution: invest in 200 Euros worth of Henkels or other cutlery so that the chefs can do their thing. Second, the one American style drip coffee maker was a plastic piece of junk, and the manual espresso pots and one French press were inadequate for our large group. Solution: invest 200 Euros in a decent coffee maker. Everyone likes their coffee, don't make it that hard to get it. Third, the security gate at the entrance to the property was not automatic for departures from the property. You have to drive up and then get out of your car to find the post that has the button to push and then get back in your car. Is it really that expensive to put in an automatic gate opener that operates automatically when a car drives up? Just do it.

Owner's Response: Thanks Will for your review. The central position of Villa LeBolli allows you to reach very well cities such as Siena (35km and about 35min) and Florence (60km and about 55/60min to piazzale Michelangelo) and like San Gimignano, Volterra, Monteriggioni, Colle Val d'Elsa and the Chianti area and the valley of the "Crete Senesi" (all Max 45 mins drive among the beautiful Tuscan hills) or even getting to the sea in Follonica in less than an hour, while it is a bit more inconvenient to arrive in Arezzo or Lucca, which are more decentralized respectively in the South and North of tuscany and they need about 90 minutes by car using highways or freeways and a further 15 min to get to Pisa. I respect your opinion about the cutlery (I will buy another this year too) and coffee makers and I'm sorry if you have not been able to enjoy good coffee but so far we've always hosted groups of over 20 people (up to 34 guests) and everyone has always been able to use the supplied coffee makers which are: 4 moka for espresso coffee (1 of 2/4 cups, 2 of 6/12 cups, 1 of 12/24 cups) and an American coffee maker for 10 cups, plus in the warehouse we have doubles of all in case somebody did not work and if you or someone in your group asked them I would gladly provide those; the problem with the American coffee pot was that you did not realize that the filter lever was closed and did not pass water and until Friday you did not tell Sara, that he was present every day, and could fix this incident in a moment as he showed you Friday night. I'm sorry for this communication problem as well as for the gate because in addition to the button to exit (just lower the car window and press the green button on the pedestal 5 meters from the gate) and the keyboard with the numeric code located on the pillar of the gate to enter (unfortunately you have to get off the car, take 3/4 steps and type code), we also provide 1 remote control (in the reception of the villa) for those who do not want to get off the car when returning to the villa. Thanks for the suggestions: I will keep them present to improve again. Best regards
