We’ve named this beautiful home “Slice of Sedona”, as it benefits from immediate access to all that Sedona and the area offers. It is remarkable because of its convenient location to everything, yet in a quiet area in west Sedona.

The home is situated just .3 mile from a trailhead to 4 hiking trails, and less than a mile from the nearest grocery. Restaurants, art galleries, microbrewery, fun downtown shops, movie theater, unique stores, spas and services, and bike and jeep rentals are very close. And of course, other hiking/biking trails, red rock formations, and Oak Creek Canyon are just a quick jaunt away.

This home is 12 years old, and has wonderful amenities! 10’ ceilings, granite counter tops, premium appliances, an open floor plan, solid knotty-pine doors, great artwork, and spacious rooms await you. Almost all of the furnishings were installed late 2014. The neighborhood is very quiet.

The master suite encompasses the entire upstairs and features a gorgeous King bed with memory foam mattress, a sitting area with views, and a TV. The accompanying master bath has 2 granite-topped vanities, whirlpool tub with a window overlooking red rock views, a walk-in shower, a separate lavatory room, and a walk-in closet. Gorgeous views exist from the bedroom and bath windows. The master bedroom balcony, with seating for 4, offers photographic red rock vistas to the west and north. We love using it to watch the shadows play on the rocks in the evening as the sun sets.

The lower level has a well-appointed and stocked kitchen with gas range, large double sink, spacious pantry, blender, coffee maker, teakettle, Keurig, toaster, and an open island with bar stools for seating. The kitchen opens into the combined living and dining area, with a table for 6-8. The living area sports a 70” TV with cable, Blue-ray DVD player, a sound system that can stream via Bluetooth, and contemporary leather sectional seating. The gas log fireplace is easily lit via electronic ignition. WiFi is included.

The lower bath features a granite vanity top and a wonderfully tiled floor and tub/shower, with a nice storage area for your personal things.

The 2nd bedroom offers a strikingly cool southwest King bed with a plush memory foam mattress as well as a walk-in closet.

Bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds, plus one twin trundle and a roll-away twin for overflow accommodations. It offers a nice view of the back yard and outdoor seating area.

Outside, through the kitchen door, is a deck, surrounded by lush vegetation for privacy, with a pleasing view of an adobe wall inset with a mission style bell (courtesy of the neighbor). A gas grill is just off the deck stairs. Farther into the backyard is an inviting seating area with 6 log-style Adirondack chairs, situated just above a dry creek lined with red rock. It’s a delightful place for an evening gathering, or nighttime viewing of the stars.

The spacious 2 car attached garage, with a garage door opener, makes access to your vehicle easy. It also has plenty of room for any bikes or other ‘toys’ that you may bring with you, or rent nearby.

A generous laundry room features new oversized a washer and dryer.

A Red Rocks parking Pass is provided, so that you don’t have to fuss with paying the $5 daily fee at the numerous trailheads. Also provided is a daypack to carry water and needed items on your hikes.

We are glad to share our modern, southwest style home with new furnishings, a great floor plan, 70” TV, 2 King beds, an upper balcony w/ marvelous red rock views, plus 2 other inviting outdoor seating areas. All of this is only minutes away from numerous trails, shopping, and conveniences to truly make your personal Slice of Sedona a memorable and wonderful experience.

Beautiful and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. 4 adults for a week, we had plenty of space. Area restaurants were plentiful and very good. We also cooked at home and relaxed on the deck. We enjoyed mountain biking, horseback riding, wine tasting, hiking, an ATV trip and a day at the Grand Canyon. Very full, very fun week in a beautiful location!

Great property

  • 5 of 5

Nice home- very roomy, well stocked with everything you need, nice furnishings and appliances. Quiet neighborhood. Backyard is a bit small and backs up to other yards but is quiet and peaceful. Wish it had some views to enjoy outside. The master bath is amazing but fixtures are flecking and looking worn. Not a big deal but detracts from an otherwise well kept up home. Owners were quick to respond to any issues, accommodating and gave helpful local advice.

A wonderful home on a quite street in Sedona - a Great Place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the Slice of Sedona for our family Spring Break 2017. It was our family of 5 plus Grandma and Grandpa. It was great that all 3 kids could sleep in one room (two twin beds plus a trundle bed - so really 3 twins) our parents in the other and then the entire upper level master suite for my wife and I. The place is very spacious, furniture is great, beds sleep well, good part of West Sedona with shops and stores close, plus easy access to 89A. It is about 8 minutes from down town with all its shops and places to visit, yet West Sedona has more of the main essentials like Safeway, Wholefoods and many restaurants. The large screen TV and comfortable sofa was a great place for the entire family to cozy up and watch a movie - I think it is a 70" tv - really big. The owners (Tim & Kenna) were great! Any questions that came up (which always happens when staying anywhere new) they would get them answered right away. The views of Sedona in general are great - right out the front window or from the driveway are a couple of great ones. Just to note - if you are hikers make sure to go North of town up to West Fork - one of the best hikes in the nation - it was awesome. We have rented many places on either VRBO or HomeAway and I have to say this is at the top of the list - everyone loved it. I would highly recommend to stay at the Slice of Sedona!

Impressed, clean, felt like home.

Great Place!! Not sure how to even describe it, seriously just felt like home away from home. The owners of the property took my family in on a extremely short notice after we had a bad rental experience in a adjacent town and were searching for another place. Everything came together within minutes and had direct contact and instruction with the homeowner. The house was decorated very nicely and felt inviting, it also lacked nothing as far as everyday items (besides food of course). Again it felt like I was home. My wife and I take pride in being homeowners and we own a construction company, so you can say we are a bit of critics, and there was not one thing wrong with this house it has everything and is well taken care of. Our two year old daughter was also with us and there was no issues, she loved being outside exploring the property and enjoyed the large spacious main floor. The master suite upstairs is awesome, its my dream to build a home for my family and incorporate that into the design, so that was nice to experience that own "personal" space with seating. Homeowners are very knowledgeable of the area and were helpful with everything. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone heading into Sedona. Also the Red Rock pass included was a cool added bonus. The only downside is never enough time to take it all in. I recommend an extended stay for anyone in this area, Sedona is beautiful as well as the state of AZ (hope to live there one day). Thanks again the owners, I will definitely save their info for future travel to this area.

Superb home away from home

  • 5 of 5

A group of us attending a conference stayed at this immaculate and beautiful home in Sedona. We were all extremely comfortable with plenty of space available, and a lovely open plan living room, kitchen and dining area to share. The neighbourhood is very tranquil yet close to shops, trails and uptown Sedona. The house itself is pristine with everything you could need. Central airconditioning keeps the house at a lovely temperature during the summer months. Each of the bedrooms are spacious and the beds are all very comfortable. The home owners have collated brochures and local passes to make your stay easy to plan. Communication was speedy and nothing was too much trouble. I am very grateful to have stayed in this beautiful home and for such an easy rental process. I look forward to visiting again with my family.
