Very Nice Unit Right On the Shore

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is very comfortable, nicely fitted out, and very close to the garage. The best part is the proximity to the beach! The sound of the waves made for a great night's sleep, and the stairs to the beach are right next to the unit. There is no direct view of the beach from the unit, because of the berm at the edge of the bluff, so I didn't spend much time on the deck. But the proximity to the stairs made it super easy to get a beach walk in each day. The management company was very helpful. They also loaned out beach necessities, like chairs and umbrellas.

You do hear gate noise which you get used too. Bath showerhead needs adjustment. This is tennis only so no pickle ball. Very close to Delmar, walking distance. Our stay was wonderful, highly recommend this one bedroom and Stubbs Real Estate.

Amazing Location - Clean, Comfortable & Quiet

Place was clean, bed was cozy and location was perfect: steps from the stairs down to the beach. Listen to the waves crashing day and night - paradise. Will definitely stay again!

Great spot

If you’re looking for a nice 1 bed spot right next to the beach this is a great option! It’s literally on the steps going down to the beach and within a 5-10 minute walk to some great restaurants and fun bars

We would rent here again. We loved the location, right at the top of the cliff overlooking the ocean. Twenty steps to the staircase down to the beach. Beautiful sunsets right outside the front door!

Perfect Condo for 2 on Solana Beach

Loved this condo! Close to the stairs down to the beach so easy to carry beach chairs, boogie boards , etc! Kitchen had everything we needed and living area was big enough when our kids visited. Comfortable bed and tvs were easy to use. Property Management was great! We will be back!!

Hooray, it’s the ocean!!!!!

Hard to find that at night when you’re first getting there so should probably arrive during the day. The location is really excellent close to things and it’s worth the effort to stay there. Can’t see the ocean directly from your unit because there’s a berm in front of it that’s OK you just walk outside and you’ve got the entire Pacific Ocean in front of you. Great stay, thank you.

Great three week vacation!

Excellent condo, ground floor, overlooking the ocean, very close to stair access to ocean. The property needs to remove the carpeting in the hallway and bedroom which was filthy. The property needs better outside patio furniture.

Amazing location - excellent manager, but needs renovation

Cant beat this location. Stubbs property management was FANTASTIC! Excellent customer service, especially the fellow from New York - sorry can't remember his name. Check-in/out was great. The unit is on the ground floor, so only a peek ocean view when inside the unit, but once you step outside its phenomenal. The unit itself needs a lot of renovation and is very dated. But if you can look past that, it was a great deal! Very clean and everything I needed,

Reviewer Comments: We had originally chosen another unit in Del Mar, but a month or so before our arrival, Stubbs cancelled that reservation, and offered this unit in Solana Beach for the same price. We were appalled at first,but this apartment was located by the ocean, even though it had only one bedroom instead of two, and i + bathroom instead of two full bathrooms. The original apartment was also bigger and updated. The apartment my husband were switched for one week at the end of July 2022 is old and not renovated, but the location is great. It has a beautiful front ocean view, with direct access to the beach via a long series of ramps. There is no air conditioning, however, so during the day it gets very warm. In the afternoon and at night by opening the sliding doors (old and clunky), a cooling breeze brought down the indoor temperature. We had problems with the garbage disposal, which broke, a low water pressure and unstable temperature control in the shower, leaking faucets in the bathroom, very old and rusty kitchen equipment, and a dim light in the living room. Also the washer and dryer are very old. The patio at the entrance needs some attention as well. The management was very good at fixing things promptly, and in general they were very kind and professional. But of course the question is whether one wants to deal with being on the phone with the management to fix broken parts while on vacation and paying very good money for it. We wasted our time, to say the least. All in all, our stay was pleasant, particularly as I said in terms of the unit's location. I would say, in closing, that it would be great if it were updated in order to be more comfortable and meet the current standards and expectations in line with the considerable rent and fees paid. I would also say that being switched to a different unit caused some problems since we had planned to have our son visit, and it would have had his own bedroom and full bathroom had we stayed in the apartment we had picked.

A new delightful discovery in the San Diego area

It was very dark with a strong sewer smell. The patio area has lots of potential, update the furniture, maybe have a shovel on hand for all the sand.we loved the proximity to the beach, ocean, restaurants, shops and walking paths! The management dealt with all the issues as they came up.they came immediately and were helpful!
