This quiet, art-filled, sky-lit, 1950 square foot home-away-from-home is a 'green' home; organic bedding, all-natural cleaning methods and yard. We have designed your stay for the 3 most important qualities: quiet, comfort and, meticulously clean. Our home is close to everything in the area. Located just 10 minutes from Evergreen State College, 10 minutes to downtown Olympia, the Capital Mall and to Highway 101 and I-5. this very comfortable home provides you with everything you might need, and more to make your stay relaxing and satisfying. The house sleeps up to 6 people at the fee of 179. per night. A maximum of 8 guests can be accommodated at an additional fee. Please inquire. We take pride in providing several types of pillows; memory foam, feather, hypoallergenic, small neck pillows.. along with several styles of beds to accommodate your comfort.

Whether you are in town for business, or an Evergreen Graduation or to explore the natural beauty of the region, our home is an ideal base for all your needs.

The large fenced yard and large two level deck with a gas grill borders a green belt of evergreen trees for private meals outside under the umbrella.

The open kitchen with large picture windows features a 6-burner stove, granite counters with high backed chairs for eating, offering a relaxed option to the formal sit down glass dining room table in the living room. The kitchen is equipped with whatever you need to create a meal-simple or complex, including specialty items like a blender, coffee grinder and more. Purified drinking water via reverse osmosis is provided along with a spice cabinet.

The salon offers wood floors, a large screen “smart TV”, (with Cable TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Comfortable couches, chairs and tray tables. An adobe-colored clay (non-working) fireplace is a center piece in the room.

The Travertine-tiled dining room has a glass dining table with chairs for 6 people and the living room invites relaxation with stuffed couches and a tiger-wood piano with views of the trees and garden.

There are three private bedrooms, one with a king- size Tempurpedic mattress, and a newly remodeled adjoining bathroom with granite sink and fully tiled shower. The 2nd bedroom has a very high quality pillow-top queen sized bed covered with comforters and organic cotton blankets. The room is filled with art and antique armoires. The 3rd bedroom-office has a 14 inch Nova form memory foam queen mattress, set lower to the ground to provide safety for children and infants or for adults. An optional queen size sofa bed with a luxe memory foam mattress is located in the living room. Organic sheets, comforters and cotton /wool blankets ensure comfort and a cozy sleep. Only green, non-toxic cleaning substances are used inside and out, ensuring a healthy stay for all.

High speed WIFI ensures quick communication.

A few minutes of walking outside the house brings you to a path and and small forest walking loop or you can drive 10 minutes to the Evergreen walking paths or shopping at the food COOP.

Special amenities include a Jacuzzi bath, a piano, infant /toddler crib, seats and toys.

We are two professors who divide our time between our homes in Olympia and Puerto Vallarta. We travel a great deal and are very fussy about our lodging and thus have designed our own homes with the same kind of comfort we want and thus share with our fellow travelers in mind.

This is an ideal location for work or play; quiet, residential and set amidst the green belt, yet accessible to everywhere in Olympia within 10 minutes. Walk out the door and within 5 minutes there's an easy forest walk around a quick loop or dash to the local coffee shop for a locally-brewed espresso. Day trips to the shore or mountains are easy with entry 10 minutes away to I-5 or HWY 101.

What makes this house unique

It is meticulously clean and well stocked, lots of light, folk art, organic sheets and cotton/feather bedding on top- of- the- line mattresses and only non toxic cleaning inside and out. Gourmet kitchen with spices and oils and outside gas grill on a large deck makes this a comfy home- away- from- home.

Beautiful and Comfortable

We had a wonderful stay. The house was situated in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, very close to the center of Olympia. We had everything we needed to feel at home and more. Our beds were so comfortable and I slept better than I do at home! Leslie contacted me several times to make sure we had all questions answered. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location

Very nice well equipped home located in central Olympia in a nice quiet neighborhood. Location is close to Capital Mall and near many shops and restaurants. Location in close to 101 Hwy exit.

Cedar Bow House was a greatLocation for our extended stay. It is close to amenities and spacious.

We had a great extended stay at Cedar Bow House. The kitchen was well appointed, which made cooking for our family very easy. The house has nice flow so we had plenty of room for family time as well as quiet time. The yard is private and serene. We would definitely reserve this property again for an extended stay.

Very nice

It was a short stay, 3 1/2 days and the home had everything we needed. There was a nice patio out back under the canopy of the tall cedars. The Kitchen/Family room is where we mostly socialized and was comfortable. The bed in the Master Bedroom was like sleeping on a cloud.

Nice house in a nice neighborhood

The house is in a very nice area where we felt very safe and comfortable. The yard was lovely. The paint colors made the house feel a little dark. We were a family of five and the house fit us perfectly. If I could give 4 1/2 stars, I would.

Warm, artful, feels like home.

This home is in a quiet, tree-shaded neighborhood. The living room and family room/kitchen are made for relaxing, chatting, laughing,or just not doing anything. There is a pleasant back deck in the shade. The furnishings and artwork throughout are lovely, and imply trust that the renters will appreciate them as much as the owners. It just feels like home. Did I mention the piano? Shopping and restaurants are close by. The location was ideal for a reunion of 4 siblings and 2 in-laws in their 70s (three couples were at the house, one lives locally.)
