Peaceful - Beach Side Studio Cottage with Beach Access

Relax and unwind.

The Beautiful Pickering studio apartment features a newly renovated bathroom, full kitchen, and beach views. Located on the water of Eld Inlet in a quiet forested area, within easy driving distance of Downtown Olympia and multiple National and State Parks. A cozy retreat!

Book the main house next door as well for additional sleeping space, large living areas, water-facing deck, and hot tub! Check out VRBO listing #640021.

This lovely studio cottage is 200 square feet with a fully stocked kitchen, a renovated bathroom with tiled shower, and a queen bed. Dining area is appropriate for remote work, with two chairs. Located near the water, with beach access. From the dining table there are lovely views of Puget Sound & Mount Rainier. Adjacent patio and chairs.

Complimentary wifi & cable TV.

Complimentary beach access, parking, and laundry in neighboring garage.

Driveway, laundry, kayaks, and beach access are shared with the main house on the property that is usually occupied. There is plenty of room and space for all the enjoy the peace and quiet!

The mild winters and warm summers offer a perfect place for a relaxing getaway.

Kayaks available to rent for a nominal fee with advance notice, when available.
RV parking available at the top of the driveway upon request.
Boat rides on the bay are available to book upon request at $100/hour, weather and schedule dependent. Please message host if you'd like to book a power boat tour.
Massages are available upon request. These need to be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.

There are two residences on this property. There is a main house and this studio. The beach access is shared between the two guests.

We love our special retreat and hope you will too! We expect all guests to treat the property, neighbors, and guests at nearby rentals with respect. When we receive your booking request, we'll send out a rental agreement. Here are the basics of what you can expect:
Check in is after 4pm on arrival day; check out is by 11am on departure day. No late checkouts unless otherwise arranged
Use of wifi, cable tv, utilities, sheets & towels, kitchen equipment, board games is included with your stay
Beach access is shared with others on the property
Kayak rentals are subject to a nominal fee for use during the entirety of your stay
No smoking
No pets
No damage to house, furniture, or amenities
No additional guests, unless otherwise arranged

We had a lovely stay at this cottage! Beautiful views and just a quick walk to the beach which I highly recommend taking advantage of. Kitchen is of course on the smaller side so I wouldn’t recommend any super intense cooking like we attempted, but other than that it was just perfect for the weekend we had planned. Host was super friendly and accommodating as well. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Great getaway place

Beautiful, clean place right on the sound. Kayaks available for seeing some awesome wildlife. We saw Bald Eagles, Harbor Seals and many other animals. Highly recommend this quaint little cottage.

Very peaceful and quiet. We could hear the waves splashing the shore at night. Beautiful setting. The fire pit right on the water was so relaxing. Cabin was very clean and well stocked with all necessities. The owners were super friendly and really accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!
