We had a great time
Bryan responded quickly and really cared about his property. Kayaking was awesome and we just walked our kayaks across the road. Beautiful time of year and good fishing. Had the dishes we needed and coffee and even spices I forgot to bring. Gas and charcoal grills. Bed was very comfortable and good pillows and linens. Spent a lot of time on the porch swing. I brought my roku, but there already was one there. Dogs were welcome and comfortable. Not sure why more people aren't up there for the fall colors. Will be back.
Darling cabin with lots of thoughtful touches. Easy river access and friendly property mgr. Thx!
Loved it - will be back!
Wonderful cabin right on the river!
We loved our stay and appreciated Brian's hospitality! Our very favorite part was taking a canoe out on the Guadalupe River-- this place has canoes, kayaks, and a rope swing. It was absolutely beautiful and peaceful to get out on the water and see all of the trees on the banks. The cabin had everything we needed. Thank you, Brian!
Cute little cabin across the street from the river
Even with the almost constant rain, our weekend was amazing! We enjoyed exploring Kerrville, the river, and the Twisted Sisters when the rain cleared a bit. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend away.
The cabin was small, but clean and cozy. Beautiful setting!
Charming, clean, step back in time
My husband, daughter & I loved staying here. We all loved how Brian has embraced the retro vibe of the cabin’s early days. Though cozy it was perfect for daytime naps. We spent a lot of down time sitting on the porch, digging for worms in the lawn (great shade trees) and across at the river swimming and kayaking. Brian was super attentive, welcoming & obviously enjoys and takes pride in his property. We will be back every year for our kids summer camp pick-ups.
