Stayed with a group of friends and our combined six children. House is plenty big, nice outdoor space including a fire pit, hammock, and kids play area. The property manager Sue was very helpful in getting us settled in. Drive down to the house from the main road a bit treacherous, but offers amazing views of the red mountains. Would definitely stay here again.
From start to finish, renting this incredible custom home was a dream. The owner bent over backwards to accommodate our desire to host our daughter's wedding on this spectacular and private property. We were able to give our daughter the wedding of her dreams! We housed our entire family, hosted wedding events for 3 days (rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception, Sunday champagne brunch) and our guests were impressed, relaxed, and thoroughly enjoyed the house and grounds. Everything from star gazing on the decks to an outdoor firepit for S'Mores is available. The gourmet kitchen worked for our catering needs and everything was available that we needed. We were even able to bring the groom's dog so he could be in the wedding ceremony! The house manager (Sue) was a delight to work with. If you want a small (50 guest) wedding or family reunion, this is your ticket. I was able to rent a dance floor, tables, and outdoor lighting to create a storybook and spectacular wedding. I would book this lovely home again just to have all our family together in one place. It was the most wonderful experience ever! Thank you Alyssa and Sue!
We just rented the house for 6 guys on a mountain biking trip. The house was the perfect size for our group. We each had our own bed but if we had any more people then the blow up mattresses would have to be used. We took advantage of the fire pit down by the river but didn't jump in the water. The mountain biking in Sedona is great. We rode all over but the Twin Buttes trail was probably our favorite. If there was a jacuzzi at house then we might never have left once we finished our ride. I recommend this house and Sedona in general for anyone else that is looking for a mountain biking destination. Just be prepared for bike repairs due to the Sedona trails. Hope to be here again next year!
We had our family reunion in Casa de la Luna over the weekend and this home was everything we could have asked for and more. The house is spacious and we had no problem fitting 8 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 toddlers. The space offered plenty of privacy as well as shared spaces for all of us to hang out together.
The property itself is HUGE - the yard has lost of room to run around in and also has a small playground which the kids took full advantage of. Behind the house is the creek which is beautiful, offering a really relaxing setting. The location is the best part. Every time we left the house and came back, we got to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Sedona Red Rock country. I am looking forward to our next reunion.
Our family gathered at Casa de la Luna the week of April 24-30 to prepare for our daughter's wedding on the 28th. We were looking for a home that would accommodate up to 11 family members while at the same time giving us space and flexibility. Casa de la Luna delivered everything we had hoped for and more. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep, room to explore, cycling & walking trails within easy access, creek play, cooking outside on an open fire pit, everything you need to cook up large breakfasts & dinners, and most of all an environment to relax and thoroughly enjoy each other. The views driving to the house are truly amazing! You are completely surrounded by the beautiful visitas of Sedona but away from the hub-bub of tourist activity. We live in the country so it was exactly what we are used to except you are in Sedona - a magical place. Because of the professional kitchen set-up we were easily able to feed and entertain visiting family and friends as they continued to arrive throughout the week. Everyone who visited us at Casa de la Luna asked how we found this wonderful home and were quite impressed with both the home and its surroundings. I can't thank Alyssa and her family enough for sharing their beautiful home with us for this very special moment in our family's adventure called LIFE!
We stayed a week in this beautiful home on Oak Creek close to Cathedral Rock. Very beautiful and peaceful location. It was ten minutes into Sedona and highway 89 but felt like our own little peace of Sedona heaven. Gourmet kitchen, laundry on site, comfy beds, fenced yard for our dog, great showers, lovely decks to sun on. Great place to stay. Highly recommend! Owners were very nice to work with!
Casa De La Luna is located in a very private valley with incredible hiking, swimming holes and ancient Native American petroglyphs. From a birds eye the home is less than 1/4 mile from Red Rock Crossing State Park-the most photographed area of Sedona.
