About this property

A modern 3 bedroom home with private pool located in a secure complex.

The villa is situated in a secure small residential complex located a short walk or drive from the beach and amenities in the area. The spacious lounge/dining area offers a large amount of natural lighting and the sliding doors lead out onto a private garden and pool area and a separate balcony with mountain views.
The pool area comes complete with sun loungers, a seating area and a Weber braii.
The open-planned lounge/dining room offers a fireplace, three sofas, a dining table complete with seating for eight people and a flat-screen TV with DSTV.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fitted oven/hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and refrigerator.
There are three bedrooms each furnished. The master bedroom has a walk in wardrobe and is an en-suite complete with toilet, sink, bath and shower. The second & third bedroom are located downstairs. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has two single beds.
Aswell as the two bedrooms downstairs there is also a bathroom complete with toilet, sink, bath and shower and next to the bathroom is the laundry room which consists of a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Wifi is available
There is parking for two vehicles inside the complex, one can be parked on the driveway of the house and the other in the car parking spaces within the gated complex, access to the garage is not available for guests.

Relaxing Stay

The property was great. The pool was clean. It came with a small washer and dryer to do laundry. They provided plenty of pool and big bath towels. There is no AC in the property so the upstairs gets pretty hot. You will have to open all windows and doors to cool the place down. Everything is upstairs except for the 2 smaller bedrooms, bathroom, and laundry area.The area appeared safe. It was extremely quiet, and you have 3 grocery stores and a few restaurants within walking distance. The beach is beautiful and walkable as well. I wish we didn't have to leave. Megan, the property manager, was amazing. She made sure we had a few beverages in the home prior to our arrival and was extremely accommodating for check-in and check-out.

An ideal property in beautiful Hout Bay

The property Is in an excellent position and has a lot to offer BUT it needs a lot of TLC The patio door is unsafe as it frequently comes off its runners when opened which could prove a major problem .Also the upstairs bedroom windows were very difficult to open causing the bedroom to be like an oven at night time. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable holiday.

Excellent location, short walk to numerous bars/restaurants and beach. Property a little tired, probably needs a new downstairs bathroom and new kitchen units but otherwise ideal.
