Attention to detail has been given to every aspect of our place. We have created a home with Four Seasons appeal. Guest robes, lighting, furnishings, sundries, stemware, you name it, we tried to think of everything.
Cozy home with very comfy bed en nice bay window to enjoy coffee and breakfast overlooking the cute facades along the street. Had many nice walks through pretty streets to neighborhood parks. So nice to be able to bring the doggies!
The space was attractive, clean, and with many nice design features. It was quiet and safe. The only quirk is that you must pass through a narrow hallway from the kitchen to get to the bathroom. But the bathroom is private and we never ran into anyone on the way to the bathroom. It was a non-issue. Highly recommend.
This reasonably priced apartment is well kept up with electric heaters in the bedroom area and bathroom. The bedroom area has a comfortable bed, though it is a hideaway. The bedroom area is between a small kitchen with everything that is needed to prepare a nice breakfast and a living room with a bay window, but with uncomfortable places to sit. The biggest drawback inside the apartment is the location of the bathroom, which is across an unheated common hallway down from a common entry door. It seems to be shareable, though no one else appeared to use it during our one week stay. The bathroom itself is very nice with a great shower.
The location is also very good, not only close to Golden Gate Park but also close to lots of shops in the Haight, public transportation and even a Whole Foods a few blocks away. However, anyone who has visited San Francisco knows of the sad problem of the homeless and the problem is unfortunately quite prevalent in this area.
The Wildbergers (CML and Tina) provided us, via email and on one occasion land mail, with all the information we needed and were very prompt in responding to our needs. Even with the drawbacks noted, my wife and I had overall a very good experience staying in the apartment and would stay here again when coming back to San Francisco.
We slept well and the bed was very comfortable. Nice street view. TV worked fine. A Great location with easy route access to Cole Valley merchants, Haight Street merchants, restaurants, and close to Golden Gate Park. Only two blocks from the MUNI Train and buses. We especially enjoyed The Reverie for breakfasts. We had a quality dining experience at Bambino's Italian Restaurant. We walked on Haight Street and rode the bus to access points in Golden Gate Park. We visited the Japanese Garden & DeYoung Art Museum and we walked in the Park. We rode the MUNI Train to AT&T Park and again to the Embarcadero & Fisherman's Warf. A fun and enjoyable stay!
Tina's place was exactly what we needed. Quiet, clean, comfortable and in a great location. Tina was very responsive to my texts and emails, and overall, our trip was a great experience.
We recently stayed for 9 nights and found the apartment to be an excellent choice. It was very convenient to both Golden Gate Park and public transportation, so getting around was very easy. The apartment itself was lovely. We knew that the bathroom was across the hall, but that turned out to not be an issue at all. The hallway is only used by one other tenant (who does not share the bathroom), so it is almost as if the bathroom were right in the apartment. We also really liked that the front windows faced west, so that in the afternoon, we could sit at the table and enjoy the sun. All in all, we heartily recommend this apartment!
Central location with amenities of all kinds. Dine, cocktail, sight-see, museum-hop, bike ride, shopping, you name it, SF has it at your figure-tips.
