Cabane isolĂ©e sur 200 hectares avec votre propre lac privĂ©. DĂ©tendez-vous sur la grande terrasse avec une vue spectaculaire sur le lac et la forĂȘt Ă  toute heure du jour ou de la nuit. Vous pourrez pĂȘcher dans le lac, faire de la randonnĂ©e sur de nombreux kilomĂštres de sentiers, nager ou tout simplement vous dĂ©tendre sur la plage. Le lac est Ă©quipĂ© de chaloupe et de canoĂ«. Dans la soirĂ©e, profitez d'un feu de camp dans le foyer. Parfait pour des vacances en famille ou une escapade romantique. CapacitĂ© d'accueil de six personnes avec un lit escamotable dans la chambre principale: lits superposĂ©s; et un canapĂ©-lit queen dans le salon. Cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec coin repas, 1 1/2 salles de bains, laveuse / sĂ©cheuse, climatisation, wifi, tĂ©lĂ©vision / magnĂ©toscope, terrasse et patio. Lovely secluded cabin with amazing sunrises on the lake. Owner is quick to respond to questions. Cozy and welcoming. Close to Galena but you feel like you are very secluded. Hope to stay again when we are in the area.

Steep private road to beautiful lake view and cabin. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Peaceful and serene. Fish were biting and the paddle boat was fun. It was hot during our stay and A/C only on top floor but the scenery is worth it and the shower is not made for fluffy people.

Amazing stress free retreat. Cabin was wonderful and completely furnished with everything we needed. Loved boating on the beautiful lake and floating through the lily pads. Will definitely come back.

Five years in a row now, and we’re already looking forward to next year. Such a relaxing and tranquil place. My grandson didn’t want to leave, enjoying swimming, fishing, hiking, campfire with s’mores every night. So many stars at night, spotted the ISS, and a few shooting stars.

Amazing!! Peaceful and beautiful!

This is the 3rd time I’ve been here, first with my family. Absolutely love it there! The private lake is amazing and the cabin is just the right size. We all enjoyed the lake and lots of outside activities. Highly recommend for a family or friends getaway!

Great Time

Perfect Getaway

As you descend down the drive you become absorbed into tranquility. You immediately realize that this is your chance to become one with nature. The drive opens to the cabin and pond. You spend your team surrounded by nothing but nature. It was just what we needed and we got some amazing pictures and have some phenomenal memories to take us until our next adventure. Would definitely stay here again.

Lake Get Away

We've stayed here before. Enjoyed the cabin and the beautiful lake. Kids loved swimming and fishing. Property manager was very responsive! Unfortunately, one of our family members had a allergic reaction to something inside the cabin (mold, dust?).

Another great stay

I think this is our fourth year in a row and we are planning on making it five. Word to the wise though, don’t leave your fresh farm stand corn on the picnic table overnight unless you want to make the raccoons happy.

We always have a great time coming here for years! I will say this year it wasn’t very clean and for the second year in a row, no propane was on hand. The property manager did bring some down though, when she brought the toilet paper we were out of as well.

Perfect relaxing cabin by the lake

The best part for us, is the solitude. The feeling of total relaxation. The only sounds, are the sounds of nature! We fished, swam, hiked, had a campfire, s’mores, stargazed (bring binoculars, unbelievable the amount of stars seen, with no light pollution here). The cabin is well furnished with anything you may need, and feels so cozy. We are already looking forward to coming back next year.

Feels like home

We’ve been renting this cabin for years and have stayed more times than I can count. Every time I pull into the drive, it feels like coming home, and I’m sad whenever I have to leave. It is, quite simply, the perfect getaway.

Going to the nothing box

My wife and I needed a weekend to do nothing an just relax .Cabin on the Lake was just that. If we wanted to do something the property had it. If we wanted to go somewhere it was close by. Are choice was to enjoy the lake view on the front deck and go to the nothing box,

Great getaway

Place was truly a getaway. Allowed us to take time to disconnect. WiFi went out for a night but we managed to survive! Loved how secluded the property is.

Amazing!!

This cabin was everything my husband and I were looking for! So quiet and secluded, perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. From the moment we pulled up to the cabin, to the time we left, we were so in love with this place. It is just far enough away to be secluded, but close enough to town for groceries and activities. We enjoyed The General golf course at Eagle Ridge, which was less than 20 minutes away, Fergetaboudit winery which was about 10 minutes away, and Galena. At the cabin we loved fishing, the campfire, hiking around the property, and grilling out on the deck while watching a storm roll in. I highly recommend this cabin and even already booked again for next year :)

Our family went on houseboat vacations cruising the Mississippi river and skiing at Chestnut Mountain Resort when we were growing up. We loved the area so much my parents looked at property to buy in the Galena area. The first piece of property they purchased was in 1966. The cabin was eventually built in 1983.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Our parents built a cabin for guests and family to stay in when they visited. After they passed away, we decided to rent the cabin out 5 months out of the year. We haven enjoyed vacationing there for many years and would like to share it with others.
