Great Location and Host

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I visited Burlington for our honeymoon in early September. We could not have been happier with our accommodations. John and Deb's home is perfectly located just outside the congestion of the city, but has EASY access via Uber, or even better, bicycles. We rented bikes for a couple of days, which made for safe and easy access to Lake Champlain and all that Burlington has to offer. Their home is right on the waterfront bike path and is a 5 minute bike ride into town.

The home is quiet, comfortable and perfect for a week or weekend get-away. They were very welcoming and gave us plenty of space and privacy. The unit is charmingly decorated with all the amenities we needed (including a bottle of wine for a congratulatory gift..THANK YOU!). We loved staying there and we hope to return again!

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place! Clean and well appointed. Had everything we needed including coffee and cream for the morning! It's a bit of a walk to downtown (a little more than a mile) but if the weather is nice, the walk is spectacular along the lake. Highly recommend this place!

perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

We so enjoyed our second visit to this home in the South End. The house is perfectly located for you to park the car and walk/ bike wherever you choose. You are right on the bike path and it takes just a few minutes to cycle into town, maybe 15 mins right up to North Beach. Oakledge park is a 5 minute walk and enjoys wonderful sunsets! The house itself is the perfect base camp, cozy and comfortable with everything you need. We were happy to spend a couple of quiet evenings in after hectic days! Deb and John are very friendly and accessible but will give you space to enjoy your vacation.

Highlights for us: Touring the Champlain Islands / Sailing with the Community Sailing Center.

Thanks for another great visit!
