Kom og bo med os i vores yndig Casita beliggende i en rolig blind vej i det smukke, berømte golfbanesamfund i Torreon. Du vil blive gemt væk fra det hele i de høje fyrretræer, men alligevel være tæt på shopping på kun få minutter.
Pine Cone Casita er så hyggelig. Det har to fulde master-suiter med deres egne badeværelser, og der er en king size sovenummer-seng i hvert af soveværelserne.

Køkkenet er IKKE et komplet køkken. Den har en mikrobølgeovn, Keurig kaffemaskine, brødrister ovn og brødrister, blender til din morgen smoothies, men den har IKKE en komfur / ovn eller køleskab i fuld størrelse. Køleskabet er et køleskab med fuld isstørrelse.

Casita har også sin egen vaskemaskine og tørretumbler, hvis du ønsker at gå hjem med rent tøj, samt en omvendt osmose-filtreret vandtap i køkkenvasken.

Better than…

Usually when you view a property to purchase or to rent the pictures always seem to be better than the property itself well in this case the phots do not do this property justice! Beautiful inside and out! Thank you Julie and Tom

Fabulous Labor Day Weekend Escape

We were two 60+ couples looking to escape the monsoon heat of Tucson; wilted from the 100+ degree temps! Julie & Tom's Pine Cone Casita was the perfect respite. We enjoyed cool days and nites nestled in a lovely Ponerosa Pine forest. We saw squirrels, deer, lizards, jays and an assortment of other critters from the comfy red Adirondack patio chairs. The casita perfectly appointed with everything we could want or need; and the Sleep Number beds were such a treat! Julie the perfect hostess. We are already planning next year's visit!

Great Get-Away

Read the previous reviews as they are accurate and give a good impression of the Pine Cone Casita. Here's some things I want to highlight: 1. This is a beautiful little jewel box - top quality furnishings, fixtures and appliances. Perfect for two couples or just you and your special someone. 2. Do you know how hard it is to find a property with 2 king-sized beds, at any price? And these are Sleep Number beds - very comfortable with adjustable firmness . 3. Lets be clear, you won't be cooking a Thanksgiving turkey here - there is no stove, oven, cook-top or freezer in the kitchenette. Think of it as a really nice wet bar. That said, with the outdoor electric grill, foodies can take the challenge using that, the toaster oven and microwave to whip up a gourmet meal. 4. Julie was great to work with and made sure our week in the Casita was trouble-free.

Wedding Weekend in Torreon

We ventured up north to attend a wedding weekend at Torreon. We found Tom & Julie's Pine Cone Casita through VRBO and it was exactly what we were looking for. We arrived after dark on Friday night and it was very easy to find, even in the dark. Cell phone service (with AT&T) was non existent so we had written our directions down before losing service, which I would recommend. Julie had contacted us to let us know they were having difficulty with the wifi in the casita but all four of us were able to get wifi service throughout the casita... except the couch :) The casita was the perfect size for the 4 of us with two king sized beds and our own en suite bathrooms. The fridge was the perfect size to store some leftovers from our meals at the clubhouse to munch on after the wedding. We spent Saturday morning/afternoon walking around the community in the brisk cool air and relaxing in the red adirondack chairs on the patio. We will definitely be back for another relaxing weekend in the pines! Thank you again Tom & Julie!

Happy Place!

Show Low is the place to be and the casita is where you wanna stay...loved all the services of a little town...Safeway...we ate at The House 8 out of eleven nites...from here the possibilities are endless for fun . We road every road in a 150 mile radius....Meteor crater was a fun day even though admission was steep in my opinion. Loved, loved loved the Petrified Forest NP. Drive down Hiway 60 to see Salt River Canyon. Go to Greer for Lunch and ride and see all those pretty lakes in between. We are tree huggers and love seeing beautiful scenery. Or, you can play golf. Julie and her husband Tom were there while we visited and I loved having them nearby as they were so fun to visit with and have as a local resource for advice and tips. They are so nice. I called him Steve the whole time and he never corrected me. How nice. Plus he is really handsome. Out of all the surrounding communities we visited we are so glad we chose a Show Low and the Casita because once inside the Torreon it's as if you are one hundred miles out in the woods...so nice and quiet in the pines! I did not miss having a stove. I view that as a gift. We love the Keurig and the fridge with a great ice machine cause we packed our lunch everyday for our excursions. Comfy beds ,seating , ceiling fans, good wifi tv even with the SEC channel. My husband could survive there in the fall. This morning we awarded the walk in shower the best in any VRBO we've stayed in. Visit here ...you won't regret it. My new motto is "Its later than you think...."

Comfy Little Cabin

We loved staying at The Pine Cone Casita! It was very clean and very comfortable and we were just minutes away from Torreon Golf Club. Also, for not having a full size refrigerator my husband and I had plenty of room for smoothie ingredients as well as dinner for two nights and snacks! It was perfect! We would definitely stay there again!

Escape in the pines

Inviting casita in the cool pines of Show Low. Warm and welcoming hosts. Very clean. Wonderful having 2 bedrooms each with their own king size bed and separate bathrooms. Planning on making a return visit next year.

Could not have been better!

Julie and Tom were outstanding owners and hosts. Our Cabin was sparkling clean. This was our first visit to the White Mountains, but certainly not our our last.

The Pine Cone Casita is a wonderful little place to come back to at the end of the day!

We loved our two night stay at the Pine Cone Casita. It was so quite all day and night. Surrounded by a forest of Ponderosa Pines, a great place to get away from it all! Not too far from Painted Desert of Petrified National Park. The town of Show Low is a wonderful little town, a must see. The Cattleman's Restaurant is a great place to go for dinner. We had a great time! You won't be disappointed.

Perfect Casita for couples or small family

This was a perfect base for our group of 3 attending a family reunion in the area. We had everything we needed after long days with extended family...comfortable beds, privacy, a beautiful, peaceful setting, with a well stocked kitchenette and bathrooms. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and we would would definitely recommend the Pine Cone Casita.

Recent Stay in July

This was our 2nd time renting this property and it was as awesome as last Fall! Julie and Tom are fantastic hosts. The casita is perfect for 2-3 people. It is well furnished with clean comfortable bedding. All the amenities are top notch.

Wonderful!

The whole experience was fantastic. The casita has everything you would want. It is comfortable, beautifully furnished and so quiet. Loved sleeping with the windows open and watching the new curved screen tv from the reclining sofa in the evening. There is no stove but there is a grill, microwave and toaster oven. Easy to heat up meals or barbecue. Owners, Julie and Tom are available, if needed, and so nice. It really is a beautiful place to stay!

Amazing home away from home!

I miss my Casita! What a fantastic stay we had! It was indeed a home away from home. The Casita was so clean, so comfortable, and so well decorated. It had a great TV coupled with DirectTV service which made watching movies and enjoying locally made Kettle Korn something we looked forward to each evening! Of course we enjoyed a drink and watched the sunset from the front porch before movie time! So quiet and SO MANY stars! The perfect ending to each day! Having two full master bedrooms was so unique and so perfect for us. Sadly the bed was SO comfortable I couldn't wait to go to bed! Seriously! That was the best sleep I have ever had! I have to bug Julie and get the brand of sheets and blankets. It was unbelievable! And don't get me started on the sleep by number bed! Now I need one at home! Julie was amazing! Once she gave us the lovely tour of the Casita and explained where everything was at she pretty much disappeared. I hate it when you rent a place and you feel like you're being watched all the time. Julie wasn't anything like that! But at the same time she made it perfectly clear that she was a phone call away if we needed anything. I could go on and on but I think you get the point. It was 5 star all the way. If I ever get back to Show Low I am staying there again. Thank you for everything Julie!

Cozy casita in the pines

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful casita in the mountains and pines in Show Low. It was very clean, beautifully decorated, and is on quiet cul de sac nestled in tall pine trees. It was a very comfy ‘homey feel’ as opposed to a hotel stay which is exactly what we were wanting as we celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary. The owners, Tom and Julie, were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely consider a return stay at this cozy casita in the pines!
