High end kitchen, bed, linens, location!

  • 5 of 5

Great location, T stop across street, convenient walk to BC, beds were extremely comfortable, high end bed and bath linens, kitchen was fabulous with high end appliances, and vaulted ceiling. Shower had “rain” feature, double head. It is up 4 floors which may be difficult for some guests. The owner is extremely helpful and timely with instructions, directions, suggestions for restaurants, etc. Hope to return!

Beautiful and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We recently spent 3 nights in Greg's loft. The space was perfect for us as we had our daughter with us, visiting our other daughter for the weekend at Boston College. The space is beautiful with all lovely and modern fittings and appliances..really looks just like the photos. Both our daughters walked in and announced they'd like to live there! The furniture and beds and pillows were all very comfy. All was super clean. This condo lacks for nothing, Greg even provides toiletries and kitchen staples such as coffee, spices, oil, etc. and there was an abundance of towels and necessities such as toilet paper, etc. We felt like we were staying in someone's beautiful home and Greg texted us a couple of times to see how we were doing and if we needed anything at all. This building was very quiet, there was street noise which we had read about beforehand and knew to expect but surprisingly it did not bother us..we got used to the sound of the T, and being on the 4th floor helped. The B line stops right outside the door which is convenient for a quick couple of stops up to BC or to downtown direction and Cleveland Circle is around the corner, (C line). Tons of restaurants around, supermarket and drug store close by. This is about a 15 minute walk to the lower BC campus and you can cut through and walk by the reservoir which is very nice. This condo also comes with a parking space across the street but there is also an access road in front of the building in which you can stop to unload passengers and luggage. Overall this was a wonderful experience and stay and we would love to stay again.

Dropping our daughter at BC. The loft is so close to BC and many great restaurants. It made our trip very easy to manage as we could walk to everything. Decor is awesome and everything is clean.

Great location in great neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

Excellent property. Tastefully if not painstakingly decorated. Listing and beautiful pictures are 100% accurate. Owner is truly fantastic to work with. Park your car and never move it while you take the T anywhere and everywhere you want. The Chestnut Hill Ave stop is literally right out front (you can barely hear it unless you are specifically straining your ears for it) and the Cleveland Circle stop is just a short walk away. Actually everything you need is within a short walk. Fuel America just down the street on Chestnut Hill Ave has excellent coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Two stops on the Boston College line and you're in - you guessed it - BC main campus. Two stops on the Cleveland Circle line and you have 3 great bar/restaurants - Barcelona, Belgian Pub and the Abbey. Close to these legit foodie spots is a Star supermarket for cooking in or anything else you need (maybe a Charlie Card for the T) or forgot - although the property is very well stocked. 7-Eleven is also close by for any convenience items. If needed, two window AC units can cool down the living space quickly and efficiently. Master bed is quite comfortable. Living area sectional couch is not formally attached and each section tends to "float" so be careful and check for things that may fall down into the cracks. Bathroom is a bit on the small size but still adequate and large enough to serve its usual purposes. Water hookups are there outside by the bathroom but there are currently no W/D, however a laundromat is less than 1/2 block away in case you accidently packed light. If you are visiting BC in particular or Boston in general, this 4th floor cozy and safe Brighton walk up is just the ticket. Yes folks with mobility issues may have to look elsewhere but otherwise the stairs are not as bad as they sound - speaking from experience, some Philly and NYC walkups are comparatively worse. We hope to return!
