Only 1 1/2 blocks to city park/beach and downtown activities. 3 stories w/ large upstairs bonus room and full basement. Living room, formal dining room, and eat in kitchen. New bamboo hardwood floors, new paint, new all-stainless steel kitchen appliances, walk-in shower on main floor and shower/tub combination with jacuzzi tub in basement. Covered front and enclosed back porch/mud room with gas BBQ grill and patio set for your backyard parties. Danilo & Jo-Dee Gancayco welcome you to our lovely home in beautiful Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Jo-Dee grew up in Coeur d'Alene and after moving to California at the ripe age of 12, vacationed here with family almost every year. After marrying Danilo, he also fell in love with the area and the people and we knew we wanted a home here. In 2010 we purchased this home in the historic Fort Grounds as a vacation home for others to enjoy all that Coeur d'Alene has to offer as much as we do. Many people have referred to the area as "God's Country". If you are fortunate to visit the area, you will understand why. We hope you enjoy are home and beautiful town as much as we do.

A surprisingly roomy, comfortable and entirely updated property that is superbly located.

We rented this property for a family vacation between Christmas and New Year's. It is a very roomy home that has a completely updated interior. There was more than enough room to sleep all eight of us comfortably and two large, modern bathrooms. We also enjoyed the upstairs "bonus" room that has several large couches and a big screen TV. Off street parking is more than adequate. The kitchen is very functional and well-equipped. This property is well located in C d' A close to the beach, the city parks, the bike path as well as N. Idaho College's campus. It would be an excellent choice for rental in any season. It is an easy walk to downtown restaurants and shops as well, weather permitting. We would certainly consider renting this property again when visiting C d' A.

Great Place for Family Thanksgiving!

My family lives in Montana, Washington and Idaho so CDA was a perfect meeting place for our Thanksgiving vacation together. The home was very welcoming, complete with beautiful fall decor. The kitchen was very well equipped and the appliances were outstanding. All of the beds were very comfortable as well. The bonus room upstairs was perfect for watching football and playing board games. The outside porch was appreciated so we had a place for our pups to hang out after they had played outside. We were able to walk to the lake from the house and even play some basketball on the nearby courts. JoDee made herself available by phone for our few questions. I would highly recommend this house for anyone wanting to spend time in CDA!

Beautiful home! Would stay here again in an instant!

My family and I travelled to CDA as I was tackling my first full IronMan. We arrived to Jo-Dee and Danny waiting to greet us and give us a tour of their home - a very nice touch!

Their home was perfect! A block away from IronMan village and transition. Who could ask for anything better for the training days up to the race and race day! It was also perfect for the family on race day as they just had to walk to the race - no fighting for parking. During the race they were able to wander back to the house for lunch and to cool down in the air conditioning.

We had a party of 5 and a pug :) their home was spacious and beautiful! The small touches really set it apart! Two bottles of welcoming wine (enjoyed after the race;), a basket full of healthy goodies, a bag of treats for our dog and a bottle of champagne to celebrate with my race! They had supplies in the pantry (coffee creamer, coffee, salt pepper, etc) that we had full access to, right down to being able to watch Netflix during down time. A spacious backyard was perfect for our dog as well as provided lots of parking and access to their gas grill.

The jacuzzi tub was a blessing after my race!

It truly is the perfect location being within walking distance of the beach, parks and the shops and restaurants down Sherman St. When our stay was over I even received an email congratulating me on my race and the time I finished.

They pay attention to the little details that make a huge difference in ones stay. They are the perfect hosts! My family and I will be back and will most definitely be contacting Jo-Dee to use this home again.

As one of the 'party of 5' (Jaimie's Mom) I can only echo everything Jaimie spoke to above. Jo-Dee and Danny are very gracious hosts and available at a moment's notice through text or phone call. It was a pleasure having the opportunity to meet them upon our arrival.

Their home was spotless when we arrived - we tried to leave it in a similar condition! Certainly within comfortable walking distance of amenities. Not a lot of opportunity to try out the various restaurants since the focus was on healthy eating & early to bed in continued preparation for race day. The one we did eventually try was wonderful - think it was called Un-chained. The listing description was definitely accurate with respect to location, layout, etc.

Family Home in Great Location CDA

We shared a wonderful vacation with our 11 family members at this great home located in the heart of Coeur d' alene. (CDA) Walking distance to restaurants, beach and activities, (Bikes, paddle boards, boats etc...

Clean, loaded kitchen, and a great room suitable for all to sit around and watch the Olympics.

Owners very friendly and there to help with any requests we had (very few).

Exceptionally Well Stocked and Clean

Lovely 5 BR with bonus bunk bedroom! Man cave upstairs was large and comfortable for TV or games. Kitchen had everything you might need and the linen closet and pantry were very well stocked. Plenty of parking, located close a park, beach, downtown and hiking. Definitely recommend for your family vacation!

Absolutely PERFECT

Our family of 6 decided this was one of our favorite vacations and we plan to return! This house was perfect for our busy bunch. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the entire house was updated and beautiful. The owners provided a ton of extras to make the stay more convenient. We really appreciated the coffee and the kitchen being supplied with seasonings, paper plates and every pot, pan or utensil you could ask for. We have an 18 month old and brought our own portable crib and stroller. However the owners had a portable crib and stroller available along with baby gates! The backyard being closed in was great for her to run around especially while we BBQ. The house is perfectly placed across the street from the park so we spent every morning drinking our coffee while the little ones enjoyed the beautiful park! With where this house is located we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Location is always so important to us because we don't want th production of packing up the car to do anything. We LOVED the upstairs loft! It was so comfortable and has a TON of movies to choose from. We plan to rent this house again in the future... We absolutely loved our time there.
