About Terry Fullmer

We all love the Island Park area and love to get together with our children and Grand Children.

Terry Fullmer purchased this lodge in 2015

Why Terry Fullmer chose Idaho

This property is large enough to accommodate most large families and groups. It is perfect for family reunions and corporate retreats.

What makes this lodge unique

Being so close to one of the wonders of the world in Yellowstone National Park is a great plus. The reality is there are so many fun things to do around Island Park such as floating the rivers, fishing, swimming in the lakes, Riding ATV's in the Summer, Spring and Fall and Snowmobiles in the winter. Golfing is near by and in the Summer the Playmill Theater in West Yellowstone is so fun that we go back year after year to all the live plays. There is also a dinner theater right in Island Park.

wonderful property

We had 25 in our property and there was so much room for all. The property is well maintained and is lovely. If we go back to Idaho we would surely stay here again. The owner is very nice person and helped with whatever we needed.

Absolutely wonderful place

  • 5 of 5

We came to this property for a family reunion of 30 people. The pictures don't do it justice. It is a very nice, clean place and perfectly set up for a large group. I appreciated that each room had separate bathrooms and many of the rooms had bunks. For meal time, there was plenty of seating. The kids loved the game room and the play structure outside. We enjoyed the fire pit and proximity to YNP and Mack's Inn. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for large groups. They've pretty much thought of everything you'd need!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin's location is fantastic. It's not far off the main highway and probably less than a mile from a small grocery store, yet you still feel like you're away from it all.

The owners have done a great job with the setup. Fully stocked kitchen, couple of pack n plays, baby gate, games, etc. I can't recommend this property enough! We had a group of 35 and never felt like we were on top of each other. The kids spent most of their time out playing on the swing set and running around the large open space in the backyard. You won't be disappointed with the Quakie Cabin!!

**A side note. Use caution on the stairs if you're wearing socks! I was carrying something down the stairs and my socks slipped on the stair and I fell and slid the rest of the way down the stairs :/**

Snowmobile Retreat

  • 5 of 5

We had eleven guys so we had all kinds of room for snowmobile gear. There was room to park 3 pickups with big enclosed trailers we had to back out but not a big deal there was plenty of room to get turned around. Having all of those bathrooms made it nice for everyone getting ready for the day. We ate at Connie's just down the rode for supper very good food and it was within walking distance. We made a big breakfast at the cabin every morning and that worked very good. Only complaint was that the coffee pot didn't work. I would stay there again if I was traveling with a large group. Thank You.

Great stay for a large family reunion. We fully enjoyed our experience.

  • 5 of 5

My family have enjoyed this lodge once before. The addition of the small bunk house made it even more accommodating. If you have a large family this is probably the best situation you could dream of. Seven of the bedrooms have a master suite which includes queen size beds and bunk beds for the smaller families allowing privacy for individual families to get away for naps, quiet time etc. The kitchen is small in the big house but adequate if you are organized. The play area for the children was great and safe. We had room to play games, or just hide out with pretend forts for the kids. I liked that the cleaning fee was included. There was minimum needed done which allowed us to get out of the house for checkout quickly. The house would be inadequate for handicap people as it is three levels of stairs and there is no access to the main floor/kitchen area except by stairs. That is just an FYI. We didn't have any special needs but I know a lot of people do. Other than that it was a great stay and I would highly recommend it.
