Great Experience

This is the perfect condo in the perfect location with the perfect view. Even during spring break, it was peaceful and relaxing. The people were wonderful with great communication from check in to check out. We are already planning another trip.

Laid back getaway

We wanted a place on the beach without the carnival atmosphere. We hit the jackpot. There is so much to see and so much to do with a "local" atmosphere! We mainly stayed on the beach during the day. We saw dolphins almost everyday from the water and from our room! Everything you need is there. Simple check in. Great security. Wonderful staff. The owner even contacted us to give us tips on shark tooth hunting! We will be back. If you are going to Amelia Island this is your place. Condo was very clean, roomy and the beds were awesome!

Great place, location, host, etc

This was a wonderful property for my wife, children, and mother-in-law. The weather was less-than-ideal (and changed often from the forecasted constant rain!) But we got some sun and sand castles at the beach, tried our hand fishing from the pier, read on the balcony, visited the pool, played tennis, etc. I really appreciated the host's communication (host was never needed but made availability very easy). Not crowded. The island was great. It had everything you needed for short vacations (plus plenty for folks there longer term). There were lots of bike paths I still want to explore as well as activities like putt-putt. I can definitely see is coming back to the same spot another time.

Great vacation

We loved the condo. Very clean. Comfortable beds and furniture. The coffee maker wasn't working when we arrived but was replaced as soon as we let them know which was really appreciated. The private fishing pier and grills were of great benefit to our family.

Amazing Respite!

This was a much need and rejuvenating vacation for us. The condo is beautiful and I can't say enough about how helpful DJ was! The weather was great and the beach is not too crowded. I highly recommend staying there. Amelia island offers many adventures without the hectic crowds of other places.

Right... On the Beach

If you want to wake up to sunrises and walks on the beach, this two-bedroom, two-bath property has what you are looking for. A higher floor location in this family-friendly building is comfortable for 5-6 people, including children, and convenient to shopping locations for food, general supplies, restaurants and downtown Fernandina Beach attractions. Some of the living room furniture has been recently replaced with comfortable reclining theatre-style sofas. The kitchen is well laid out for food preparation, though limited in dish selection. The beds are comfortable, the closets adequate for short-term stays. The daytime on-site staff is helpful and able to get any missing or poorly functioning issues promptly addressed (a difficult door lock was replaced within 24-hours at our request). An enjoyable, friendly stay!

Great Location and ocean/ beach view.

My wife and I throughly enjoyed staying at this 5th floor condo at “ Amelia by the Sea.” This great location on the beach two bedroom condo has very nice furnishings, large bedrooms and a great view of the beach and ocean. This unit far exceeded our expectations and we will definitely stay here in the future.

Beach Getaway

We were right on the beach. 5th floor so had a great view. There were good restaurants near. Very quiet and not crowded in September. Loved our stay.

Family Getaway

Overall our stay was very good. The condo was exactly as we expected. Everything was clean and ready to go! We had all tithe kitchen and bath items needed for a great stay. The pool was amazing and very relaxing. We didn’t take advantage of the pier this trip for fishing but would definitely try in the future. My family all agreed we’d come back and stay.

Nice Property

Property in general was a little dated. For our particular condo, the master bed and bath has been extensively updated, but not so much the rest of the condo. Hoping that is in the works. Plenty of towels and sheets, though. The owner was very responsive. Never heard from onsite property management once we got there, but we didn't need any assistance. Was disappointed that trash was building up outside and not being collected. We had to go all the way to the other side to get rid of our trash. I'm sure the holiday schedule had something to do with it, but there were mattresses, old tv & plywood sitting in the parking lot. Location was great! Thanks for a very nice stay.

Great vacation location on the shore.

The condo unit is very well located and lived up to all my expectations. The ocean view is fantastic and the unit is well kept and very comfortable.

My favorite place on Amelia Island!! I just love staying here.

Wow!!!!! We came back this year & the place looks fantastic. They have remodeled again making it nicer than ever. I love Amelia Island. It is by far the best place in Florida to visit & DJ's condo just adds to our wonderful experience & trip. My wife loves to cook & the kitchen has everything she wants or needs to cook all her fancy meals. The rooms look & feel so much bigger & nicer We sleep like babies with the ocean sound in the background (have to leave the window cracked) and the fan stirring the breeze. Love walking across the street to The Surf, good food & entertainment. Golf close & great fishing closer just walk out the door. Tennis & swimming for the kiddos. Plus the best beach for swimming , surfing & finding sharks teeth. As well as horseback riding up the beach at Sea Horse Stables. Already looking forward to our next trip. Hated to go home. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. Thomas

Wonderful

The only thing better would be on the first or second floor. We were on the fifth. Could not walk the stairs without killing my legs😬. I Should be in better shape! Loved our stay!

Perfect Vacation Spot

This was a great vacation spot for everyone in our group especially my husband who is on a walker & very limited mobility. He spent endless hours on balcony reading & enjoying the view. Our swimmers loved the pool & our beach crowd loved the beach. Our fishermen regretted not bringing his gear when he saw the pier with a cleaning station & running water. Highly recommend this piece of paradise
