Queenshill is a two bedroom apartment in a convenient location from which to enjoy the glorious and varied aspects of Scotlands wonderful capital City. Situated on the north side of the city and only a 5 minute bus ride from the West End, Queenshill offers easy access to the Forth Road Bridge, airport, convenient bus routes and all main roads for those who wish to explore further afield. First of all, the apartment was very clean. The nearby buses got us anywhere we wanted to go in a short time. And whenever we weren’t sure the people of Edinburgh stepped up to help. Nearby shops were helpful we could keep some snacks and a quick breakfast in the apartment. There was no lift and a lot of steps but we handled ok, but if you have mobility issues it could be a problem. Fiona was helpful and responsive to our needs. Overall, a good choice.

Hogmanay in Edinburgh

We absolutely fell in love with the ancient and historically beautiful city of Edinburgh. We were so grateful for the spacious accommodation and newly renovated bathroom and shower. Fiona was so great about communicating with us and making our stay top notch.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was in a nice area, quick walk around the corner to a main line bus into old city, spacious sitting area. Bedroom with single beds is a little cramped for 2 adults with 2 suitcases but we made it work. My only complaint is the floors. While clean and taken care of, they SQUEAK. Like, loud squeaking when you walk anywhere from bedrooms to bathroom. If you have light sleepers in your party, they're in trouble. I didn't mind because I'm a heavy sleeper but a few friends did when someone got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Overall, I would say again.

Great stay

This was a convenient location with shopping and coffee an easy walk. The bus stop was close to carry us to City Centre. The flat was compact and comfortable. Fiona’s communication was great and she was very responsive to my requests. Enjoyed our time here and would stay again if ever another chance to visit this beautiful city!

Edinburgh visit

We stayed at at this flat for three nights. Kitchen was stocked , bedrooms were clean and sufficient and living room was a comfortable place to relax. We felt the apartment could be heated longer as the heat came on only twice for an hour throughout the day.

I am so sorry that you missed the instructions about the heating in my information message, the lengthy one I wrote before you arrived with all the arrival and departure information. It read:- The heating is set to come on for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening but it is a warm apartment and you may want to adjust it depending on the weather. There are instructions in the flat. Also the same is mentioned in the information folder within the apartment. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and you liked Queenshill.

Why they chose this property

We chose this apartment because of the convenience. It has a parking space, it is 5 mins on the bus to the West End. We have shops across the road. You can walk to Murrayfield, The Water of Leith and the West End from the path behind the flat.
