beautiful home in excellent location
Wonderfully restored home with plenty of room for the eight people that stayed during our trip. Located perfectly for a short walk to shopping, restaurants and anything else downtown.
Wonderful stay - wonderful owners and helpful during the stay. House was clean and inviting - and the kitchen had all utensils and cooking items needed. We were welcomed with a fresh loaf of homemade bread. Wonderful house, visit and stay.
Only constructive comment is possibly add an awning or large umbrella in the back as there was no shade to enjoy the beautiful patio. It was a bit hot in the direct sun to be in the back. I would give it five stars if the yard (tall grass needed cut) and shade were addressed - and honestly, it is worth all the stars. We will be back! Thank you for a beautiful home shared with us!.
Wonderful and Well Equipped
This house was perfect for 10 of us. There was plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need to make meals. The backyard and fire pit were also great. Overall, a very comfortable house that we will definitely come back to!
Great place to stay
Amazing location, within walking distance to downtown stores and restaurants. House is very clean, with one of the best stocked kitchens of any house I've stayed at. Fire pit is a great place to hang out. The owners are very nice and dropped off some delicious poppy seed bread that didnt last too long as everyone had multiple slices. The area has lots of great hiking trails, rafting, and biking opportunities. I will definitely be returning.
Great home for 8-10 people
A very charming home. The house was spacious with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The location was convenient to the New River, where we went rafting.
well maintained, clean, spacious, and convenient
The house is well maintained, very clean, and super spacious. Beds are very comfortable and towels are new and clean. Location is convenient. Kitchen is well equipped with pots, glasses, utensils, and many more. The outdoor patio with grill provides a relaxing space after a busy day. Bill is very friendly and stopped by with a loaf of yummy homemade poppy seed bread. We took his advice on two hiking trails and both have amazing view.
The AC units are next to master bedroom, and therefore, master bedroom might not be suitable to people who are sensitive to noise. We did not find dishwasher soap, and luckily we brought one bottle. Big box stores are not faraway if you need anything.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting this area.
