great place nice and clean
had a great stay. Place was clean and had everything we needed
The location is fantastic! Only a five minute boat ride to the beautiful Suwannee River and Gulf of Mexico. Our month long stay in the condo was relaxing. It is well equipped will everything you would need. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Everyone we met was nice and friendly. The property inside and out is well maintained. My husband and I had a relaxing time boating and fishing. Can't wait to go again!
We loved the condo. It’s in a perfect location if you want to be bring your boat and fish. If you don’t have a boat there is a dock to fish off of. There is plently of room and nicely furnished. Had plenty of extra kitchenware so you don’t have to bring a lot extra beside clothes, food and yourself.
The condo was very clean, very nicely furnished and the kitchen was very well equipped -- what more could you ask for?
Wonderful place well equipped and peaceful
We had a calm and relaxed week. We fished, rode in the boat and visited with the locals. We highly recommend The Islanders
What a gem!
The Islander is perfect if you want to get away from it all. The condo has everything you need for a wonderful relaxing and fun vacation. All the furniture is so comfortable, lots of room for four to six people. The area is so quiet at night and you can see a beautiful sunset from the balcony. The floating dock which goes almost completely around the property provided great fishing opportunities. The property is between two canals and Marina across the way. Suwannee has two restaurants which are both excellent! They also have a market for groceries. Another nice feature is the private pool and pool house. Hard to cover all the great things about the property or its owner, Britt, who was so very nice!
World class fishing for bass, trout, redfish, grouper and snapper in the river, flats, creeks and gulf. Take a boat ride up the historic Suwannee River to see the abundant wildlife or swim in one of the many fresh water springs. There are many small islands to explore or relax on their sandy banks. Wildlife abounds here in this beautiful area. See all types of birds, storks, pelicans, ducks, osprey, bald eagles, herons and egrets. You may also spot alligators, dolphins, porpoise, sturgeon, tarpon and manatee. During the season, scallops are easily gathered in the grass flats around the coast. Tour the island by golf cart or bring a bicycle. Enjoy a sunset dinner at Salt Creek Restaurant where you will find fresh seafood, home cooking or ask them to prepare your fresh catch! Be sure and check out the Dixie Mainline Trail just north of town. It parallels the coast through the lower Suwannee wildlife refuge. Hike, bike or slowly drive (25 mph) this 9 mile trail through pine forest, hardwood hammock, wetlands and tidal creeks. Guided fishing trips and golf outings with teaching professional available.
