The accommodations were very clean, comfortable and cozy. The location was very convenient and a short walking distance to the main shopping area.
Cedar Key was a great little get away and everyone was super friendly!
Kitchen was well equipped, but we had nothing to cook. The closest grocery store is 45 min away and we were not notified about this in advance or we would have shopped before heading in to cedar key. At least we were only there 2 nights. Outside of that though, the stay was nice.

Thanks for the review! Highly suggest searching things like this before coming.
Our stay couldn’t have been more perfect! So much space, clean, quiet and had everything we needed! If I had to pick something that wasn’t up to par, I’d say that the lack of light on the porch made it difficult to let in the door code but honestly it was minuscule. We will definitely be back!!

Thanks for the review, Ashley! The porch lights are something we're working on with our electrician. Glad you enjoyed your stay!
We had an amazing stay at Pelican Point and just short walk to Annie's for breakfast. Amazing atmosphere and even being on first floor (downstairs) the upstairs noises were minimal. A must stay!!

About the host
Your host
Lauren and Aric developed a passion for sharing the nature coast of their home state of Florida in 2020, when they started their hosting journey in Tarpon Springs. They're excited to have expanded into Cedar Key, where Lauren spent time as a child while visiting her grandmother, who has lived in nearby Chiefland, FL, her whole life.
Why they chose this property
Lauren and Aric LOVE sharing their properties with others, and providing a comfortable and stress-free stay. They also enjoy spending time in their properties themselves. In Cedar Key, they get to see Lauren's grandmother (who turned 90 in 2022) and her uncle, who live in Chiefland.
What makes this property unique
Pelican Point is unit #1 of 6 within a historic apartment building, which was the general store in the 1930s. Units #3 (Sandpiper Wing), #5 (Blue Heron Nest) and #6 (White Heron Nest) are also short-term rentals, while 2&4 are long-term tenants.
Pelican Point is one of the larger units on the island. Located on the first floor with a covered porch, you walk into the open dining area, living room with large smart TV, and kitchen. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking and baking with stove/oven, microwave, toaster, blender, mixer, coffee maker, pots/pans, measuring cups, and more! Clean up is easy with help of the dishwasher. The full-sized fridge has an ice maker, which is appreciated by our fishermen and women. Continuing past the great room is the second bathroom and second bedroom, which has a full-twin bunk beds. Continuing on, you'll come to the large primary bedroom, with king-sized bed, smart TV, and en suite bathroom/laundry room. Pelican Point offers you a serene, comfortable environment for whatever you have planned.
