Newly renovated main house, plus separate detached apartment sleeps up to 6 adults, or 4 adults, 2-4 kids comfortably
Property is steps from the lakefront, and has its own sandy pier/beach for afternoon sunbathing and swimming or cocktail hour. 2 docks, plus a mooring allow easy boat access during your stay.
Fishing in this cove either from the dock or your boat are among the best on the lake.

This is the perfect landing spot for a family vacation, get together with friends or late summer getaway.

Wonderful Location

My family stayed at Chris’s place for a long weekend in June. The house was very clean and well stocked. We really liked the open floor plan and the view was wonderful. The location is quiet but is also convenient to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to come back in the future.

Family Weekend

It is perfect for a nice relaxing lakeside stay. Off the beaten path. Plenty of amenities. We enjoyed sitting by the fire on the waterfront after dinner. The home is well supplied with things for any family with any age children. Our kids are adults so fishing and sitting around the fire at night was a perfect end to the day, after spending the day at Freyburg Fair. (which was only about 20-25 minutes away.) This is a place we would return to for sure.

Super Family Friendly Location and Property!

This property was truly a family getaway dream. From the lake views out the wall of glass in the open concept living room/dining room/kitchen to the games, books, toys, chairs, firepit, sandy beach, dock, raft, floats, paddle board, kayaks, water sports gear, grill & blackstone griddle... you need only your suitcase! We took our 2 dogs and the location was perfect in that you feel secluded and cannot see neighbors for the dogs to bark at or be bothered with. Easy to swim and boat from! The sandy area is a luxury and our 2 kids (age 4.5 and 10 months) were able to have a blast. Chris was a pleasure to deal with and we had a wonderful stay for the week. Highly recommend as this lake is beautiful as well. Quieter than most NH lakes I've been on and serene for a family.

Perfect Spot

Beautiful location! This property has all the amenities you want at a lake house. The dock and swimming area are private and get plenty of sun. The house and kitchen were well appointed. The views from inside the house were gorgeous. We hope to make it back soon.

Beautiful location

It's rare to find a place so quiet and private that's also so conveniently located. The waterfront is wonderful, and the large open common area in the house works well for groups. Our adult kids appreciated the privacy of the apartment. The house was well stocked and clean, the beds comfortable, and Chris's communications were clear and helpful. Two close-up bald eagle sightings were a bonus!

One of the best family vacations we had.

The property is clean and well maintained. The owners responded to all our texts within minutes. Their attitude was accommodating and professional. Much appreciated. The property is facing West - meaning you will have really nice view of the sunset. The water visibility is 6-10 feet which is amazing for a lake. The private dock and beach area are fantastic! The air is clean, smells of pines - could not get enough of it! WiFi is reliable and with a strong signal. There is a way to arrange for a separate working area. Bugs: NONE! We visited end of Sept., so your experience might vary.

Great location on the lake. Nice large living area in the house. Reasonably close to hiking trails. Kayaks and Paddle Board were a plus. Thoroughly enjoyed our vacation.

Excellent vacation

Property was very clean when we arrived. This lake house is the perfect spot for kids, the docks and lake area are well maintained and was perfect for the kids to swim or fish from the docks. The communication with the owner was also very good. I would not hesitate to rent this property again.

Amazing!!

What an amazing piece of property! Spectacular views of the lake - quiet and peaceful (until our kids got in the water! ) - had everything we needed to enjoy the water from kayaks to paddle boat - fishing right off the dock - they even supplied towels and sunscreen!! Our children told us it was the best vacation they ever had! Course we had the best weather too - heat wave and no rain our whole week! Thanks Chris and Christine for sharing your home with us!!

Beautiful & Relaxing

Beautiful stay on the lake. If you want to get away and have some down, yet close enough to do some great shopping around town then this is the place!! Some nice places to hike and caught some fish right off the dock!! Just what the doctor ordered!!

Fantastic Location!

Beautiful property, house and location. Peaceful, serene setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the many amenities and extras. We had everything we could possible want for a week on a beautiful lake. The views were spectacular, whether from the house, deck or dock. Chris was a great host, easy to communicate with and responsive. We are all hoping to come back next year.

Great location on the lake!

We loved the location of the property. The 2 docks and floating dock was great! Kids loved fishing. The 2 kayaks and paddle board were a plus! Fire pit was great and also waterfront area to hang out. The family had a nice time. Owner was available if needed (but did not need!). Really enjoyed our time here. Would recommend!

Amazing family vacation spot-- even better than the pictures!

Couldn't believe what a beautiful spot this was. A quiet cove perfect for swimming but with access to all of Long Lake (and Sebago beyond if you go through the Songo Locks!). So many thoughtful amenities, and having the separate apartment unit was perfect for providing a quiet spot to work remotely. Would love to go back someday!

Lakeside delight

We just completed our week of renting this perfectly located lake house. The sandy bottom swimming area, docks and raft were perfect for our family. We were pleasantly surprised with the use of two kayaks too! The owner is very responsive and the cottage had everything we needed☺️

Wish we could give more stars!!

We just stayed at the property last week and we couldn’t have been happier. First of all, the homeowners were a pleasure to deal with prior to our arrival. When we did arrive we found the house to be spotless, fully stocked with fresh towels, bedsheets and pillows, and anything else you could possibly need. We went out to the backyard and I can’t even describe how beautiful it is. The back deck, patio and entry to the lake are the best we have ever seen in our years of staying in the area. All in all the place was great, the owners are fantastic and I think my family and I have found the ideal place for our future summer vacations.

This place is great and the owner is friendly. The house was recently renovated and very modern. The TV was nice and Big. The property has a nice away from it all feel, while still being close the virtually everything in the area.

We are a couple with 2 school age children. This property was purchased to be our place to retire to and enjoy with our children and grandchildren.

We fell in love with this property at first sight. it is one of a handful of houses on Long Lake in Bridgton, that face Southwest, allowing full sun from 10:00 a.m. until sunset. This, plus the fact that the house is literally steps from the lake make it truly special for enjoying quiet time on the lake.

This property is situated on one of the quietest, sunniest spots on the end of Long Lake. Whether you enjoy kayaking, morning swims, fishing, watersports, or just sunning yourself on the one-of-a-kind raised beach pier, this house will not disappoint. Views of the lake abound from nearly every spot inside and out. It is a short walk from downtown Harrison for food and ice cream, and Bridgton Academy's public fields and courts.
