Private, attached one level guesthouse in the trees. Creekside. Nature! hooting owls, howling coyotes. Private fenced yard. Walking distance to hiking trails, shops, restaurants, coffee shop, yoga, library, bars. Walk to tiny town, local restaurants, coffee shops, vintage shopping, library, and yoga. Right off the main boulevard so it is easy to get to. In the cooler side of Topanga just 4 miles from the beach. Along the creek, open space and beautiful energy. A/C. We are right off the blvd and get some traffic noise.

Great getaway spot

Was lovely welcoming spot, very relaxing and cozy with friendly accommodating host. Would definitely stay there again next time I'm in the area.

Great for family!

We enjoyed our stay in Topanga. This guest house was perfect for our family. Our kids enjoyed exploring in the yard and the books and toys. Owners were quick to respond and very accommodating to us. Would recommend!

Like staying with family.

Me and my family stayed for a Celebration of Life for me sister in Santa Monica and choose this property for cost and ease and so happy I did. To sum it up it was like staying at a relatives home because it was so comfortable and inviting. We played board games, cooked meals, played music on the record player. We stopped at the beach where we took the two beach chairs provided to borrow. Overall the property made our stay so good none of us wanted to leave. Just simply beautiful and comfortable. We would love to come back 100 percent.

Good option in Topanga

Great location, and an excellent host experience. The property is cute, accurate to the posted pictures. The creek was running low while we were there, probably typical for mid summer. Heading down the hill during rush hour can seem a little fraught due to the amount of traffic, but the traffic light just up the road helped to stop traffic periodically. I would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing retreat

We stayed here the week before my daughter moved into Pepperdine University. This location is close to the university, the beach, and shopping. We were able to gather things needed for college and relax in between. Lovely experience!

This is the best place ever

I can’t say it enough how amazing it is here. There’s books, boardgames, video games, a PS3, washer and drier, TWO outside hammocks, and the thoughtful detail and love put into this beautiful home is truly a blessing to experience. Thank you Jennifer you are the best host ever!!

Great location & so peaceful

A very welcoming & warm home to stay in. We immediately felt relaxed & enjoyed our stay. It was nice & private. Great location. The road closure didn't affect us at all.

LA college visits

We booked this place to stay while visiting a number of local colleges with out high school daughter. This unit was a perfect size for our family of three and very peaceful after long days of driving and touring schools. Very cozy and had all the amenities that we needed. We loved the quiet of staying in Topanga; at night the loudest things were the frogs on the creek. Would certainly stay again the next time we're in LA!

The Creekside Escape

It was more than we expected. The grounds were beautiful. The cabin was cozy and restful. It was centrally located to downtown Topanga, within walking distance. We loved our stay.

Beautiful canyon oasis

Stayed for four nights with my teen daughter for a mother/daughter trip. Property is charming, located in a creekside oasis. Bedrooms were perfect - second bedroom is smaller but still plenty of space. Well-equipped kitchen, lots of space to spread out. Low ceiling height in shower, so might be challenging for taller people. Outdoor space is spectacular. Fully private patio and fully fenced front yard. Other VRBOs on the property, but you wouldn't know it. Felt totally private. Loved my morning coffee on the patio while the teen slept in. Canyon location is stunning, but a decent drive up and down. Fun winding road, but tricky if you get carsick. Communication with host was clear and detailed. Would not hesitate to recommend and would happily stay again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!

Sweet Cottage Atmosphere

Well located, able to get into the city as well as the beach. Loved the Mexican vibe the cottage had. Very eclectic in furnishings. Jennifer was a joy to work with. This cottage deserves 5 STARS all the way…..😁

On the seasonal creek, easy to get to. Some properties in Topanga are up very windy roads or steep hills, not us. We are centrally located and walking distance to most restaurants, coffee shops, general store, yoga, library etc. Yet we are in the trees. So close yet oh so far away! You have a private yard and multiple outdoor seating areas with a beautiful view. Off street parking.
