We had a great stay at Pine Tree Cabin. Everything matched the description, there is plenty of space and the kitchen is well stocked. Highly recommend!
This was the second time staying here at this house and a success both times. The location is perfect and close to both solitude and brighton. We are already planning to return for another trip .
This place never disappoints. This was our second time to stay here in back to back years and it was perfect! Location is great just a few minutes from Brighton, Solitude Ski resort and Silver Fork restaurant. We will definitely be back!
Location is perfect for riding at Solitude or Brighton. Hot tub is nice. Property as a great fireplace and a garage. Well stocked with kitchen gear and other items. Highly recommend. We had a fantastic time!
The property is accurately described in the listing and worked out very well for our group of 5. We stayed there in January for a ski trip. The easy access to Brighton, Solitude and the Silver Fork are great. Also, Snowbird/Alta are not too bad a drive, if the roads are OK. The property is very nice. We cooked 2 dinners and found the kitchen well-appointed for the meals. The rooms were comfy and the hot tub is very nice. We would stay there again.
The cabin was everything we could've hoped for. Its location was close to all the mountains, skied all 5 Ikon mountains from first to last chair! The rooms/beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room for 5 guys. The hot tub was a welcomed reset after a long day of skiing. Highly recommend this property. Thank you for a prefect trip and accommodations. Cheers!

Always something new!
We have spent many wonderful vacations here and look forward to everyone if them. The rental property is perfect for all types of gatherings. Whether it be large family gatherings, or just a romantic getaway it allows you to take advantage of all it's beautiful surroundings and the opportunity for great memories to be made. Summer fall winter or spring it doesn't matter this is a property you shouldn't miss!
We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay! Skiied Brighton, Solitude and Snowbird. Excellent location 5 minutes from Solitude with Brighton Ski Resort another 10 minutes up the canyon. Snowed a few days before we got there, We had excellent conditions at all the resorts with around 4 feet of base on Christmas day. Conditions at the slopes remained excellent all week..
The cabin is great for a family with plenty of room to stretch out, lots of deck(s) space, very comfortable beds and everything we needed to cook some gourmet meals.
Multiple restaurants at the base of the canyon deliver and the ride into town is about 25 minutes.
Kari is a great host and communication was excellent.
We would definitely return!
Loved the location and the house was pretty much as we expected from the photos. Lovely to be in the woods in the snow, quiet, huge windows viewing the snow covered trees, lots of snow to play in. The host was wonderful, responsive, and everything was well set up and in order. We would definitely come back.
The house and location was ideal for our family. With a moose strolling through the back yard to access to spectacular hiking we were in solitude heaven
The house was as pictured-rustic, dated and campy but perfect for us for a ski weekend. It is not luxury but beds are comfy and lots of great pillows-close to great skiing at Brighton and Solitude. Kitchen had all you need for cooking meals. Wood stove is cozy-young adults enjoyed splitting the wood! Definitely need 4-wheel drive vehicle to get in/out.
It's a really nice place. Super close to Solitude and Brighton owners and property managers are nice and respond quickly. Only weaknesses are you might struggle to get out when it snows a lot and hot water runs out when multiple people shower. But overall great place to stay definitely recommend it and would stay here again!
Wonderful time. Cabin was well stocked with the essentials for an extended stay. Easy access. Cozy fireplace. Hot tub was glorious after long, cold days on the slopes.
Great sleeping arrangements, nice to have the deck so accessible. Not deceived by size and location it was tough however to determine property lines would be nice to have a small area to lay on the ground or hang a hammock. Definitely have plans to return if they will have us.
Overall a great experience. Property was located conveniently close to all the outdoor trails and lakes. The cabin itself was clean, spacious, and comfy as well.
This cabin was just the right size for the family and the perfect place to unwind after hiking and exploring the area. We saw a moose off the back porch the last morning of our stay.
This is a dream place. Very well maintained and perfectly laid out. If your lucky like us you will get a glimpse of the moose running around. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs escape from city. Hoping to return next year for 60th birthday

Central yet remote
Cabin is large enough for a family gathering, but was still perfect and cozy for our group of 4. 20 minutes up the canyon felt remote, but still easy access to south Salt Lake City and to Park City over the pass. Excellent hiking, and lots of wildlife. Cabin is rustic and somewhat dated, but had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
We were a group of 4 male friends/skiers, all over 50, all homeowners -- in other words a pretty tough group to please. Pine Tree Cabin impressed us all.
It is nestled in the pine woods, and you feel like you are alone in the mountains. The house faces south, so you get lovely winter sunshine. The floorplan is good and the bedrooms are generally spacious (3 large, 1 medium, 1 small.) There are 5 bedrooms, which was more than in the listing (!). The recently-upgraded wifi is fast. The under-cabin garage provides very welcome protection from the snow. The under-porch hot tub doesn't have great views but is hot and large. There is a seemingly infinite supply of well-seasoned firewood. The kitchen is very well equipped, and there were abundant basics (oil, vinegar, spices, left-behind coffee, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, etc). Bathrooms were well supplied with soap, shampoo, toilet paper. The cabin is close to Solitude and Brighton and to the Silver Fork restaurant with its downright fancy cuisine .
We came in a 4WD vehicle, but it had balding tires, and we got stuck in the fresh snow, so make sure your vehicle is good.
Many thanks to the owner and to the property manager!
Great house in a great location. We all loved our beds. Super comfy and the big windows really enhanced the view. You may need some new pots & pans but everything else was just fine. Thank you
The cabin was perfect! The kitchen had all the appliances and cooking utensils needed. The description given by the property owner is accurate however it exceeded our expectations.

Why they chose this property
After several years of renting in Big Cottonwood we decided to buy our own cabin and make a great vacation rental property so other families can enjoy the canyon.
