This is a beautiful house in a lovely location. We were there for New Years eve and enjoyed the full kitchen for making a special meal and the wood burning stove for a very cozy stay. Ann was very responsive to every question I had and made sure to give me any information I needed before my arrival. If you are looking for a beautiful home off the beaten path this is the perfect pick!
We loved the house and the views. We had a great visit!
Jay and Ann's bungalow offered our family the best of both worlds for an extended stay in the North Carolina mountains. The place is only 25 minutes from downtown Asheville, and all it has to offer, while sitting on the edge of a national Forest where you can get away from urban life with a 2-3 minute walk.
The bungalow is tastefully appointed, and offers plenty of room for a family to spread out. Outside, horses are pastured and there are plenty of opportunities to commune with nature.
Ann and Jay were great hosts throughout, responsive without being imposing.
We definitely recommend this rental.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our evacuation vacation to this charming farmhouse. Everything from the wood burning fireplace to the swing to the creek to the horses to the amazing hiking trails. It was a wonderful experience. Ann and her husband were awesome hosts.
We are already planning our next trip to the farmhouse.
Really enjoyed staying in the bungalow. It's in a valley, so it's very easy to hear the nearby stream and animals. Loved opening all of the windows in the morning. At night, stars and fireflies were nice too. 5 minute walk to the entrance to Pisgah National Forest. Ann and Jay were very responsive throughout. Great stay --
Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay in the bungalow farmhouse very much. We were conveniently located to everything we ventured out to do....Douglass Falls, Biltmore, Blue Ridge Parkway, Mt. Mitchell. The outdoor griddle was great and used for all our meals. Our kids loved the swings! We all enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the fire pit in the evening. The girls spent lots of time visiting the horses.....we only wish they could have gone on a trail ride! Thanks for the memories!
