  • Up in the mountains but close to town

"Unique house, wonderful wrap around deck right up in the treetops, with glimpses of the mountains between them. Very comfortable and large, with everything you need. Freddy was very helpful and responsive, will definitely stay again when we come back to Asheville with all its wonderful restaurants and funky shops, with the Blue Ridge Parkway close by for lovely scenic drives. • 2nd visit as good as the first

"Tranquility knoll cabin is such a wonderful spot to get away from it all and still be close to the excitement. Everything you need is provided, including firewood, dishes, cooking utensils and linens. The owners are just the best! The upstairs, loft, bedroom provides a beautiful view in the early mornings and the front porch, with several rocking chairs, pillows and blankets, just begs for you to sit and relax. There isn't anything missing from this rental. It's wonderful."

  • Perfect mountain retreat!

"It was a treasured family retreat with our two college sons and we wanted something fun and comfortable to enjoy our weekend in Asheville. The cottage was immaculate and cozy with plenty of porches to drink coffee and enjoy the mountain views. We didn't take advantage of the fire pit, but it was there along with swings and hammock. A delightful 5 acres that we could call our own for the stay. Gayle was friendly and attentive, a California transplant whose art is sprinkled about the cottage and property. Ten minutes from downtown and twenty minutes up the mountain to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Will return."
