  • Great fun!!

"We rented the Cloud 9 Relaxation Home (3 seniors, 2 dogs) as a single story place that was pet friendly, away from the congestion of Asheville but close enough to take in all of the attractions. Everything you read about the place on VRBO is accurate. It truly is a 20' drive into Downtown Asheville. You are truly living on a working farm but in a house with all the ammenities we city folk are used to. You truly do wake up every morning with the roosters crowing. Partake in as much of the farm activities as you like; we gathered eggs, fed the cows and chickens, picked fresh berries and vegetables and learned a lot about beekeeping while enjoying fresh honey and eggs. We enjoyed the trails around the property. Janet and Jeff couldn't have been more hospitable hosts."

  • Perfect location for everything Asheville has to offer

"We had a wonderful stay at Gene's place! It was a great location for anything you may want to do while in Asheville. Close to downtown and the Biltmore, as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway, National Pisgah Forest and other beautiful spots for hiking. The property was very comfortable (I'd like to have the bathroom in my own home), and as others have mentioned, we were greeted with delicious cookies and bagels/cream cheese and coffee for breakfast. We were on our "babymoon" and it couldn't have been more fun, relaxing and romantic."

  • Perfect setting

"The Cove at Fairview is a great location - near Asheville but you feel like you are deep in the mountains. The Property is well-maintained, and the Roundette was equipped with all the necessities. Very comfortable and fun to look out on the horses, chickens, goats and donkey!!"

  • Wonderful Cabin Lodging

"This cabin is just as pictured. Two sofas in living room. We didn't use the stove or washer. The master bed comfortable. The bathroom was small but doable. I loved the cabin. I really loved those acres. I would walk it often. The location is awesome. Close to airport and Asheville. We did a ride and picnic on the Blue Ridge parkway. We went into Asheville for 1/2 day. I found myself just wanting to sit and read by the creek back at the cabin. We made a fire in the pit each evening. I loved the dining room barn. I didn't like the road noise from the little country road. You can't hear road noise in cabin. I wish the owners would get more chairs for long sits by the creek and fire pit area. Still, it gets five stars. Roger, caretaker was very helpful. We would come again."
