  • Very satisfied customer!

"Wonderful little cottage, natural-light filled, but cozy too. Super clean. Sweet, accommodating owner. Amenities as advertised. Minutes to Asheville and the Biltmore, but the cottage felt like it was miles from everywhere. Lovely evenings on the porch with mountain views. Would recommend to friends and stay there again."

  • Perfect, and Tranquil Getaway! The name say it all...

"We booked Tranquility Knoll Cabin as a getaway, for the week leading up to our wedding. We arrived late in the evening, and woke up the next morning in complete awe of the breathtaking 360 degree mountain views surrounding the property. The pictures honestly do this place no justice. My wife enjoyed her cup of tea each morning, from the comfort of the front porch, while taking in the amazing views. We were lucky enough make the acquaintance of the neighborhood cows, donkeys, and buffalo. The cabin is just far enough from town to drown out the city lights at night, making it a perfect spot for star gazing. The cabin was clean and well equipped with all of the necessities, and very conveniently located to a nice Ingles supermarket not too far up the road. There are numerous activities to do in the mountains and this cabin is just a hop, skip, and jump away. We spent our week, hiking and mountain biking trails, cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway, exploring Asheville and the surrounding areas. We would stay here again in a heartbeat… and would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a nice quiet vacation, with lots of outdoor activities in mind!"

  • Wonderfully relaxing stay. Cabin had everything I needed and more.

"Great little cabin. Floors a little uneven but it is a very old cabin. Loved sitting on the patio and watching some leaves turn yellow and fall off. I would definitely rent or recommend staying at Cabin Laurel."

  • Relaxing and beautiful

"We were three adults and three children. The appointments in this home are above rental grade and made for a very comfortable stay. The deck is expansive and great for sitting and star gazing, and the king bed in the master is a wonderful tempurpedic. The loft bed is accessed from an open spiral staircase that we kept our youngest child off of for safety. We were happy to follow owners request to have our kids eat at the table and watch for stains on the rugs...it is a lovely home and we wanted to keep it that way for the next guests. The driving around there is a visual treat for city dwellers; our teenager voluntarily turned off the iPad movie and enjoyed the countryside. Driving distance: we took 30 leisurely minutes to get into Asheville, a bit less for the Weaverville Ingalls/Walmart. Sliding Rock was kids favorite day and took about 40 minutes for us."
