"Great little retro 50's cottage tuck back beside a wooded area that has a walking trail beside a flowing creek. Can view the lake from sitting on porch. Very convient to downtown Asheville, like 5 minutes. Very peaceful setting. Owner provided rowboat, canoe & fishing rods to use.Owners were very warm and welcoming. We will definately be back!!"

  • Beautiful House, Amazing Location, Great Service!

"We had an amazing weekend at Mountain Haven! We had around 12 guys attend and the house had more than enough room for all of us to have a comfortable weekend. The location was perfect. Close enough to the attractions and activities we had planned (brewery's, white water rafting and fishing) but still tucked privately into the mountains. The games, hot tub and amazing porch were a big plus. We had a few guests show up before check in due to their flight times, and the folks at Yonder were more than accommodating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

  • Truly Magical

"We had a wonderful week at the Laurel Cottage in Cold Mountain. The cottage itself was perfect and exceeded our expectations, but it is the grounds that really makes this a special place. The swimming hole and rope swing were a favorite, and my daughter caught her first fish (and then many more) at the trout pond, but even just the large fields where the kids could run around were fantastic (and they were filled with fireflies in the evening!). We loved hiking up to the lookout, which provides stunning views of the entire area, as well as just sitting on the porch and taking in the scenery. Thanks for making this special place available to us, it was beyond what we could have hoped for."
