  • Wonderful, large house close to Asheville

"This is an amazing house! Our group of 13 adults and 12 kids (ages 10 to 13 months) stayed at the lodge for 3 nights, and it could not have been any better. There is plenty of space to spread out, a large and well-stocked kitchen, and beautiful views from the front porch. The lodge is about a 10-15 minute drive to Asheville, and about 5 minutes from the grocery. There are also some fun and easy hiking trails right behind the property. As other reviewers note, the gravel road can seem a little intimidating at first, but we didn't have any problems. We unanimously agreed that we will be back!"

  • Perfect Retreat

"This quaint cabin is twice the size of a tiny house and suits 2 people nicely. TLC is an easy drive to the Biltmore and is situated up on a hill so from the back porch there is a nice view. We spent evenings on the porch relaxing on the nice rocking chairs. The interior is knotty pine with beamed ceiling so it's a warm and inviting place. Kitchen well stocked. Roberta is fantastic to work with and we would not hesitate to rent this place again."

  • Historic but modern gem!

"We stayed a week in the Chapman House in historic Biltmore Village. Awesome experience! The upper level apartment was charming, clean and spacious. Decorated comfortably and tastefully with antique elements but modern amenities. The house is within walking distance of many cute boutiques, restaurants, a bakery, galleries, a brewery, antique stores, and close to the Biltmore Estate. We enjoyed our morning coffee and our evening wine on the covered patio off the kitchen. Parking behind the house was so convenient. We have visited Asheville multiple times and consider this property the one we will return to on our next visit!! The best!!"

  • Sunset Ridge is named perfectly!

"We wanted to spend a week at a restful mountain retreat with long range and sunset views - Sunset Ridge really delivered on our wish list! The views are breath taking and at night you see very few lights so it seems like you are sitting in the middle of your own private mountain range! The unit is very private and the deck is massive and wants for nothing. We didn't take advantage of the hot tub because after a day of hiking at Chimney Rock, BRP, or enjoying Asheville in 90 degree temps (unusual heat wave) it was too hot for us. But we did peak at it and it looked crystal clear and very inviting. The unit was very well appointed and had anything and everything you could want. Very, very comfortable and also nicely decorated. Oh and spotless clean as well! We saw dear and other small wildlife from the deck and would love to come back and take advantage of the really pretty outside sitting area and fire pit. Sunset Ridge is close to everything the Asheville area has to offer. Someone mentioned the drive up to the house and yes there is about 1000 feet of gravel but is very doable and not bad at all for a regular car, didn't bother us at all and so worth it. Liz and Tony are great hosts and we so enjoyed meeting both of them. Liz is only a quick text away if you need anything or have any questions. We definitely want to stay at Sunset Ridge again!"
