"We thoroughly enjoyed our 60th anniversary/family reunion week at Winters Haven. It is a delightful destination--in the woods near the Blue Ridge Parkway for hiking, and close to Asheville for fun and excitement. The house was lovely; it was clean, well appointed, and equipped to handle a large group. The decks were a great gathering place for dinners. Yonder's customer service was exceptional; they were easy to work with and quick to respond. Keep in mind the lower terrace is actually a basement. Be aware there is no secondary egress from the two bedrooms on this level. Thank you, Yonder, for a wonderful week."

  • Peace and Quiet

"Cozy cottage with everything we needed, tucked into the trees in a quiet residential neighborhood. Homey decorations and a nice deck bring instant relaxation. There's even a gate (in the closet) to close off the deck so little ones (kids, canines) can stay safe. There's a designated parking spot on the cul-de-sac so our car was out of harm's way. Nice neighborhood for walking our dog and downtown is just a few minutes drive away. The mattress is new and very plush foam. SO comfy!! We'll definitely come back!! The owners are friendly but not intrusive so you have lots of privacy, and they have a sweet friendly dog. We had no problems at all. Our little dog stayed with us and enjoyed the deck (with safety gate). There was room for her play pen in the living room so we could keep her safe (bad back, can't let her jump on furniture) while we were out. one morning a squirrel stopped by to drink from a water garden on the deck and many birds sang to us from the hemlocks. There is a flight of stairs to get to the cottage on the second floor so this place wouldn't work for anyone who can't get up a flight of stairs, but is great for anyone without mobility issues."

  • Excellent Property

"My wife and I enjoyed two nights at this property. It is very clean and well kept, even better than is shown in the photos on here. The view is absolutely fantastic and there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy around the rental. Definitely have a good 4 wheel drive vehicle if you plan on driving up; it is literally on top of a mountain. I'd highly recommend this property and would stay here again."

  • The place to stay in Asheville!!

"Awesome, upscale loft in Downtown Asheville. 16 Church Street was very quiet but so close to the sights, Resturants and Breweries. Very clean and well stocked and a great set-up! Had a problem with the hot water in the morning but this was fixed in 10 Minutes. Will stay here again in the future and recommend this loft to anyone seeking a great time in Asheville."
