  • Cozy getaway close to Asheville

"My sister and I loved staying at the cottage. It was perfect for two people looking to get away! Only 20 minutes to the heart of Asheville, but you feel way out in the country. The cottage was a little dusty and closer to I-40 than we expected, but overall we were very pleased. Would highly recommend!"

  • Cozy and adorable!

"This place is majestical. So glad to have found this gem for our anniversary trip. This farm and cottage is beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, fresh eggs and some beautiful scenery on our hikes. I'm jealous that Janet gets to call this place home. We are grateful to have found this place. Hoping to visit again!"

  • Perfect seclusion

"This was just what the doctor ordered - to get away from it all for a week (and definitely could've been longer). The view every morning/evening is SPECTACULAR. The mountain is quiet and beautiful. The house is spacious and remarkably well equipped (lots of linens, kitchen supplies/utensils). Only a 15min drive into Asheville - we often took a cab from the cabin into town, then take an uber/cab back, very simple (~$20 one-way for 6 people). There is SO MUCH to do in Asheville (breweries, restaurants, music EVERYWHERE). Spoke with the owner on the phone after the stay... very pleasant conversation, very warm, and accommodating. For a delicious quick bite nearby, try the burritos at the local Mexican place at the bottom of the hill (Nachos and Beer I think was the name of the place, looks like a diner). Warning: To those of you who live in "flatter" areas, the drive up is a little thrilling. Only "con" I recall - there's only one shower, but it has 2 shower heads, as a nice compensation. I would absolutely recommend a stay and I can't get back there soon enough. You owe it to yourself to be in a state of serenity like this at least once in your life."

  • Amazing!

"Currently sitting in a rocking chair in this beautiful cabin! Absolutely incredible, we walked in the door last night to find the fireplace burning, and everything perfectly set up for our arrival. George was a perfect gentleman to us and the accommodations are FAR from average as is the view! We will definitely be back."
