  • Cozy home with everything you need for your stay

"I had the most wonderful experience staying at Mint Cottage. I felt so comfy, cozy and at home there. You really just need to bring you clothes and toothbrush - well I brought my Keurig (never leave home without it). The area is perfect to walk downtown in about 20 minutes. The neighboorhood restaurants are fantastic too. Be sure to try Homegrown - best southern fried chichen, Vinnie's - best Italian. And don't forget to walk a block to "Ultimate Icecream". I made that walk a few too many times!!! Thank you Meryl for making your home feel like my home too. You can be sure I'll be back next summer."

  • Nice Family Trip

"Six of us stayed at the home for a 50th Anniversary Trip. We toured the Biltmore and spent some time in Downtown Asheville. The house was clean and comfortable. My Mother in Law wants to plan a trip back in the summer with the Grandkids!"

  • Beautiful Views, Homey, and So Relaxing

"We loved our Christmas stay at the Long Range Mountain Views house. As others have said, the house is super comfortable and the views are wonderful. The fireplace and the stonework is a work of art. We loved it so much we had a hard time going anywhere else. Being able to include our dogs in our Christmas vacation made it even more special. They even had a Christmas tree set up for us! The place was immaculate and had most everything you would want at your fingertips. Georgie was so helpful and accommodating. I can see that a couple of upgrades here and there would add to the home but we will definitely go back hopefully a couple of times this year. We would highly recommend this home."

  • The perfect Asheville retreat!

"I agree with all the other reviews....this lodge is OUTSTANDING for group get-a-way's! We hosted 8 couples for 3 nights, celebrating my husband's 50th birthday. The great room had plenty of room for everyone to hang out but then we each had our own bedroom and bathroom!!! Amazing! The wood fireplace, the views, the location - you really couldn't image a better scenario! The owner was very attentive and when we were low on fire wood, he replenished the next day! We also had a personal chef., Rachel Arenas from Bake My Day Asheville, cook for the group the entire weekend (HIGHLY recommend her as well!!!!) - she and her sous chef cooked and served from the kitchen which, with the double oven, 2 dishwashers, large fridge, etc.....made it all possible. The short connecting trail, a few yards from the lodge, leads right up to the Mountain to Sea trail, where you can go for miles! Again, we can not say enough good things about this retreat!!!!"
