  • Fabulous!

"We have vacationed at this lovely house for five years now, and we like it now just as much as we did the first time we stayed here! It is both elegant and homey and the views of the mountains are just gorgeous. And it is right in Asheville, so all kinds of fun things to do are nearby. Finally, Barclay and Rick are just the best!"

  • Excellent spot for large families with children

"This house had everything we needed--a master bedroom and bath for my wife and me on the main floor, three bedrooms upstairs for our three children and spouses, and two rooms downstairs that held our eight grandchildren. The hot tub, jacuzzi, big yard, shaded porch, grill, and large kitchen and eating areas were welcome pluses. Access was easy and instructions were clear. We all gave it five stars!"

  • The Best Rental Experience Ever!

"We were guests at the Robin's Nest October 6 &7 and had probably the best rental experience of our entire lives! That's saying a lot because we've traveled all over the world and there's always something amiss, a detail forgotten. The cabin was better than described, impeccably clean, and with so much attention to detail that we never had a "I wish we had this moment" our entire visit. It's also a charming and comfortable cabin with quality appliances, furniture, and fixtures, and a quaint history. In addition, it's well-located, an easy drive to downtown Asheville and immediate surroundings. The owners are responsive and attentive. I'd give this more than five stars if I could!"

  • Rain didn't ruin our stay!!!

"CiCi was extremely accommodating! We overlooked the line in her email that stated how to get in. When we arrived we called her and she was at the house within minutes to help. The cabin was beautiful and clean! There were plenty of dishes to make meals at the cabin. We BBQ one day and the gas grill work flawlessly. We had our 9 m/o and 2.5 y/o boys. They had a great time exploring inside and outside. There is a nice big yard for them to play. Just be careful to watch the little ones near the creeks. Unfortunately it was a little chilly and rainy for creek. Weaverville is a nice quiet town with everything you'd need without having to go to Asheville if you don't want to. Asheville was a short 15-20minute drive. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a short 4 mile drive. I did morning bike rides up ox creek (try and stay off reems creek) to the BRP and from there you can do a 24 mile loop to town or just cruise on the parkway. There was plenty of climbing and scenery to keep anyone happy. Overall from a cyclist and dads point of view I wouldn't have changed a thing. We had a great time. Thanks CiCi!!!!"
