  • Perfect for a weekend getaway

"This cabin is perfect for 2 couples and easy drive to town. Love sitting out on the porch in those awesome Rocking Chairs. Kitchen had everything we needed and beds were comfortable."

  • Beautiful Studio Loft

"I came to visit my daughter in Asheville and we stayed in this beautiful loft apartment! The place is even more stunning than the pictures. The owner is an amazing artist and blows glass in his studio below the loft. All of the glass blown pieces in the apartment are handmade and absolutely gorgeous! Bob even offered my daughter and I a tour of his studio downstairs and I ended up purchasing a couple of items that can be found in the art studios downtown for much more. The loft itself is spacious and very open. The multitude of windows allows natural light in throughout the day and moonlight at night. I highly recommend anyone visiting the Asheville area to consider renting this unique find! It was only 6 minutes to UNCA and about 10 minutes to downtown. Thanks, Bob, for creating such a wonderful place to stay! Hope to see you again soon! Dawn & Taylor"

  • Wonderful Home and Hospitality!

"We stayed at this lovely, quirky home full of all kinds of eye catching art, done by Diane, herself. We loved the small courtyard, we lounged by the pool, and enjoyed the warm and wonderfully stocked kitchen. Diane and Dick were so hospitable and it is most evident the care a good deal about creating the perfect experience. Although they do reside on the property, they were so good about ensuring our privacy . Invisible, but at the ready if we had any needs. Just such a nice introduction to Asheville hospitality. We are most thankful that they opened their home to us!"

  • Absolutely wonderful!

"I stayed here for four weeks up until Christmas. I needed a quiet, comfortable home base during my time in Asheville. This beautiful house exceeded my expectations in every way. I knew I would be cooking so I brought my own chef's knife. I have stayed in many rentals over the past decade and never found one with such a well equipped kitchen...until now. Karen has stocked this kitchen with high quality everything, from flatware to cookware, and even knives. The appliances are all new. The kitchen sink is fitted with a water filter that made the really good mountain well water even better, and perfect to drink right from the tap. It made perfect coffee and tea. I did not need to use my water purifier or my own knife! The house is much larger than I expected. The furnishings are new, clean comfortable, and tasteful. The house has a mellow vibe, and was perfect to come home to after the activities of the day. It was up on the side of a mountain, about 10-15 minutes from town (nothing in Asheville is really very far.) It was so peaceful and quiet. The neighborhood is very private, with winding streets and beautiful private homes. I felt very safe there. The house has too many windows to count, and several small decks with chairs and tables to enjoy the gorgeous views. I regret not bringing my binoculars to watch the abundant, flocking birds. The beds were beautifully made for comfortable sleep. There were plenty of natural fiber blankets, an assortment of firm or soft pillows, and luxurious bath towels. The washer and dryer were nicer than my own, and very quiet. I could do laundry while others were sleeping without disturbing anyone. The house was always warm. I especially enjoyed the cast iron gas fireplace in the spacious master suite. Overall, I couldn't have had a better experience staying here. Karen was prompt to respond to any questions I had, and she and her family are lovely people. They were extremely respectful of my privacy, yet always available if I needed something. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I need to return to Asheville. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled across this wonderful property during my search for somewhere to stay for such a long time away from my own home. I think most people would, too. Though there were only two of us, the house is large and comfortable enough for a bigger family. It was perfect for me, as a woman traveling solo, even during the nights I was by myself. I loved it!"
