  • Perfect Retreat

"This quaint cabin is twice the size of a tiny house and suits 2 people nicely. TLC is an easy drive to the Biltmore and is situated up on a hill so from the back porch there is a nice view. We spent evenings on the porch relaxing on the nice rocking chairs. The interior is knotty pine with beamed ceiling so it's a warm and inviting place. Kitchen well stocked. Roberta is fantastic to work with and we would not hesitate to rent this place again."

  • Quiet

"Cute cabin located in the mountains, but a short drive to east Asheville. Close to antique stores, mall shopping, hiking, a nature center, the VA and also to Black Mountain, which is a nice little town with small shops. People are very friendly and helpful. View from the cabin was nice, since leaves were off the trees, so I could see the mountains. However, there is a house near by that I could see from the hot tub and the living room. So it's not as secluded and private as I expected. The road was bumpy and narrow, but perfectly fine for cars. I would recommend this for anyone that wants to be 'away from it all' but close to activities. Great location for that."

  • Beautiful apartment, great location

"We enjoyed our stay at the Lofts! The apartment was better than shown in the photos. It was clean and well stocked with basic items like paper towels, dish soap, etc. The only possible issues were the long stairs to get to the apartment, and the challenging parking situation. (Parking signs in the lots do not indicate what a "full day" of parking is, and you need exact bills, otherwise you wind up paying $20 for a $12 parking as we did :-( We eventually wound up parking at the near-by hotel where we could talk to a real person about the parking fees, and even they had to call their manager to understand their parking rules!)"

  • A Great Space for a Large Group

"The house handled our group of 17 adults very well--plenty of common areas, great porch spaces, sufficient sleeping accommodations, and a very usable kitchen. The location nicely blended relative convenience to downtown Asheville and immediate convenience to basic necessities (gas, groceries, etc.) with a generally rustic ambience and easy access to a lot of the Western NC wilderness. For those who might be trying to ride share to town with a large group, it's worth noting that getting sufficient Uber/Lyft transportation for a multi-car crew can take a bit of coordination (at least that was our experience on a Saturday afternoon), but that's not the house's fault. You simply need to build in a little lead time. Overall, a great experience!!"
