  • Excellent, "luxury" cabin experience

"I went with three friends to stay at the Charmed Cottage and we all agreed it was an amazing experience. Brea gave very clear and straightforward instructions about how to get there (the drive up to the cabin is quite an adventure- it's a steep drive up the mountain on a gravel road, but our Mazda made it up just fine) and what to expect upon arrival. The cottage itself was beautiful. The bathrooms were equipped with fresh towels, the kitchen had everything we needed to make a home cooked meal, and there were multiple patios to enjoy the mountain air. For four people we had plenty of space. There's a little to explore outdoors around the property, but don't expect to play a game of soccer on the top of the mountain or to find any hike-able trails on the property (well there are a few hidden trails but they are short and I'd recommend wearing pants because the plants clearly grow like crazy on the mountain). The drive to Asheville is super easy (about 20-25 mins) and even getting to the nearest grocery store only took about 15 minutes. We had a blast and are planning to check out this cabin (or another of Brea's properties) in the fall when the leaves change colors. Highly recommend."

  • The Best Rental Experience Ever!

"We were guests at the Robin's Nest October 6 &7 and had probably the best rental experience of our entire lives! That's saying a lot because we've traveled all over the world and there's always something amiss, a detail forgotten. The cabin was better than described, impeccably clean, and with so much attention to detail that we never had a "I wish we had this moment" our entire visit. It's also a charming and comfortable cabin with quality appliances, furniture, and fixtures, and a quaint history. In addition, it's well-located, an easy drive to downtown Asheville and immediate surroundings. The owners are responsive and attentive. I'd give this more than five stars if I could!"

  • Your own personal treehouse

"This was a perfect place for the reunion trip that my sisters and I had planned . . . a great retreat to come back to in the evenings after busy days in town, at Chimney Rock, etc. It is just like having your very own treehouse to hang out in . . . just you and your friends and no one else to bother you. The hot tub on the deck was a big bonus as was the outstanding view. Even the winding mountain drive up to the chalet made it feel like you were going to your own little hideaway. We loved it and would definitely return!"

  • Beautiful House, Amazing Location, Great Service!

"We had an amazing weekend at Mountain Haven! We had around 12 guys attend and the house had more than enough room for all of us to have a comfortable weekend. The location was perfect. Close enough to the attractions and activities we had planned (brewery's, white water rafting and fishing) but still tucked privately into the mountains. The games, hot tub and amazing porch were a big plus. We had a few guests show up before check in due to their flight times, and the folks at Yonder were more than accommodating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"
