  • Spacious and comfortable

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at this cabin. We especially enjoyed the large common area with comfortable couch and chairs -- a great space for everyone to hang out. The cabin is well maintained, tastefully decorated, and has all the little touches that make for a welcoming stay. Good location convenient to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Beautiful view from the spacious deck, and the hot tub was great. The owner is very friendly and super-helpful with a couple of minor issues when we contacted her."

  • Relaxing and convenient

"Thank you for a wonderful week's accommodations! My husband, (4-yr old) daughter, and I had a lovely stay. The cottage is adorable and just what we were looking for to get away from our busy lives. The hot tub was enjoyable and the location was great for trips into Asheville and local hikes around Black Mountain. I particularly enjoyed getting out for some since bike rides - the scenery is beautiful! Thanks again!"

"We used the house for our son's wedding (at a local Vineyard) and hosted a group of people. We had many activities during our week stay taking us in and out of Asheville, but despite the 25-35 min drive, and the winding roads climbing up to the rental, we felt the remote location was exactly what we wanted and it proved to be just that. The drive into town is lovely and without difficulty. The climbing roads are not difficult, and for those not used to it provide a local experience to be enjoyed. The view from the deck is definitely the highlight to this rental and was our "entertainment" rather than tv/dvd's (provided). It was a blessing to sip our coffee in the morning and our wine in the evening while watching the hawks and other birds, or enjoying the sunrises and sunsets and clouds (Smokey Mountains) rolling in and out. It was pure nourishment for one's soul! The fall foliage must be breathtaking and we talked about returning during that season sometime just to enjoy it with that view. The house itself was clean and well stocked in most ways. The spacious master bathroom was wonderful on the main floor and the upstairs rooms, 2 of which have window air conditioning units, provided adequate comfort for our guests. There is room in the upstairs hallways if hosting a larger family or groups for air mattresses, which were provided, but not used. We loved that the house had both a den and family room, as well as a great washer/dryer in the basement to use. We did not use the pool table in the garage, but it was a nice area to be enjoyed for those interested. Thank you "Paradise Peaks" for a lovely stay."

  • Wonderful vacation!

"This was our third stay at the Heavenly Hideaway Cabin and we can't say enough about it. It is nicely appointed and rustic with lots of custom woodwork. We absolutely love it there and plan to come back. The cabin is always clean when we arrive. It is quiet, peaceful perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We really enjoy sitting on the back porch and listening to the birds. The first night of our stay we had an awesome storm hit that made for some great sleeping weather. The hot tub is quite inviting once the temperature starts to go down in the evening. We love taking walks around the property to see the cows and the pond. And we like to feed the chickens our scraps, they are such characters. The blueberries were extra tasty this year! I think this was our best visit so far because we had our visit planned out just right and knew what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go. We did just the right amount of sightseeing and just the right amount of relaxing! We highly recommend the hike up to Chimney is well worth the sore calves the next day. We found a great restaurant called Vinnie's...also well worth ride into town as it is away from all the touristy areas. Thanks for the great stay Janet :) Hope to see you again soon!"
