  • Our little cabin in the woods

"We enjoyed our stay at Blueberry Hill cabin. The cabin was very comfortable and welcoming. I came here with my 2 adult children so having 3 queen beds was a plus! The beds were comfortable too. Whoever sleeps in the upstairs loft will hear any movement downstairs though. The highlights were the wild turkeys that linger on the property and the hot tub on the back deck. We enjoyed a nice soak in the hot tub, listening to a pouring rain on the metal roof! And of course, nearby Asheville is one of our favorite places to visit! We would definitely recommend this place and hopefully will be back."

  • Cute cabin tucked away but close to it all

"We arrived around 8pm on Friday and Janet was so welcoming and flexible when we arrived! She had great recommendations for dinner close by as well as into Asheville, which was a quick, easy 15min drive. It was dark when we arrived, so we were amazed by the property the next morning, the farm, with cows and chickens, and landscaped areas we couldn't appreciate on our drive in. She and Jeff have maintained the natural feel of being on a mountain, but have taken great care to play up these features with the work they have done on the property. The cabin was perfect, stocked kitchen with the basics essentials (fresh eggs for breakfast and coffee) and since we were only staying the weekend, this was plenty. Very clean and well-maintained, you can tell she loves taking care of her guest and her homes. Porch was great to take in the peacefulness of nature with the rocking chairs and hot tub. We felt right at home in this cozy cabin and wish our stay could've been longer. Thanks Janet & Jeff for all you did and continue to do to make your guest feel comfortable away from home!"

  • Very Comfortable House in a Convenient Location

"My wife and I stayed here at the end of September, 2016, with our dogs and had a wonderful time exploring Asheville and the surrounding areas. First off, the place was very comfortable for us and felt like a nice place to relax with our dogs. The fenced in backyard was perfect for this. As far as location, it is really easy to get to anywhere in the Asheville area from this location. It was very close to the 146/26 exchange which made it easy for us to get to downtown, hiking trails, the Biltmore, Hendersonville, or anywhere else we wanted to go. Less than a 5 minute drive away was Biltmore Park and an Ingles for easy shopping for supplies. The road there isn't very walkable (no sidewalks), but there is a cute Mexican place (Mary's) right around the corner that has very authentic food...delicious! We stayed in one night with the pups, rented a movie, and cooked dinner. There is plenty of cookware, basic spices, and general supplies so we didn't have to buy anything except for the food we cooked. We would definitely stay there again if we travel to the Asheville area!"
