Nouveau à Lake Placid le marché locatif. Adirondack style de 3 chambres, 2 salle de bain maison. 8 personnes confortablement, principale a un lit king size, 2ème chambre a 2 lits jumeaux et la troisième chambre a un lit queen et 2 lits jumeaux. Les salles de bain ont été entièrement mis à jour et la cuisine a des comptoirs en granit et de nouveaux appareils en acier inoxydable. Un foyer au bois dans le salon et 2 foyers à gaz dans les chambres.

Ceci est une propriété familiale et conviviale, dans un quartier résidentiel, avec les propriétaires qui vivent à côté.
Propriété privée, environ 1 1/2 miles du centre du village de Lake Placid. Très pratique pour les sites olympiques, itinéraire ironman, sentiers de randonnée, des terrains de Horseshow.

We loved this home set in the woods . It was very cozy. The location was great Easy to get into town or to local attractions. House was well stocked with all the comfort of home.Loved the fireplace in the living room with rock chairs in front of it to enjoy the fire. Would highly recommend this home to an visiting the lake placid area 10/10

Authentic mountain feel a few minutes from downtown Lake Placid.

Very homie and peaceful cabin a little ways in the woods. The atmosphere and surrounding forest really made the experience memorable.

Great location,

Was a great place to stay, close enough to downtown for easy access and only 20 min to Whiteface. Plenty of space and beds for kids. Would look to stay again for ski season. The big fireplace was a nice touch as well as all the fireplaces in the rooms. It was -10F one night we were there so that came in handy!

We had a great time at the Pratt residence. It was perfect for 2 families to stay over a winter break. We cooked meals in the kitchen, used the fireplace, and the kids played in the snow. The residence is close to Whiteface for skiing. The owners were very attentive and kind.

Magical Mountain Retreat

Quintessential cabin in the woods with easy access to trails, close to sports facilities and just a few minutes drive to the village center. Combines so many rustic touches with modern conveniences. We love all the unique little touches. Lots of room and plenty of charm. Have stayed here before and hope to return.

48-hour getaway

Such a comfortable and welcoming home close to Lake Placid. Spent two days here with my son, his girlfriend, and my daughter. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were modern and lovely, and the fireplaces in the two bedrooms added a special charm. We hope we can return!

Clean, cozy nestled in the woods with grand fireplace

We had a wonderful time! Clean and cozy with a grand stone fireplace. The bathrooms are newly remodeled and very nice! The home is surrounded by trees, not far from town but it feels like you are in a remote outback setting, we loved it, thank you! 🤗

Second time we stayed.

A Gem. I challenge you to find best hosts, location and price. This is one of our best kept secrets. We go to lake placid 4-5 times a year, but always stay here when we go up with the in-laws. The house is spacious and the fireplaces are awesome. Great bathrooms and kitchen. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back again next year!

Charming cozy cottage!

We were visiting Lake Placid to watch a figure skating event at the Olympic Center. This was an incredible place for us to stay and be able to relax and enjoy after long days at the rink. It was so peaceful, relaxing, quiet and the perfect place for us. We had the wood burning fireplace going most of our time there which was the icing on the cake. We loved the separate spaces for the bedrooms and the updated bathrooms with the soaker jetted tub. We would not just highly recommend this place but would absolutely stay here again!

super charming

The place is so unique and charming. It's like a museum with tons of historical artifacts. We have enjoyed our stay very much. Super clean. Lots of space. lots of books and games. Close to all the attractions. There is a beautiful bathtub but not enough hot water to fill it up. Thats the only downfall. Plus I suggest to bring your own wood for the fireplace. We had a lot of problems burning their wood for some reason. It just would not flame up.

Hi Jolanta, You are the first person to state that about the bathtub, we are sorry to hear this and will certainly look into it. Also, we are sorry you found the wood to not burn well. We will check on that as we take care to always use dried hardwood in our fireplace and we would not want or expect renters to use their own wood. We're glad you enjoyed our home otherwise and found it clean and convenient.

Beautiful, welcoming Home

We stayed over Christmas, and the house was perfect for the 6 adults and a 6yr old! Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of silverware & all cooking needs. We used the kitchen everyday for dinner. There are two grocery stores within a 7 minute drive. Very close to snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and downtown Lake Placid. House sits back from the road, and has a very nice trail behind it! The fireplaces were all used and we had no issues at all with anything. Maps and 'things to do' books were provided and well used. If we come back to Lake Placid again, we would surely stay here. The beds were extremely comfortable for all of us, and everyone enjoyed the house!

Wonderful, Cozy Home

The photos don't do the house justice. It is such a nice layout and more open than it appears in the photos. Updated bathrooms and kitchen are great. The fireplaces make a HUGE difference. The one in the family room is wood burning and it is huge! You can also easily view the fire while making dinner and eating at the table. It was great to play games around the fire too. Then there are 2 gas fireplaces in the master bedroom and guest area (where the 3 beds are). They give off great heat and light. Nice ambiance. The master bedroom is really lovely with the fireplace, king bed and beams. It is a cozy log cabin feel. All the beds are very comfortable too (makes a big difference). The owners are close by and so helpful. We will definitely be back. We exclusively rent homes when we travel and this home is certainly one of the best we have stayed in.

A very special place!

We absolutely loved our time here. The house is much bigger than the photos show and it’s so comfortable. It is also so well stocked with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. There was never a moment where we didn’t have a utensil or something we needed to cook with. We spent 6 nights here for Christmas and the owners went above and beyond to make sure we had a very happy and special holiday. The fireplaces were such a nice touch, especially to warm up with after playing in the snow in the huge yard. We also loved exploring the trails in the back. We really connected with this house and the family that owns it and even though we live so very far from NY, we hope to make it back to make even more special memories. We can’t thank the Pratt-Lynch family enough for their kindness and welcoming home. We can’t recommend this property enough.

Everything was as advertised. House was clean and cozy. House was fully equipped with everything you could need, fully equipped kitchen, even a washer and dryer. We were fully satisfied and had a lovely time. Highly recommend .
