The house was great! Bedrooms were spacious. 3 full bathrooms was handy. Beautiful deck with plenty of chairs. Lower level was perfect for our older children. Great location! Easy walk to the private beach. Would definitely recommend!

Great ski cabin and vacation home

Recently stayed at Morgan’s lodge with 4 of my friends all in our early 30’s after we stayed at this same house 3 years ago. The location is perfect there is a shuttle/town bus that runs right to white face and runs almost directly by the house on the main road and drops you back off for free(we tipped the drivers). Also my friends and I enjoy the walk across the lake into town or you can walk around but is a 15 minute walk into the heart of town with great bars and restaurants. The house is perfect for our group with 4 bedrooms and a nice loft area and couch to sleep on. All the amneities needed and a fully stocked fireplace with firewood is hard to beat. We will definitelyy be staying again in the future. I do not have any conplaints and the only issue I saw mentioned above is the mailing of the key but that is a very minor convenience and Dawn makes communication very easy. Would recommend to any group.

perfect winter getaway

Dawn was very communicative and prompt with answers to questions before the stay. House was perfect clean organized with plenty of room.. great property awesome location. Our family enjoyed a couple days of skiing on the mountain and wandering the cute town of Lake Placid.. highly recommend!!!

Cozy and comfortable ski house. Hope to be back!

We had a nice stay in this nicely outfitted house—bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Showers had good water pressure. Heat worked well, and the place was cozy shortly after arriving. We enjoyed the fireplace and the sauna. Plenty of equipment to cook. Only surprise was no tea kettle. Quiet neighborhood.

We had a very pleasant stay, with the exception of an issue with the oven, which the owner seemed unaware of, and plans to address. Location and amenities were perfect for our needs.

Nice House

Our group liked the house. Great location and very comfortable. Communication with Dawn was good via email but not in the Vrbo app. The only gripes were there were no outlets in the upstairs bathroom and the mailing of keys back and forth in the era of smart locks was a minor inconvenience. The listing was accurate and we would probably rent again.

Location, location,location!

My family enjoyed staying at Morgan Lodge. It was a particularly hot week and we enjoyed swimming in mirror lake, walking around the lake, and hanging out on the deck. The lower level of the house stayed nice and cool. Kitchen is well equipped with items for cooking.

Great place to stay

Comfortable, clean, and convenient. We really appreciated being able to stay at Morgan Lodge. We used to rent a few houses down, but the house was sold so it was great to find a place in a similar location. Thank you for allowing us to use your home as our home away. Amy

Nice Location, Plenty of Space

We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed our trip in Lake Placid. The house was clean when we arrived and everything was provided in the house for our stay including towels, sheets, paper towels, kitchen utensils etc. There were plenty of bedrooms for our family and plenty of space with the main level and lower level. Nice added bonus was the basement kitchen area for additional space. The house is in a good location and very close to Mirror lake and a nice walking path/trail to downtown Lake Placid. A few things to note though and were a little surprised on with the house and listing. The house has a nice Adirondack feel and charm, but also needs a good amount of updating as the house felt dated especially in the kitchen area and bathrooms. There is no A/C in the house and normally wouldn't be a requirement but the weather was hot in LP and could have been more clear in the listing. The main level ceiling fans need repair/updating (1 about to fall off) and the main level bathroom has an issue with the water pressure and shower curtain. Certain kitchen appliances and accessories/pans were dated and could use updating. House is on the other side and across Mirror Lake Drive and not directly on the lake. All in all its a nice house and good location to Lake Placid and to other event areas. Good amount of space for an extended family but needs updating/modern touches.

Perfect location for exploring town or the mountains

Our first VRBO. It was perfect. Great location near town, but still quiet. Lots of space with all the amenities you could ever need. Very clean. Host communication was great. Hope to return next year.

Great summer weekend

The house is great and very spacious. There is more than enough room for 6 people. We were guys in our 30s and there to enjoy the nice weather and fish. We had a great time and would recommend. Communication with the host was also very good.

Great family trip and location.

Stayed for the 4th of July weekend. Could not ask for a better place and location. From grilling out on the deck to paddle boarding on the lake or walking into town, everything is close by. The fireworks are a short walk. Highly recommend.

Much bigger inside than it appears from outside. Very strong ADK theme which plays well in LP. Best part was location to the Village. Very walkable around Mirror Lake.

Peaceful Getaway

We thought at first that Morgan Lodge was directly on Mirror Lake with a view of the lake from the house, but quickly got over our error we had a lovely stay at Morgan Lodge. The home was spacious and comfortable. It was a quick walk down to the beach access area which had plenty of Adirondack chairs and the owner's guide boat available to us (even though we did not use it). The house was close to all we wanted to do, including the walking/running loop around Mirror lake and the boat tour on Lake Placid. There was a fire pit in the backyard with plenty of wood provided for our use. The street was quiet and wooded and close to the Cobble Hill trailhead. Dawn, the owner, responded immediately when we had questions.

Wonderful house in a great location!

Our family loves Lake Placid and Morgan Lodge is a wonderful place from which to explore the area. We enjoyed the views of trees and birds from the windows, the beach across the street, the canoe, the comfortable beds and furniture, the well stocked kitchen.... We hope to stay at Morgan Lodge again in the future!

Our house is perfectly located on across from the village but within walking distance. It is large enough for two families to vacation together but still have some separate space (and separate bathrooms).
