Lake Placid is a special place for any season. Voted by MSN as 1 of the 10 Best Outdoor Towns in America. Enjoy a beautiful home on Mirror Lake Drive in the heart of Lake Placid. This unique home has four bedrooms ( 3 private with closets, one opens to family room) three bathrooms, two kitchens, two wood burning fireplaces, private beach and a sauna.

The kitchens are well equipped for cooking and entertaining. Private Adirondack balconies and patio. Minutes from Whiteface Mountain, home of the 1932 and 1980 Olympics. Morgan Lodge is walking distance to the village of Lake Placid and sporting events.
More information:
The house is on Mirror Lake Drive.  It is on the corner of Beech Hill Circle and Mirror Lake Drive. It is across the street from the water but with our association beach directly across from us. We keep a canoe there for your use. The beach has a nicely graded sandy area with a very gentle slope  for kids. It is yours to use except for the hours of 4-6 pm when it is restricted to owners only.
Additional house information.
The master bedroom has a king size bed,
walk-in closet and private bath.  The second bedroom has a queen size bed,  walk-in closet
and hall bath. The third bedroom has twin beds and shares the third bath
with the futon room that has a queen size futon bed. This room opens out to the family room. There are two kitchens and two fireplaces.  All linens and some dry goods in the kitchen are also provided. There is a sauna. We are within walking distance to the village. Easy walk to everything.

The house was great! Bedrooms were spacious. 3 full bathrooms was handy. Beautiful deck with plenty of chairs. Lower level was perfect for our older children. Great location! Easy walk to the private beach. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful house in a great location!

Our family loves Lake Placid and Morgan Lodge is a wonderful place from which to explore the area. We enjoyed the views of trees and birds from the windows, the beach across the street, the canoe, the comfortable beds and furniture, the well stocked kitchen.... We hope to stay at Morgan Lodge again in the future!

Great family trip and location.

Stayed for the 4th of July weekend. Could not ask for a better place and location. From grilling out on the deck to paddle boarding on the lake or walking into town, everything is close by. The fireworks are a short walk. Highly recommend.

Our first VRBO. It was perfect. Great location near town, but still quiet. Lots of space with all the amenities you could ever need. Very clean. Host communication was great. Hope to return next year.

Location, location,location!

My family enjoyed staying at Morgan Lodge. It was a particularly hot week and we enjoyed swimming in mirror lake, walking around the lake, and hanging out on the deck. The lower level of the house stayed nice and cool. Kitchen is well equipped with items for cooking.

We had a nice stay in this nicely outfitted house—bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Showers had good water pressure. Heat worked well, and the place was cozy shortly after arriving. We enjoyed the fireplace and the sauna. Plenty of equipment to cook. Only surprise was no tea kettle. Quiet neighborhood.

Great summer weekend

The house is great and very spacious. There is more than enough room for 6 people. We were guys in our 30s and there to enjoy the nice weather and fish. We had a great time and would recommend. Communication with the host was also very good.

Lake time is the best time

We had a great stay at Morgan Lodge, the house was comfortable and well provisioned and is at a great location close to but just far enough outside of town. Dawn, the owner, was very responsive and friendly. The kids loved the downstairs living space. Wish we could stay all summer!

What makes this property unique

Our house is perfectly located on across from the village but within walking distance. It is large enough for two families to vacation together but still have some separate space (and separate bathrooms).
