Sí, la imagen del patio y el océano fue tomada desde el lanai del cuarto piso de nuestro edificio, un refugio hawaiano. La vista de las fuentes, los jardines y el océano es espectacular desde nuestra relajante casa de vacaciones.

Una vez que visite este hermoso complejo, verá por qué hacemos hincapié en la construcción de una ubicación. Cerca de todo en el complejo, pero lo suficientemente lejos como para no escuchar el tráfico de la playa.

Pequeños extras hacen mejores recuerdos. Nuestro estacionamiento asignado está en frente de nuestro edificio, muchos no lo están. El edificio uno está convenientemente ubicado cerca del edificio de administración, canchas de tenis y área de barbacoa. Ah, sí, estamos a solo unos segundos del área de la piscina, pero no tan cerca como para escuchar el ruido.

Nuestra casa hawaiana viene amueblada. * Tenemos una lavadora y secadora estándar, una cama queen y baño en el piso principal, una cama king y baño en el área de loft y un sofá cama queen en la sala de estar.

We enjoyed our stay at Kamaole Sands. The condo had everything we needed and the balcony was spacious and had a great view of the ocean. The grounds were beautiful and the complex was convenient to activities, restaurants and several beaches. The condo also had AC which is a must in July! Larry was awesome to work with. Highly recommend!

loved the proximity to the beach and easy to find eateries, coffee. etc....the beds were comfortable. Thank you for providing beach chairs and towels.. that was an extra that was appreciated . we would stay again

Great Location and Condo

Our family had a great time in Maui. The condo had everything we needed for our family of five. The lanai easily accommodated all of us at the table and there was also a lounger. All lanais are not same size in this complex so do your research. Our host was great with all communications. This unit is closest to the courts if you like tennis and pickleball.

Beautiful View

We had a fantastic stay here in April, 2025 for 11nights. My favourite part of the unit was the view from the lana'i. You're not right on the water, but you can see the ocean in the distance, and the wonderful gardens of Kamaole Sands. The lana'i is large (many units have smaller ones), and has great seating for a family.We found the unit well suited for our family of 5 with one child using the pull-out bed (our children are ages 10-12yrs old). Many places only have seating for 4 at their dining tables, but this place has seating for 6. Some aspects of the unit are dated (like the kitchen sink), but it has many other features (like air conditioning!), and everything was clean. There was a good selection of kitchen dishes, pots, etc. and some spices for us to use. There are also lots of fans if you don't want to use the air conditioning.The unit is in building one, which is close to the front desk building and tennis courts. The pool is a short walk away, but not visible from the unit. We also couldn't hear much noise from the pool either. Fountains run in the day and evening, which also provides some white noise. There is an elevator to get to the 4th floor.We had an issue with the front door lock, but the host was very prompt at responding, & has since had it replaced. Our kids loved the pool, & we loved that it had some shade for the deck chairs. Overall, a great stay!

Great stay!

Our family with two little kids stayed had a great time. We really loved the close access to the beach (quick walk down path and across street), walkability to coffee shops and restaurants/shops, beautiful views of ocean and sunset from the lanai, pool and grill amenities, and beautiful grounds. We also really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, and toys! It made for a very nice stay. Minor critique is that the upstairs mattress could use upgrading. Overall, we would like to return!

Amazing location

Kihei is a great spot in Maui and this is the perfect spot in Kihei. You can see the beach and walk to the beach with the wagon, chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels provided. The building you stay in is by the pickle and tennis courts and also where you sign up for them making it perfect for the activity. I am so looking forward to coming back.

A perfect family vacay

Can’t say enough about how much we loved our stay! The condo was perfect for us. The beds were so comfortable even the pull out! The proximity to the beach and resort amenities made it an unforgettable trip! Will be back!

Perfect Location

Our stay started off on a rough note. To the surprise of the owner, manager and us the unit was getting a new roof installed the day we checked in. Manager was great and offered to help us any way possible including moving to a different building. We may it work with the noise and just stayed away from the unit most of the days. We came back in the late afternoon and construction crews were gone. As far as the actual unit itself, it was perfect for us. Updated bathrooms, huge patio, air conditioning, and plenty of room for the family. We will definitely reach out again when we return to Maui.

Kamaole Sands is a favorite for all! This condo was clean and fully stocked with what we needed. Larry was an amazing property manager with great communication for any of our needs. Highly recommend! We will be back again!!!

Fantastic maui location

We had some difficulty with the room code but it was resolved. Only suggestion would be to make it clear who else has the code on late arrival. We are new to vrbo so partly our fault. Overall this is an amazing place with all things needed. Beautiful view. Great place. Comfy beds. Lots to do.

Perfect family spot

The place was perfect for our 1-kid family with the grandparents along. Super location - kid-friendly beach right across the road with good snorkeling as well. Easy walking distance to many shops/eats. The condo complex had a nice pool with 2 hot tubs (one for adults only which was relaxing). A little thing, but a great bonus, was the folding wagon for taking the supplied beach toys across the street :)

Fabulous view of ocean and grounds

We enjoyed our stay at the Kamaole Sands, this is our 3rd time to Maui, we’ve only stayed at the Kamaole Sands. We’re happy staying here, the Kamaole 3 beach across the street is great. This is the first time seeing insects, not a serious problem but our first time ever. Our host Larry, awesome to deal with and always quick to answer questions and concerns! Thank you Larry! The grounds here are just beautiful and never disappoint!

Relaxing time

We had a great stay in this condo. Larry was great to deal with, responded quickly to any of my messages and the check in was super easy and seamless. The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We can’t wait to go back!

We recently purchased our condo, plan on visiting several times a year and investing in an already wonderful vacation home. We wish we could be in Maui year round. Until then, we hope you enjoy our home as much as we do and make many wonderful memories here.

We were immediately attracted to Kamaole Sands with it's beautiful courtyard, the casual, beach town feel of Kihei, fabulous beach just steps from our front door with frequent sea turtle sightings. Our condo in building 1 offers the best ocean view with an extra large lanai. Just a few minutes away in Wailea, we also enjoy walking on a beautiful path along the beach in the mornings and restaurants with spectacular views in the evenings.

1. New air conditioning throughout the unit August 2019.
2. Reserved parking just steps from the elevator. Nice when unloading.
3. Building well situated between ocean, pool, tennis courts and administration bldg.
4. Barbecue area right next to our building.
5. Large lanai with a partial ocean view and nice view of fountains.
