Found out after that the sensor at the door was low battery so had to change it while we were all waiting outside for maintenance to fix it.

If you want to just relax there were multiple pools to choose from including the one at the house! Our only big negative was that the pool was not clean, when we called for service on it they came but did not actually vacuum the dirt out. So in our opinion that was never resolved. The dishwasher still had dirty utensils in it and the upstairs main shower didn’t appear to have been cleaned. Nevertheless we had a wonderful time and would still recommend this location.

Great place

The place was clean and ready when we arrived. We did, however, reach out to the property manager several times to see about adding a day to our stay and no one ever got back to us. This was very frustrating as we were coming in from out of town and a lot of things needed to be changed if we were going to add another day. So, we had to wait until the last minute to confirm our itinerary as we were waiting for a response. Would definitely recommend the resort but there are plenty of cottages to rent so we probably would not rent this particular one again simply because of the property manager being unresponsive.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been renting cottages at Margaritaville for years. This year we really noticed the north side of the properties needing to be power washed or paint touch up - they look dirty and kind of run down. And the pool/ hot tub tiles really need deep cleaning. This particular property has nice comfortable furnishings, and everything worked properly. However, the linens were horrible. We actually ran to Target and bought sheets and beach towels to use during our stay. The beach towels were so thin and used I am not sure goodwill would accept them as a donation. The pool and hot tub wasn't heated,several calls to VStays management kept arguing that it was on, we needed to "give it time to warm up". When they finally agreed to come they admitted wasn't turned on. So we lost a full day of the pool/hot tub. I believe the issues we encountered were more a fault of the management company rather than the owner?!? Overall the property is ok, but the management needs to upgrade new linens, and work on the appearance of the property. I am hoping they address the wear and tear on these properties or I will have to look for another facility for our future visits.

The home was well-appointed and comfortable. Sadly we had to be relocated due to an air conditioning issue. The kids were disappointed as they loved their "private" loft area space. But we understand things happen. Hope to visit again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I wanted to stay at Margaritaville because of the private pool and all the amenities that came with the resort. We chose a 3 bedroom cottage with a private pool and hot tub. From the beginning, we had an issue with being overcharged which was resolved prior to arrival. The unit was clean and as described. However it was barebones as far as cooking utensils. The dryer didn’t work so we were unable to do much of our laundry (towels, mainly). They did bring us extra towels bc of this. The master sink was clogged. Many units have a bbq grill. Ours, unfortunately, did not. Overall, the resort is nice and the cottage is too but could use a little maintenance. I would suggest placing bbq grills at all units. The staff was very nice and accommodating considering our dryer could not be fixed during our stay. I love the ambiance of the resort.

Our 3 kids loved having our own pool, so much that we only went to main pool one time. The cottage is nicely decorated and has plenty of space for everyone.With the cottage being self sustaining, be prepared to have your own toiletries, laundry soap (you'll need it), dishwasher tabs, and dish soap. You are given a welcome kit, but it won't last if you are there more than 2 days. We have stayed before, so we were prepared knowing this, but there is a Target and Dollar Tree, close by if you need to grab some essentials. The unit does need a broom or vacuum to clean/vacuum up the floors and a kitchen towel should be provided as well. Overall, amazing place and we are looking forward to coming back in the future.

Cottage away from home

Loved the atmosphere!!! House was everything we expected and more. Only issue we had was that someone had an Egg-roll fight in the pool prior to our arrival. There was cabbage and carrots, parts of wrap floating in the pool and all over the deck. We had to request 2x for a proper cleaning. Would stay again however !
