Home Details:
Three level 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home on Forest Road in Vail (2280 sq. feet) with views of Vail Town and Gore Range. Master bedroom situated on 3rd level features king size bed and a half bath. Master bathroom is located on the 2nd floor. Guests bedrooms located on the first-floor feature king size bed with en suite bathroom and queen size bed with additional bathroom. On the 2nd floor, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and dining room opens into a large living room with balcony access. Living room features gas burning fireplace, work space and queen size sleeper sofa. Small loft that sleeps 1 person is also accessible from the living room. Outdoor hot tub and BBQ grill are available for guest use. Maximum home occupancy is 8 people.

We loved our stay! The host was very nice and quick to respond. It was a great location to the vail village gondola! The road to get to and from the house is a bit steep. So if you don’t have a car just be prepared to get a good walk in!

Great property in a perfect location for our annual family ski vacation. Fully furnished and stocked with everything we needed for a full week on the mountain, not one thing was missing. Parking for 2 vehicles right in front of the house, yes in Vail, Hot tub, grill, washer & dryer, board games, wifi, ect.... Easy access to both Lionshead and Vail Village via Forest road. Highly recommend for families looking for extra room or anyone looking for a home away from home. We will return.

Pet friendly?

The place overall is decent, somewhat outdated but still decent. The exterior and grounds need significant updates. Pet friendly is really not the case. There isn’t anywhere on the property for pets to be outside or go to the bathroom. The deck area is nice and secluded but in need of repair. It was dirty and the outside furniture was as well.

Hi Jason, Thank you for your feedback. Yes, 3 bedroom home on 224 Forest Rd is an older property, however we take pride in providing excellent cleaning services to our guests. I personally inspected the house few hours prior to your arrival and made sure that everything is clean and tidy, including the outdoor deck, therefore it is little confusing to me that you found the outdoor are dirty. House is surrounded by pine trees from which a lot of pine cones fall on the ground at all times. That might have the desk look like a dirty one to you, but I am not sure. Yes, we advertise the house as pet friendly, as we in fact accept pets in this property. Even though the property itself, just like most of homes on Forest Rd, doesn't have much outdoor space (as clearly shown on the photos), the whole neighborhood offers large area to walk dogs and direct access to Vail Mountain summer trails is literally 5 min walk away from the house. I hope this explanation helps other guests to understand what we mean by Pet Friendly. I will make sure to address the remarks about needed updates to the exterior, so they can be taken into consideration by the ownership. Thank you again for staying with us this summer!

This home is conveniently located steps from the Village so it was an easy walk for our family to and from dinners. The three bedrooms accommodated our five family members comfortably. The home needs a little TLC but overall was a perfect spot for our 4th of July vacation. We brought our dog Blue and that made it that much more fun for us! This home is a great gathering place for family and friends.

We absolutely loved staying here! We were wowed by the shear wonder of the surrounding area and the house. We had a problem with the hot water the first day and it was fixed so the next day. The house has everything you need! It was so amazing it was hard to leave for outdoor adventures! We loved the hot tub! And all the amenities that one would need when away from home. The parking was perfect for two cars! Great location!

Safe family get-away!

Our 4 night stay at this beautiful Vail home was beyond perfect! Aside from being a bit dated, the home provided all that we needed or could ever want! It was ideal for our family to gather safely during this pandemic and enjoy down time and home cooked meals. Our check-in was seamless and contactless. Our host was responsive, professional and helpful. The location could not be better! The home is within walking distance to the gondola, Vail Village and located in a gorgeous residential community.
