Fabulous stay and amazing host

We honestly feel so lucky to have found this apartment. Lorenzo was so helpful, giving us a lot of advice and helping us book a taxi on the last day. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again and recommending it to others. The location was so close to all the main attractions. Of particular note is the lovely balcony, a perfect sun trap to enjoy a bottle of wine in the evenings. Stay here, you’ll love it!

Great property and service

The property is really well maintained, the owners were able to modernize an old building without losing some of the classic character. Everything was as advertised and the service to assist us during the entire stay was above and beyond what's expected. Would definitely recommend and consider staying again on our next visit to Florence.

Had a wonderful weekend in Florence at Mattone. The apartment was clean, in a wonderful location and just as pictured! Lorenzo was super helpful and make the check in process and our stay seamless.
