Amazing accommodations, sunsets and memories!
We had an amazing stay. The house was spotless clean, beautiful and had amazing views of the sunset. The home owners made sure that guests would be left wanting for nothing. While in Cape May we spent a good amount of time at the house because it was just that amazing! We highly recommended staying here for your visit. We feel in love and would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Thanks for the kind words. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We have so many pictures of the sky, dolphins and sunsets! Watching the sun disappear never gets old. Our house and the views are the reasons we are looking forward to retirement!
Fabulous. Home was perfect in every way.
This beach house can teach all wanna be beach houses how to be the best. beach house. ever!
My family and my sister's family stayed for the week, we had a great time in this beautiful home. I never stayed on the Bay before, it was very quiet, relaxing and the sunsets were awesome!
Would definitely stay again!
We built that home for that exact reason! It is peaceful, relaxing, has a private beach with amazing sunsets! I am glad you had a great week. My wife and I are looking forward to retiring there (in a few years!)
So relaxing, with a really good view
We had a wonderful week here. The house is set up so nicely - open floor plan with well-stocked kitchen and relaxing sitting and tv room, all with big windows for view of the bay! The deck wraps around most of the house, and we spent a great deal of time watching the sun come up and go down out there. The rooms upstairs are large and can each easily accommodate a family with a couple of young kids. The downstairs room is smaller, but still has a good-sized bed and its own bathroom. There's plenty of parking on the driveway (we fit 3 cars easily). The owner was easily accessible via text or phone if we needed anything. Location is quieter than "downtown" Cape May, but that's what we were looking for. The beach across the street is free and was never crowded, even in mid-July. No waves, which was great for toddlers to explore/play. We went to Cape May for dinner and to their beaches a couple of times (10-minute drive) for variety. Best of both worlds! We will be returning for more of those sunsets. Thank you for sharing your home!
Some of New Jersey's finest dining is here in Cape May: Tisha's, 410 Bank, Washington Inn, Blue Pig, Oyster Bay, Lobster House, Ebbitt Room, and the Pier House, for example. Just down the street is one of our favorite restaurants in Town bank, 5 West, a great place to go with friends and unwind. Then, of course, is Harpoon Henry's, two blocks down the road! Your typical beach bar!
There are so many fabulous sights to see in Cape May like the famous Cape May Light House, WWII Monument, Emlen Physic Estate, Cold Spring Village, the Wineries, Congress Hall, and the Cape May Zoo, just to name a few.
Some other activities visitors like to do are many different water sports if you want adventure! There is also whale watching and bird watching at Coastal Heritage Park. One of our favorite things to do every once in a while is to take a carriage ride through Victorian Cape May or take a trolley ride through town. If you choose to do so, you can hear about our history, some ghostly tales of the past, or just decide to take a romantic ride through town.
At times though, it's nice to just relax at the beach!
