A Perfect Stay in Port St. Charles

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hidden gem in Port St. Charles. From the moment we booked, Allan was the perfect host—gracious, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. He answered all our questions promptly before our arrival and even stocked the place with breakfast essentials, which was such a considerate touch—especially since the next day was a holiday and most shops were closed. We loved everything about our stay in Port St. Charles! Allan was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The check-in process was easy, and the condo had everything that we needed...and then some. The condo was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Excellent Experience

The property has three bedrooms each with an ensuite which was perfect for our group of six adults. Upon arrival the owner greeted us and answered all our questions. The excellent beach is a short walk or you can use the free water taxi. At the beach there are plenty of free chairs and umbrellas with an attendant to set everything up. The infinity pool has a swim up bar. The onsite restaurant is a short walk and is very good. The property is clean, well equipped and looks like the pictures. The owner was readily available during our stay. We had a great experience.

Thanks so much Allan! The only problem with writing an excellent review is other people will rent when we want to go back! It will become even more popular! On the plane going home now- I would definitely rent again. To make this real I will post one criticism. The coffee maker is a French press. While other countries may enjoy that it is hard making coffee for a family of 7- too small. Delicious but small. So Allan please get a drip coffee maker (but if you do not we will still rent again!). Thank you for sharing your villa with us!

Private Paradise

Barbados hosts the most consistent and wonderful weather of anywhere we have been. If you want a very quiet gorgeous beach this is your place. We were blown away by some local restaurants. Plenty of room and privacy in this villa to accommodate us all. The plunge pool was an unexpected saviour on days we chose to stay close to home. We do plan to return.

Beautiful!

Our family of 4, including a 9 and 13 year old, had a fantastic vacation here! The unit is beyond spacious, extremely clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and we enjoyed our meals on the back patio overlooking the harbour. In the evenings we loved the sunset view from the second floor balcony. My youngest spent a good amount of time in the plunge pool and my oldest loved kayaking to the 2 beaches and snorkeling on the reef off one of the beaches. Port St Charles itself feels extremely safe and is absolutely beautiful, the landscaping is gorgeous and the harbour water is so blue! We even had a family of turtles off our dock. We rented a car and enjoyed exploring this wonderful island and walking into the nearby town of Speightstown. Allan was also a very pleasant and accommodating host; there was even a starter package of food when we arrived and he checked in during the vacation to ensure everything was going well. 5+ stars!

Amazing!

We had an absolutely wonderful time here! The unit is very spacious (with tons of closet space) and the kids really enjoyed the plunge pool on the deck. The view from the 2nd-floor balcony is lovely and we liked sitting there on warm breezy nights (typical of Barbados). The place is very well stocked with lots of cooking necessities, towels, pillows, laundry detergent, a highchair, etc. Allan kindly left us a starter package of food, which was much appreciated and provided us with our first day's breakfast. Port St. Charles is a lovely, quiet resort and we love the tranquility of the 2 beaches and the warm ocean water. We rented a car while there and enjoyed day trips around the island. As always (this is our 4th trip here), the people of Barbados are some of the friendliest people we've ever met and we enjoyed lots of conversations with locals while touring the island. I can't recommend Barbados and PSC enough!

Execellent atmosphere and accomodations in a beautiful and private setting

Barbados is an amazingly beautiful island and on the west coast the beaches are pristine, the water is clear and calm, and the sunsets are stunning. The Spinnaker is a wonderful three story villa in a gorgeous private yacht club which offers excellent service in a peaceful and delightful family atmosphere. We loved the privacy and our host was very accommodative. At night, we had clear skies blanketed with stars and were entertained by shooting stars clearly visible from the dock directly behind the villa. We kayaked our way to the pool and took a water taxi to the beach and restaurant for lunch. I highly recommend this location for young families or couples looking for a serene getaway.

Perfect Villa in a Perfect Location

The villa caters for all needs & the host is very welcoming & accomodating to individual needs. Port St Charles is a great place to be.... It is secure, clean & very peaceful. It also has great amenities including a water taxi (whihc the children loved!) to take you between your villa & the amazing beach (sun loungers available on request) or either of the 2 pools - one being at the Yacht Club where food/drink is also available. There are lots of good places to eat out - all expensive so be prepared .. but then so is the supermarket shop. All-in-All a fantastic week - thank you.

Exquisite!

Words cannot express how wonderful our stay has been. Allan is extremely helpful and called us to make sure we had everything we needed. The property and grounds are gorgeous. Great winter getaway

My husband and I stayed at spinnaker for a week in January. Both the large and small beach were beautiful. The view of the marina lagoon from the property is very nice. You can see fish and turtles from your patio. We had several lunches at the yacht club and ventured off the property for sunset cocktails and dinners. There are many delicious restaurants in speightstown and holetown. Allan was a great host. He met us at the property, supplied us with a welcome package (coffee, tea and breakfast items), gave us directions (it was our first time on the island) and made sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation and a comfortable stay. Both the villa and island were beautiful and we can't wait to return! Thanks for your help Allan!

You couldn't want for more...

We have just stayed in this exceptionally serene and beautiful property for a week and had to force ourselves out when our time was up. It is the kind of place you feel at home the instant you arrive and are taken care of from start to finish. stunning villa on the marina

Just got back to the UK after an amazing stay in port st Charles. Allan was a fantastic host and could not have been more helpful, organising a crib and highchair for our daughter. the villa is beautiful, fully fitted kitchen with all the equipment you'll need. laundry room with huge American style top loader machines. Great wifi throughout the villa was a bonus and was useful for keeping the kids entertained during the midday sun. spent Many a hour on the terrace with the kids playing in the pool and we also rented a paddle board which we kept on the marina. I thoroughly recommend port st Charles for anyone considering Barbados as its a private Marina community with excellent security, great beaches, the Yacht club with a swim up bar and great food. five stars all the way. we will be back next year

Exceeded Our Expectations

Port St. Charles offers the best beach in all of Barbados. As we were there during spring break, we expected a crowded beach. Instead, it was an empty and serene setting -- with warm, still waters that allowed us to swim with no worries. Oh, and did we mention the really cool turtles? Although the water taxi is a value add, the villa is conveniently located and equidistant to the beach, pool and yacht club/restaurant. It is meticulously clean, with modern dĂ©cor. And traveling with four teen girls, the en suite bathroom in each bedroom was a welcome relief. In the evenings, we enjoyed hanging out on the deck with frozen pina coladas (yes, the villa comes with a great blender) and the dipping pool. There is Wi-Fi (which kept the seven of us connected) and the living room has a smart TV, allowing you to stream Netflix from your phone. Also, the washer and dryer worked great, the AC did the trick at night and the beds are VERY comfortable. More importantly, we enjoyed the privacy and security of the development, and felt safe in the surrounding area. Port St. Charles provides chairs and umbrellas free of charge, as well as a concierge to help you plan any activities. Be sure to connect with Phil of Wreckers and Divers, (scuba diving) and to flag down Edmo on the beach for some water activities, including water-skiing. In general, Allan was wonderful to work with and extremely responsive when booking and during our stay. Although, we did not experience any issues with the villa or Port St. Charles, here are a few things to remember: It is very, very expensive to eat out – no matter where you go. If traveling with kids, we recommend you go grocery shopping before traveling and pack two or three small suitcases with basic staples like boxed milk, cereal, tea/coffee, drinks, snacks, lunch items like PB&J, mac & cheese, etc. We did and it allowed us to save several hundred dollars. You do not need to rent a car if you plan on staying Port St. Charles bound as there is plenty that is accessible by bus, with food shopping and restaurants right in Speightstown (where Port St. Charles is located). We rented a car but needed one that seated seven. These vehicles are far and few between. So, be sure to reserve a vehicle, especially a larger one, as soon as you book your trip. Try Top Car rentals; they met us at the airport and drop-off at the airport was just as convenient. We plan on returning.

Wonderful holiday in first class property

We have just returned from a month in beautiful Barbados, our first 3 weeks staying at Spinnaker in Port St Charles which proved to be beyond our expectations, when we walked into the property it was a wow to see all the water and boats which was amazing, everyday it just got better as we discovered the beach very close by and then saw turtles on a regular basis, we even had one visit our pontoon outside one morning while eating our breakfast. We visited some wonderful restaurants nearby including Jumas, The Fish Pot and 1359 at Port Ferdinand, the Yaucht Club for lunch was wonderful as we used the water taxi which was always available to take us to the beach or pool if we were too lazy for the short stroll through the beautiful grounds of Port St Charles, we always felt very safe as the security was first class. We couldn't fault anything and found the owner to be very helpful with any queries we had during our stay, we would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone and can't wait to go back next year hopefully for longer.
