Welcome Home Travelers! Are you looking for a quiet home base for your family after a long day of sight-seeing in Paris? Do you need space for up to 6 and want to keep everyone together while on vacation? Please look no further and consider our family home in Paris!
This loft apartment has an open, airy floor plan with a separate spacious living area with a large balcony on one side, and the bedroom/bathroom areas in the back area of the apartment. The apartment features three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a shower, one with a bath/shower combo), one separate toilet room, and two balconies - one off the main living area, and another off one of the bedrooms. The apartment is located on the 5th floor in a building with an elevator (lift).
BEDROOMS: There are three bedrooms all located on the back half of the apartment, separated by a door from the main living areas. The master bedroom is in the middle with a queen (160 x 200) bed; a second bedroom has two twin beds which can be combined into one large bed if needed; a third bedroom with a queen bed which has its own private balcony and an en-suite shower room with a sink/vanity area and shower stall. All bedrooms have views of Sacre Coeur Basilica.
BATHROOMS: The home has two bathrooms and one toilet room. The main bathroom and toilet room are located off the hallway in the back section of the apartment where the bedrooms are located. All bedrooms can access the main bathroom and shower room without disturbing other guests. The main bathroom has a full-sized bathtub with shower attachment, and a large sink/vanity area. The toilet room is separate and next to the main bathroom. The third bedroom has an en-suite shower room, with a shower stall and sink/vanity area. Toiletries including hand soap, bath gel, shampoo and toilet paper are provided for guests.
LIVING AREAS & GENERAL LAYOUT: The apartment has a very open design with the main family room open to the dining room and open kitchen. As you enter the apartment, the kitchen is directly in front of you and the main living/dining areas and large balcony are to the left. To the right of the entryway are the bedrooms and bathrooms and laundry closet.
DINING AREA: This is a wonderful apartment for meals with family and friends! The dining area has seating for 8. Extra chairs are available, including ones for children. The balcony table also offers seating for 4 guests.
KITCHEN: The kitchen is well-equipped with a full-sized oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, toaster, microwave, plus pots, pans, knives, silverware, plates/dishes, wine glasses and more. Coffee, spices, and other basic cooking supplies are stocked in the home, and food shopping is a breeze with Franprix around the corner on rue Dunkerque and the weekly fresh food market on Friday around Square d'Anvers park.
LAUNDRY CLOSET: In the hallway in the back side of the apartment, there is a closet holding a clothes washing machine and a separate tumble dryer.
NEIGHBORHOOD: Within a 10-minute walk, discover the wine and cheese shops, restaurants and market atmosphere of rue des Martyrs, a fabulous market street described in a New York Times article as "a slice of village life" that will "satisfy that perennial desire for discovery." If you would rather walk to the north, enjoy the village of Montmartre, known for the legendary artists who once called it home, and tiny, picturesque streets that transport visitors imaginations to Paris' rich past. It’s always a treat to wander around, visiting Sacre Coeur cathedral and the two remaining windmills perched up high on the hill.
FAMILIES: This is a family home and has all you need if you are traveling with children! We have a large crib (120 cm) suitable for children to 3-4 years old and a high chair. We have toys and children's tables for playing. You can make good use of the park with a children's play area just around the corner at Square d'Anvers. Parents can take a break on a bench and take in the view of Sacre Coeur while the kids work off a little excess energy. And should you want to go to the much larger Jardin de Luxembourg across town, just pick up the 85 bus and it will take you right to it! The merri-go-rounds at the top of rue des Martyrs, at Place des Abbesses and at the base of Sacre Coeur are also a hit with kids.
APARTMENT COMMUNITY: We respect our neighbors and enjoy living in our very calm building. We aim to rent to respectful travelers who understand they will become a temporary part of this lovely Parisian neighborhood. This is our home: No parties or events of any kind, please!
RATES & LENGTH OF STAY: We favor longer rentals and respect our neighbors. We prefer a one-week minimum (7 nights). Rates are more advantageous for longer stays.
We look forward to welcoming you to Paris on your upcoming trip!

Paula Caballero purchased this apartment in 2010
The owners chose this apartment after looking very actively for a long time because of the sunny and quiet balcony, which was very hard to find in the 9th arrondissement. They always lived in this part of Paris and didn't want to leave!
The owner's favorite things in the apartment are the balcony and the open kitchen/bar area. That's where they hang out all the time when having friends over. They also really enjoy seeing the Sacré-Coeur from the master bed! They like the vibe and the restaurants and cafés in the area, and the view over Paris from the top of the hill.
This spacious and light 3 BR apartment in the 9th Arrondissement is a bargain compared to the other flats that we investigated. It's conveniently located a short walk from the Sacré Cœur and Anvers Metro and is around the corner from grocers, pharmacies, and a park with a Friday market. Paula and her management team provided excellent care of all our needs. The only negative is the weak wifi router signal that reaches only the front room. We would definitely consider returning to this or one of the other Frenchy Reality apartments in Paris.
This is the 2nd apartment in the 9th arrondissement we have rented from Paula and once again she showed unexcelled personal attention. The apartment has excellent natural lighting as a result of having many windows and skylights plus being on the 5th floor and the elevator is modern, roomy and very fast compared to most others.
Some of our favorite bistros, such as Bouillon, Comptoir Canailles, Les Arlots and Braisenville are within a 5 min. walk, plus there is a real farmers market every Friday afternoon at the Square d'Anvers which is 2 mins. away. There is a very good boulangerie on the corner of Rue Rochechouart and 3 wine stores near by. You can have your choice of metro, bus or taxi, close by on Blvd. Rochechouart to whisk you anywhere in Paris plus the Gare du Nord is a 9 min. walk if you want to come or go by way of London. Ave. Trudaine is a lovely walk between the apt. and the rightfully famous Rue des Martyrs with all of its specialty shops.
The kitchen is a joy, large, well lit and equipped and open to the spacious living and dining area which features a long balcony for dining or tippling in nice weather. In addition one bedroom has a small balcony and all 3 have a good view of Sacre Coeur which is about 6 blocks up the hill of Montmartre.
Privacy is assured as all 3 bedrooms are on the opposite side from the common area separated by a short hallway with its own door and there is a separate bathroom at each end of the apt. with a w/c in between. Each room has its own electric heater if the weather turns chilly and we found them very efficient.
All in all a most satisfactory rental and Paula's personal service is the cherry on top.
Great location and well equipped for a family with young children. We rapidly felt at home!
Ahhh Paris! What a fantastic city made even better by where we stayed.
Paula met me upon arrival and walked me through the very spacious flat. All the amenities you could possibly need - two bathrooms, three bedrooms, laundry, nespresso, dishwasher etc. The flat is lovely. Clean, bright and has lots of room. The weather was great and we spent some time on the balcony off the main living space. Did you forget your maps? or travel info? No worries. Paula has you covered. She has a mini-library with everything you need.
The flat is located in the 9th arrondissement - an area I was unfamiliar with. Everything you need is within walking distance. The fromagerie, the boulangerie, and most importantly the wine shop! We did not have time to venture out to the neighbourhood restaurants but there are lots of options. We walked to all the major Paris attractions and when we were tired we'd hop on the metro or into a taxi.
The flat is less than a five minute walk to the metro and a taxi stand which is right around the corner on Boulevard de Rochechouart and Rue de Rochechouart.
What started as a vacation turned into work and the flat continued to work for us. The wifi was reliable (though a bit weaker in the bedrooms). It was roomy for my work team and most importantly for us was the ability to close the door between the sleep area and the living area allowing for people to rest at odd hours.
I'd rent this flat again in a heartbeat and have recommended it to friends and family.
Near the Square d'Anvers with its weekly fresh food market, a few minutes' walk to Montmartre and Sacre Coeur Basilica, as well as less than a 10-minute walk to rue des Martyrs and wonderful food shopping in the 9th arrondissement. Great neighborhood restaurants, too!
