  • Fabulous Apartment in a Wonderful Location

"This spacious and exquisitely maintained apartment is located in the 11th Arrondisement but is really conveniently located to reach all of Paris easily. Bus 96 stops almost at the front door and connects you to stops on its way to the Gare Montparnasse in southern Paris. Metro Line 2 is a 2-minute walk. Metro line 3 is 5-minutes walk. You are less than one mile from Place de la Republique in one direction, same to Pere Lachaise cemetery in another, and one mile to Place Bastille in another direction. You can walk to the Louvre Museum in 30 minutes. You are only twenty-thirty minutes by Metro from all of the famous Paris tourist attractions. There are scads of restaurants of every type of food in every direction just minutes walk away. It is an eclectic neighborhood that gives you an idea of what modern, not touristy Paris, is all about. The landlord and her agent are just wonderful, warm, and very helpful people. They are very accommodating and knowledgeable, also. Neither speaks English; however, but that will not be an issue and you will still be able to check in. The apartment has two large bedrooms, each with a queen size bed (though one is a sleeper sofa type fold down). The bathroom is large and modern but there is no shower. The tub is big enough for two and is equipped with a spray nozzle meaning you have to kneel or sit in the tub to rinse off. Easy to use and very efficient. Lots of towels and sheets are provided. There is a well equipped and modern kitchen with a large refrigerator and real freezer. There is a four burner electric range with an oven. The living and dining area is large with windows that overlook the small square outside. You can sit at the dining table and watch a veritable parade of people of numerous cultures walk past every day, including samples of all of the latest fashions that Parisians are wearing today. This apartment is on the first floor so you will have to walk up about 16 steps but the steps are wide and easily managed. This apartment is perfect for everyone except someone in a wheelchair. I would definitely stay here again!"

  • A Perfect Apartment in Every Way

"What a comfortable and very pleasant week we spent in this roomy, light-filled, and very attractively decorated apartment. Located near the Luxembourg Gardens, one and a half blocks from the St Sulpice Metro, it is an ideal spot to enjoy all that Paris has to offer. For one's convenience, there are good restaurants, grocery stores, two boulangeries, an épicérie, and more nearby. Also, the property manager is very helpful if any questions or concerns arise. The beds are comfortable, there are two clean and nicely appointed bathrooms, and the kitchen has all that one needs to prepare a meal. From every room one has views looking out over the rooftops and beyond to Sacré Coeur, St Sulpice, the Pantheon etc We want to return as soon as possible!"

  • The perfect apartment in a fabulous location!

"This apartment was exactly what we wanted. It was just like the pictures, no surprises. Very clean, light and airy. That corner window in the ceiling was so charming! Philippe was great, very helpful. Why was this the perfect place? Let me give you a list! 1. Elevator. We have stayed in Paris before. We knew that the 5th floor is really the 6th floor to Americans. We knew it would be tiny, but it's better than walking up 6 flights after walking around Paris all day! An elevator is a must. 2. Great size! The two of us found this apartment to be spacious and just the right size. 3. Location! Holy cow, this was AMAZING. We felt like we were right in the heart of everything! It wasn't too cold yet, so we were able to keep the window open when we were "home." The sounds of the bustling city below were great! (But close the window and you hear nothing.) We wasted some time on the Metro to go to Notre Dame and the Louvre, not realizing how close they are to this apartment. We finally figured it out and walked to either location within 15 minutes or less. It was just wonderful! 4. The Square: right in the square, outside of the door, we found so many things we wanted! Restaurants (OMG go to O'Taco....yum), the fountain, a little grocery store, even McDonald's to save a few bucks and still get great coffee! 5. The notebook full of info: this was very helpful. It told us how to work the Euro appliances, where attractions were, just everything! 6. The Murphy bed: So comfy! We aren't tiny people, and we felt so comfortable in the bed. It is not a sofa bed, as mentioned, but I wanted to reiterate that. The couch ends up under the bed when you pull it down. It's a real, comfy mattress. We slept wonderfully! I did a lot of looking before booking a place to stay. Hotels were so much more expensive than this apartment. I don't know why anyone would choose that! We would without a doubt stay here again, if we ever make it back to Paris. I recommend it highly!"
