About Cathy Rosser
We (Rob and Cathy) live on Casper Mountain year round with our 3 kids and wouldn't have it any other way. We love skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling in the winter and hiking and biking in the summer. Rob was an Olympian in Biathlon and competed on the World Cup circuit for almost 16 years. Our main vocation is running the Casper Mountain Biathlon Club and operating the Biathlon Center located on Casper Mountain. We moved here for the fabulous skiing, Casper Mountain is a hidden gem - but we don't mind sharing the secret. We hope you enjoy a visit to Casper Mountain as much as we enjoy living here!

Perfect mountain getaway
My family and I loved everything about our stay. The drive up to the apartment took our breath away and the apartment is so cozy and quaint. It was slightly rustic yet has everything you could need. I loved the fact that there was no wifi and limited tv. It made our little family slow down and enjoy each other. The simplicity of it all was heaven. The owners took care of all of our needs and answered all questions. We can't wait to come back!
Perfect Place to Unplug and Relax
If you are looking to stay at the W in Chicago, it may not be your place. There is no cable or wifi. Unfortunately for me and fortunately for my son, we did get cell service! The rental has the feel of a cabin, not rustic or primitive but well-finished and cozy. It is clean and a great place to get away, play family games and just hang out. The views up and down the mountain are well worth it, and during the summer, I imagine the hiking trails would be incredible.
This location and property was ideal for a recent stay in the Casper area for a hunting trip for me and friends. Rob and Cathy were gracious hosts and we very much appreciated all the assistance that was provided. This is a beautiful area and I hope to return soon to wonderful windy Wyoming.
Mountain top getaway
Wildlife abounds, Casper Mt. Trails center a few hundred yards down the road, and a beautiful drive (if not a bit twisty) up and down the mountain makes this a great place to get away from it all in the Casper area. The Apt was designed around and above a detached garage so the floor plan is interesting but clean and comfortable. Unit is well stocked, and everything worked. The owner was a pleasure to work with. If you can survive without TV and internet, this is a great place to be off the grid. Highly recommend it.
This property was exactly as advertized and was a wonderful stay! The only problem we had was our transportation delay that made us late in getting up the mountain - the directions were great but I made it harder by doing them in the dark. But the cabin was so cozy and pleasant, and Cathy was quick to respond to any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants great views as well as to get away from it all. Fabulous experience!
Clean, comfortable, worked great for family of 6.
My wife, four kids (1-1/2 years old to 12 years old), and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It worked well for our needs. This was our first time using VRBO service. Cathy (owner) was quick to answer questions prior to arrival. She was very helpful and welcoming. We didn't spend a bunch of time at the cabin as we were visiting family. It was cheaper than staying at hotel and the location was great. Our stay was early in July, but based on distance from trails, it would be a great spot for a stay during winter months. I will definitely recommend to family and friends as well as anyone looking for a place to stay near Casper. Thank you Cathy, hopefully we get a chance to stay here again in the future.
