Loving Lakeside

We gathered together to celebrate a 77th birthday. We had a grand time swimming off the dock—lazing on floaties. The house was great—had bedrooms/baths we needed plus a family area with fabulous view of the lake. Plenty of outdoor decking made it a great place to hang out. We had a great time; owners were very nice and easy to communicate.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The home gave a cabin feel with a gorgeous view of the lake. Everything in the home was clean and comfy! The kitchen had everything you could think of to use for cooking and storing food while you are there. It was a quick little walk to the pier of the lake to enjoy a swim or just sit and take on the view. We would definitely recommend and hope to visit again one day.

Wonderful Stay

We stayed for just the weekend at Lake Anna and this place perfect for us. The home was clean, scenic, and conveniently located. Communication with the owners was a breeze. We would absolutely return on our next visit to Lake Anna.

Serene Retreat

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary. We both love to be on the water and in the woods; so this hit both marks beautifully. The cabin is top notch, the location is excellent, and the owners were highly responsive and accommodating. We look forward to booking this cabin again and feeling the tensions melt away as we soak up the serenity of this wonderful natural setting.

Great Experience!

Owners were very helpful, responsive and very kind! The place was amazing! Great location, extremely clean, great fishing and grocery store a short drive away which was very convenient! Next time we visit Lake Anna we will definitely stay here!

Great Weekend Getaway

Had the most wonderful time at this gorgeous lake property. Absolutely loved the views and beautiful scenery throughout the stay and could not recommend highly enough. Kim was incredibly helpful leading up to and throughout our stay. Will be very likely to stay here again in the future!

Convenient

I stayed at the house for work, but I can see where it would be a great place to stay for vacation. . It was very convenient for me. The house was very clean and well stocked. Kim was a willing to accommodate me in anyway, she could. She was a delightful hostess.

A Week of Good Times and Lasting Memories

Perfect weather and great views from deck and all rooms of the home. The house is exceptionally well appointed and cared for with all the modern appliances and conveniences. Location is convenient to grocery store, shops, and local restaurants. House sits on quiet no-wake cove off Coventry Creek, perfect for fishing (caught several large-mouth bass off the dock, boating, tubing, swimming, and kayaking. Hostess, Kim, was a delight to deal with and immediately responsive to all questions and requests. This was not our first time renting on the Lake but was certainly one of the most enjoyable. Definitely a best value property.

Perfect Lake House For A Family

The property met our needs well. The location on the lake in a protected cove met our needs perfectly. We were able to dock our boat with ease and the family was able to swim off the dock all week. We had a swim pad that we left in the water all week that our group enjoyed. The house had plenty of room and the kitchen was very well stocked. The air conditioning was very cold which we appreciated. The view of the lake from the deck and house was beautiful. Any correspondence with the owner were promptly responded to. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Beautiful lake house!

Owners are very accommodating! Very detailed with helpful instructions and advice. House itself is gorgeous and set up very well. We loved the gated community and the private boat launch made the trip super easy! Definitely recommend and we will be back in the future!

Great Lake House

This is a great Lake house with an amazing views. Every room in the house has a view of the lake. The house was very clean and well equipped. The bedrooms were all very nice. The kitchen was well equipped. The living room couches were really comfortable and the view is amazing. There is a nice grill on the deck . The dock is in a no wake zone and we really enjoyed fishing off it. The neighborhood was quiet for walking the dogs. The house is nestled among all the trees in a natural setting and a path and a set of steps lead you down to the lake. The host are responsive and nice to deal with. We had a wonderful long weekend and hated to leave.

Great stay!

We loved the beautiful house on a majestic spot on the lake. Fall was beautiful at lake Anna. The dock was a great bonus for fishing and our boat rental with the kids. The owners do a great job of making it a comfortable and lovely stay.

Wonderful place if you are ok with brining lots of supplies

We absolutely loved the house. It was perfect for our needs, and we all had a great time. Checkin and out was easy. It did, however, turn out to be quite inconvenient to have to bring sheets and towels and so many other supplies for just three nights, and then to have to haul away our trash after the stay and find a place to dump it (the suggested location to leave the trash didn't open until 10am and we left at 7 am.) Even though I loved the house, I'd suggest thinking carefully if you are up for having to bring so many things with you.

Nice but has issues

Location was fine. Considering the weekly rental rate is high, the property has the following issues: the owner does not have local trash pick-up service. Renters must take trash to collection facility. Meanwhile keeping trash bags on the porch brought flies as there were no trash barrels on the property. Roundtrip to trash facility was 30 minutes and car had to be sprayed with Frbreeze to counter the odor. Exterior lights are not all operational. Gutters are full of leaves and overflowed during the rain storm. Also, the deck and stairs had not been swept.

Relaxing Lake Anna Vacation

Lovely property on the shores of Lake Anna. Short shady walk to the lake. Nice dock with great swimming. Neighborhood was very quiet and the home spacious and had everything you need. We ate dinner every night on the deck looking out on the lake.

Perfect family vacation

We stayed for almost a week with young adult and older teen boys, a couple of their friends, and our dogs. The house is exactly as described, with an extremely well-appointed kitchen - we never ran out of dishes or pots and pans, which is an issue we’ve had with other rental properties. We had plenty of space for our.8 full-grown people to gather and eat or socialize inside or outside without feeling crowded. The 3 bedrooms and basement area also offered plenty of space for privacy. Our hosts communicated promptly and efficiently before and during our stay - we had a bumpy check-in day due to a power outage beyond anyone’s control, but Kim was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to get into the house and get comfortable as quickly as possible even though we arrived slightly early. Lake access was perfect for us - private dock in deep water on a quiet cove. For young kids or older folks the quantity and steepness of some of the stairs could be a challenge (our old dog was exhausted after a few days), but that’s really the only drawback I can think of.
