Welkom!

Bereid u voor om te ontspannen en weg te komen van alles, geniet van de natuur en het uitzicht dat erbij hoort vanaf het dek (of in de geweldige spa!) in deze ongelooflijk gezellige hut.

Kom genieten op een ongelooflijke bergrug. Geniet van spelletjes in de tuin, of ga eropuit en zie wat de 42 hectare bos met veel oude houtkaproutes te bieden heeft. We weten dat je een leuke tijd zult hebben als je naar beneden komt en blijft!

Met een bedruimte voor 5 personen en een extra luchtbed en een zeer comfortabele bank, is de cabine perfect voor koppels, gezinnen of bijeenkomsten voor maximaal 8 gasten.

Binnenkort zit je in de ongelooflijke spa ontworpen voor maximaal 6 gasten met een ultramodern filtersysteem, starend naar het volwassen bos.

Deze hut is net gerenoveerd en vermeld, dus we hebben nog niet veel recensies voor referentie.

The place was as described in the listing and was perfect for our stay. The hosts were also very helpful with providing the best route and directions aside from just relying on Google maps. We’d definitely stay again!

Communication prior to the stay was excellent. They were very helpful with any questions I had. The property was very well prepared for my arrival. It's a beautiful location - especially if you like to be secluded with privacy. For me, it was well worth the extra few minutes of drive time to get to the hiking to be away from the closer yet more crowded area closer to the hiking.

Beds were super comfy. Hot tub was relaxing and well maintained. Cabin was nicely laid out. Especially liked main entertainment room and outdoor deck. Kitchen was well stocked. Beautiful outdoors, great for hiking with our dog. Just the kind of peaceful getaway we needed!

It should be listed as the "Crooked Cabin". While it was in a lovely spot in the woods every part of the cabin from floor to ceiling was not level or plumb. Finding the place was another hassle. The directions were not good to find it. You need to create signs to post along the way to help guests find the place. The driveway is washed out and is in need of repair. The hot tub and the back deck were really enjoyable!! We had what we needed for the weekend. I loved the bear statue by the door!

Cabin offered the perfect location to relax and enjoy nature. Quiet and secluded cabin, but near enough to stores to grab all of the things we forgot. Great communication from hosts on directions to the cabin, which was great since we were arriving after dark. About 25-30 minute, scenic drive to many Hocking Hills trails. Hot tub was great for easing the aches after a long day of hiking. Cabin had everything we needed to cook all our meals and grill out. 10/10 would recommend this dog friendly rental.

Quiet cabin in the woods. We utilized every aspect of this property. From running our dogs in the spacious yard to playing Scrabble on the deck. We cooked our meals on the grill and enjoyed a soak in the spa at night. This place had it all and more. Even though we didn't experience any issues, the hosts were in contact with us in case anything cropped up. We (and our dogs) really enjoyed our stay.

Great get away

The Red cabin was in the middle of nowhere. 1016ft attitude took me a day to get acclimated (don't know why) but It was just what we needed. Have to admitt. I love thewater pressure (i have long thick hair, so thats a Big one. I was able to bring home clean clothes, because of the w/d . I am glad we came down.

Welcome! My name is Greg and I along with my wife Cassie own and operate this lovely cottage as well as other great getaway locations (Listing #'s: 631419 ; 1781220).

I work in real estate running and growing Red Oak Retreats Ohio, our getaway rental business while Cassie is a Speech Therapist and Yoga instructor for Columbus City Schools. She also helps with the vacation rental business to help bring the value of our getaways to an even higher level.

Our goal is to create incredible experiences for our guests to make the memories they have visiting with friends and family in our beautiful getaway settings as memorable as possible.

Our cottage on the ridge is the perfect getaway for groups of up to eight guests. Escape the hottest part of the day or coolest part of the evenings comfortable inside while still feeling like you're outside in the sunroom featuring panoramic views of the wilderness around you.

When it's really pleasant, head outdoors and sit on the back deck that makes you feel like you're in a treehouse. The front porch is perfect to find some shade and get a breeze with the outdoor fan, watch the birds or make the most of a rainstorm.

The spa has seating for up to 6 and features tons of great jets and settings for your comfort. All your muscles will be relaxed as you look upon the incredible wild views all around you.

The property itself offers 42 acres that is shared with just one other cabin that's 500+ feet away. Feel free to explore the property using the old abandoned logging roads that run through it!

Our cottage on the ridge features privacy and seclusion that is hard to beat while still being less than 15 minutes to the nearest grocery store and less than 25 minutes to Hocking Hills State Park. Tar Hollow, a hidden gem with lots of beautiful hiking and a public swimming lake is less than 10 minutes away. You won't want to leave!
