We had a great stay at Padua Paradise. The layout of the property is so well thought out. We had our coffee on the back patio in the sun and then moved to the pool for the rest of the day. The yard is beautiful and loved that there were bird feeders so we could watch a great variety of birds. Plus they accept dogs and ours was very happy there.

Disliked: Check-in, communication
We flew to Palm Springs from the East Coast. Our flight was delayed so we arrived after your office closed. We did not see a real person at your office— we used the lock box. We were given instructions on how to get the keys from the box. It was late, dark, and raining when we arrived. We were hungry and tired. No one had told us in advance that there was an alarm system.Setting off the alarm as we’re dragging our things into the house was a very inauspicious beginning to our vacation. It is our opinion that you should improve the way you handle late arrivals. It seems to us that the focus on proper paperwork overshadows the attention to the details required to get into the house and settled without the trauma of a screaming alarm.

Hi Peter,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that your arrival experience was stressful, especially after a long delayed flight and difficult travel conditions. That’s certainly not the kind of welcome we want our guests to have when starting their vacation.
We appreciate you pointing out the issue with the alarm system instructions. Your comments are very helpful, and we will review our late-arrival communication to make sure guests receive clearer guidance about the alarm and entry process before they arrive. Our goal is to make late check-ins as smooth and easy as possible.
Thank you again for your feedback, and we truly appreciate you staying with us.

Overall had a great time, throughly enjoying the pool and hot tub. Flowers were beautiful and the mountain scenery very nice. Our two dogs really enjoyed it as well. Nice completely fence back yard. Only complaint was the door to the pool from the living room had a completely broken lock. Also vinyl flooring looked dirty but was just needed replacement in certain areas. The floor was actually clean. Other than that it was a great rental. I grew up in Palm Springs and it made me feel like being home again.

House is fine...but beware of Oranj ( property managers )
Spent the entire month of Oct here with minimal issues...however we just now got our deposit back. It has taken over 2 months and 17 emails to accomplish this simple task. Customer Service was best illustrated by the stunning quote from the front desk well into the process : "Once we drop the check in the mail, there is nothing more we can do."

Hi, Mike. We are truly sorry that there was a mix-up in your mailing address that resulted in a delay in getting your deposit back. Once we found the error, a new check was issued and our team did our best to make sure it got to you as quickly as possible.
These things happen, but we appreciate how frustrating it can be.
Not so easy to deal with the property management company (Oranj Palm Vacation Homes) for this VRBO rental home, as you have to goto their office to get the keys to the house and sign more documents, in addition to several you sign online when booking the property. And it is made very clear you can not have ANY music playing outside of the house, and have to close the windows and doors if you have music on in the house. If anyone complains about you and your music you can be fined $500.00 and have to leave the property. This is a city ordinance. The house has a digital key pad to open the front door, not sure why you need to goto the office. I've rented several homes on VRBO and have never had to goto a property managers office to check into the property.
Upon arriving at the property, there was a for sale sign in front yard, and a vehicle in the driveway. I called the office, was told the house was still being cleaned, should be ready by 5pm and the house was listed for sale a few days ago. That would had been nice to know when I was at the office for check-in. The house it self was the perfect size for the 2 of us. Was in a good location, quiet neighborhood. However, the planes do fly over for take off from the airport, it didn't really bother us. While the photos of the house online look very nice, in person the house is very dated, everything looks like it was from the 80's when the house was built, Toilets, Tub, kitchen is very dark. House is in need of updating. There is a sign on the a/c thermostat control telling you not to lower the temp below 75, or the a/c unit will freeze up, and you may be responsible for any repair cost. The outdoor a/c unit looks very old. House was kinda dirty, tile floors were full of dust bunnies, Curtains on the door to pool are filthy. The dishes in the kitchen were unorganized you had to look in several cabinets to find what you needed, there were no paper towels, napkins or laundry soap. For the price, I'm not sure I would stay here again, I feel like it was over priced for the quality. This is just my personal experience, and my objective review of the property and is not meant to be destructive or offensive in any way. Happy Travels!
This was a great home for the two of us and our dog. The pool was amazing-- heated and very comfortable. We spent a nice quite week here. The only issue was that there is one house in the cul de sac where this house is located that is clearly not as well kept as the other homes, and on two seperate occassions we could hear lots of yelling going on-- like spouses having a very loud argument. So, that is unfortunate as it's a great location but there is one house that seems to cause problems in the neighborhood.
This is a nicely updated home in a nice neighborhood of North Palm Springs. It’s a warm, welcoming home but not so pristine that you worry about every little thing. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and everything worked as it should. The beds and linens were exceptionally cozy. Proximity to city-center is very good but you still need a car (or Uber). The pool area is very private with high fencing and very nice landscaping.
When we arrived the pool walls had some green algae. A call to maintenance had the pool cleaned and useable in about six hours. Also, the lawn had recently been de-thatched and the sprinklers were set to come on for about a minute each hour. The result was a muddy mess that our dog would have brought in the house had we not cleaned her feet first (file under "stuff happens", we don't expect perfection).
Departing airplanes do fly over the house at about a thousand feet (about 4 per hour during daylight hours, none I recall at night). It’s a low, rumbling noise and outdoor conversation isn’t impeded..
We've rented 4 different VRBO's in the Palm Springs area and this is our favorite so far.

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
I had to clean the whole home and outside grill/patio area - I could have stayed home to clean!!!!!
I COULD HAVE STAYED HOME TO CLEAN - I DO NOT WANT TO CLEAN WHEN I AM ON VACATION - POOL WAS NOT HEATED FOR 2 DAYS AND WE PAYED FOR A HEATED POOL - HOUSE WAS FILTHY FILTHY FILTHY - GRILL WAS A MESS NOT WORKING AT ALL - OUTSIDE WAS FILTHY FILTHY FILTHY
We will be back! So much to do if you want to, but we just hung out, lounged in the inground hot tub, grilled dinners, and watched movies. Great way to just get away.
My husband and I wanted a getaway where we could take our dogs and this house was more than we expected. The pictures are accurate; the house is VERY clean and cozy. We stayed for 6 days and I wished it could have been longer. The yard is large, with many trees and grass. The pool was comfortable as was the sitting area around the pool. We communicated with the property managers to get check in information and such, but had no issues during our stay. There is an ordinance about music outside, but to be honest, you don't miss it because listening to the hummingbirds flutter in, (there is a huge hummingbird feeder outside and it gets a LOT of activity!) and nature in general really helps you relax and enjoy your stay. I would love to stay here again.
I booked this house for the weekend with my husband, son and dogs. It was very clean, even included hand sanitizers and wipes. The house included almost anything you could need. The pool was a little chilly but the jacuzzi was great. Good location as well. Would definitely book again.
My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. It was perfect spot to get away. Backyard set up was awesome and pictures portrayed the property exactly. Inside was super clean and updated. located close to all the restaurants and downtown. We'd definitely be back.
My wife and I were very happy with the property. Comfortable, clean and roomy inside with everything we needed. We loved the attractively landscaped yard and pool area. Great views and location. We found the managers responsive and friendly.
