This recently upgraded mid-century Palm Springs retreat—originally designed by iconic architect Jack Meiselman—delivers effortless luxury through experience, not excess. Mornings begin with espresso at the dedicated coffee bar as soft desert light fills the clean architectural lines. Days unfold between sun and shade on a private pool deck with cabanas, framed by mountain views and quiet.
After a hike or a day in town, reset beneath the private outdoor shower, then soak under open sky in the outdoor soaking tub. As evening settles in, gather around the fire pit (seating for 6–8), prepare dinner on the BBQ, or retreat indoors to the warmth of the fireplace. Every space is designed to slow the pace and restore balance.
Additional comforts include * plush private patio furnishings, *washer and dryer on site, and a * Level 2 EV charger for seamless arrival and departure. This is not a party house—it is a place to reconnect, recharge, and experience Palm Springs as it was meant to be lived: privately, intentionally, and beautifully.
1 - Minimum Age Requirement
The primary renter must be 28 years of age or older, be present for the duration of the stay, and provide valid government-issued photo ID.
2 - Occupancy & Use
This home is for overnight accommodations only. No parties, events, gatherings, or commercial use of any kind are permitted.
3 - Noise & Music – City Ordinance
Outdoor music, amplified sound, or audible noise is prohibited at all times (24/7) under the City of Palm Springs Vacation Rental Ordinance. Quiet enjoyment of neighboring properties is mandatory.
4 - Good Neighbor Policy
Guests must comply with all City of Palm Springs short-term rental regulations, including noise, occupancy, and conduct standards. Violations may result in immediate eviction without refund and city fines.
5 - Parking – City Regulated
A maximum of 5 vehicles are permitted on the property. Street parking restrictions are strictly enforced by the City of Palm Springs.
6 - Smoking
No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors.
7 - Pets
Up to 2 dogs maximum are permitted with a $200 per dog non-refundable fee. Dogs must not disturb neighbors.
8 - Pool & Safety
The pool is not heated unless arranged in advance for an additional fee. Guests assume all responsibility for pool use and safety.
9 - Check-In / Check-Out
Check-in: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Check-out: 10:00 AM
10 - Enforcement Notice
Failure to comply with City of Palm Springs Vacation Rental Ordinance or these House Rules may result in:

Why they chose this property
This is a great property for young families with small children, adult couples or partners or the single person desiring to just get away for a long weekend or more. Dogs are welcome as well, but sorry, no cats. This property has very comfortable furniture and is appointed very nicely for almost all of your culinary needs. So come and stay with ModMansions at the Meiselman House - close the front door, open the patio doors and forget the rest of the world.
