Guestbook comments from the owner

This condo was our favorite we have found in Frisco in years. Very well-kept, extremely well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. Owner was very easy to deal with and attentive to our questions. Made our family ski vacation exactly what we had hoped for! 10 minutes, if that, to the lifts at Copper.

Great property

  • 5 of 5

Great property to stay at for a trip to the mountains. We stayed during the winter season and were minutes away from Copper Mountain and Breckenridge. Property location is close to Main Street.

One thing to mention was that the TV was very small. But overall a beautiful place to stay. Would definitely like to stay here again in the future!

Clean and neat

  • 4 of 5

This is as advertised. Rooms are tight. The unit is convenient to town. We enjoyed Frisco and would stay here again. the commute to Breckenridge was easy even after a foot of snow. The commute to Vail was longer but not too bad.

Cute, cozy cabin!

  • 5 of 5

This property is in a great location near downtown frisco. The owner was super responsive with a minor thing that came up. The cabin was fully equipped and clean. We were so impressed! It's definitely a small place, but our group was pretty tight knit so that wasn't an issue for us. Only suggestion would be to have a card table and chairs up there for guest use bc seating at meals is limited. We brought our own up for card games we played and I'm really glad we had it. Awesome place overall-- I highly recommend.

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location for skiing at Copper and enjoying the town of Frisco. Condo was comfortable and clean. We appreciated that the the kitchen was was nicely stocked for cooking our own meals. The condo comfortably accommodated our family of five and provided a nice place to rest after a day of skiing.

Small

  • 2 of 5

Things we liked: well stocked with paper products, cleaning supplies; baseboard heat great for drying boots, gloves; good location, walking distance to town/bus to ski resorts.

Things others should know: snow covered building number when we arrived. It is the first one on the left as you enter the complex and the unit is the last one on the right on the backside of the building. If arriving at night, bring a flashlight as the keypad is black (and very persnickety), difficult to see and outdoor lights are not left on for late arrival. There is no w/d in unit; it is a coin-operated facility on the lower level that requires a code to get in.

Things we didn't care for: wall to wall furniture made it very cramped for four adults; no access to MBR closet so all occupants share closet in second bedroom. Hot water heater very small; needed to wait 20-30 minutes between showers. Some pots and pans needed to be washed before using.

Owner's Response: Thank you Vicki, and glad you found the location of the unit ideal! To address the other statements, this is the first guest in our history of ownership that has had a hard time finding the unit and keypad. There is a light on the keypad that makes it very easy to operate at night, and the lights in the parking lot allow the guest to make it to the front door with good sight, even at night. We have tested the keypad after receiving this review to ensure that there is nothing wrong with it, and it is working great, as it always has. The washer/dryer couldn't be closer to the unit and because a code is required, the machines are very clean and well-maintained. I am sorry to hear that you found the unit cramped. While this is not a large single-family home, we feel that the price reflects the space well and very fairly. We have had many other guests with more than 4 adults find it comfortable. I am not sure what was meant by 'wall to wall furniture', as this is simply not true. The pictures in the listing 100% reflect the unit, so as anyone can see, none of the rooms have wall to wall furniture. There are three large closets and a linen closet that all guests have access to, one downstairs and two upstairs. We have found that guests can use hot water for about 40-45 minutes before having to wait for the hot water heater to re-heat, so as long as one takes an average length shower, 2-3 showers can be taken before having to wait for it to heat back up. Finally, we take great pride in providing a rental unit that is clean and well-maintained. This is the first guest who has also complained about some pots and pans not being up to expectations. We inspect the whole condo between most visitors and have a cleaning service who cleans between each one, and also takes a look at all items to ensure there is no damage and everything is clean. I find it hard to believe we both would have missed this, but if this is the case, we sincerely apologize and will ensure it does not happen again. We hope you enjoyed your holidays!
