Large boat docks with power and water connection so you can bring you own boats, up to four or more. The large fenced in back yard has coconut trees along with a gazebo that includes hammocks and a tree house.

Stay while working

We stayed at Blackbeards Place while in the Bahamas for hurricane relief. Charles was very easy to work with and very responsive on communications.

Outstanding!!!

Relaxed environment that is perfect for boaters, divers, and fishermen. The house is built for entertaining, and the hosts really helped to make our experience even better. Charles even brought us to the supermarket several times!!!! I can't say enough great things about our stay. Thank you!!!!!

Perfect location, awesome hosts

Charlie and Nom were wonderful hosts; I can't say enough about them. The home is perfectly located, a short walk to Taino Beach and to the water taxi to get to Port Lucaya Marketplace. They took us to the store a couple of times, picked us up and dropped us off from the airport, and they were very accommodating. The house is large, very clean, and situated on beautiful grounds. We had no issues at all with the house, and there were 9 of us using 4 rooms. The backyard had hammocks overlooking the a clean water canal. The A/C worked fantastic during what seemed like a heat wave while we were there. Water pressure and temperature were on point. Wifi worked great!! This trip allowed us to experience authentic food, interact with warm and friendly people, and live life in the Bahamas for 5 days. The locals were all so helpful and friendly. It was close walking distance to Taino Beach, Junkanoo Beach Club, local fish frys, and other local dining venues. Penny's (by the Outrigger's Fish Fry) offers home made coconut bread, jerk chicken, fish fry and she dances to Bahamian music while preparing your food, Smith's Point Fish Fry has the best conch fritters I've tasted so far. There are a few huts along the beach for coconut drinks, with or without rum. The beach is beautiful, but even more so in the early morning. We took a snorkeling excursion and saw many colorful fish. I recommend to purchase fish food from the boat for the exhilarating experience of being surrounded by a swarm of fish. After that, we went to the East End of the island where you can see and swim in warm water so clear you can see everything on the ripply sandy floor...it was stunning. We had a BBQ on the beach and they offered Bahamas Mamas that creep up on you if you're not paying attention. They did a conch demo and prepared a civiche. The tour company is called Pat & Diane's . Be sure to take the 5 hour tour of Snorkeling & Deserted Beach Adventure. On our last day, we had Taino beach to ourselves, swimming in water so clear we could see our shadow on the bottom of the ocean floor. We watched a dozen or so regatta boats set up and race. We are looking forward to our next stay :) Highly recommended. Thanks Charlie and Nom!!

Wonderfully large house, kitchen and yard for family or group

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and there was room enough for all of us, plus quiet space. Our host provided very customized care. personable service, and timely communication. You will need a rental car or a motor boat to get around, except Tiano Beach which is very walkable. The bar at Tiano Beach is a really fun place to hangout at night. Also, don't miss the beach party at Tiano Beach Resort down the road! We also explored the West end of the island, the marketplace, and Lucaya National Park. Be aware that you have to pay for beach access if you are not a guest of a resort. Most beaches have excursions and toys to rent.

Outstanding time.

Myself and our group of twelve people had a absolute great time. The house and the host "Charles" were really great. We boated over from Stuart with nine people and three flew straight into Freeport. The house was very close and Charles picked up our guest from the airport. He went out of his way to make our stay great for everyone. I will say for boaters this house is perfect. Three refrigerators, deep water dockage "8-10ft" and 50amp service in a protected canal very close to inlet makes it a dream to boat over from Florida. Another impressive was the non existent mosquito, I've stayed in many homes in Bahamas and bug spray was always needed but here there were few. Will defiantly stay here again. Thanks again Charles...

Great House and Location

This is a great house to rent. It is very close to all the attractions in Taino Beach and a short boat ride or drive to Port Lucaya. The house is in great condition and has enough space to accommodate for your entire group. I highly recommend renting this house.
