Thank you for your review. We love nothing more than our guests feeling that they are home from home. So happy you were able to take in the fantastic surrounding villages. All easy to get to, either walking, bus, taxi or car. The railway station in Lagos is great for a trip to Portemao or even Lisbon. We do hope you will stay with us again.

Whilst we are disappointed with your 4* rating, we thank you for your feedback. We worked hard to ensure your comfort, pre heating the property for your arrival and providing a complimentary pick up truck load of logs, stacked in the basement for your use. Comment from our villa manager re smell in the upstairs and basement bathrooms: “this is a function of Portuguese plumbing and sewer design. Infrequently this occurs when the wind blows in a certain direction. We had a number of properties impacted over this period”. We are sorry you were impacted. We do all we can to prevent such things, but given the design we cannot totally eliminate. You will note that the ground floor ensuite and WC are brand new. This work has just been completed and involved new plumbing throughout. We believe that this has eliminated the issue in these rooms. We also note your comment on the sofa. We tend to disagree with your conclusion. We have many complements from guests regarding the comfort of the sofa and tendency to fall asleep on the sofa! We have the sofa professionally cleaned, re- dyed and surface treated once per year Naturally we will consider your review of the sofa in deciding when to replace. You will no doubt have noted the brand new and comfortable sofa(sofa-bed) recently installed in the sun lounge. We reinvest all surplus funds in the villa. The doors and windows will be replaced in Jan 25 to improve thermal efficiency. Very best wishes. C&A

As you say from the lovely garden and pool to the games area in the basement. Plus the house has enough room too, therefore you don’t feel to be on top of one another.
