This property is located end of row, forth row from the beachfront and is one of the more private villas.

Its other stand out feature is that it is on the largest, and most spacious of the three in a row Meliá Resorts. It is therefore not overlooked and has gets the sun all day ( as it’s South-facing...so moving to the beach is not necessary when wishing to work on achieving a sun tan ).

It faces towards the amazing Llana Resort and is among some the best located private villas.

“ Penny Lane” comes fully equipped with air conditioning in all rooms.
The first floor master bedroom has an ensuite twin bathroom with bath and shower. Wi-Fi is fast, free, private and unlimited in the villa and there is free public WiFi available around the rest of Meliá Dunas Beach Resort.

The remaining two ( twin ) bedrooms are each located by other bathrooms. As can be seen in the photos, it's a very spacious airy villa, with comfortable beds. The ample kitchen has lots of amenities. The upstairs bedroom terrace has sea views, perfect for a chilled out drink at one of the magical sunsets.

It is in a very peaceful location just far enough from the many on Resort restaurants, bars, tennis court, swimming pools, piano bars, and shops. The beautiful sparkling tourquoise sea with endless soft white sandy beach is reminiscent of the Bahamas.

This large holiday home accommodates up to six people with ease, and is located with a South facing un-obstructed garden for all day sunshine! 🌞

A large communal swimming pool is seconds away, with sun loungers. Located by the very frontline 4 - bedroom villas.
There is a Supermarket five minutes away, and car hire nearby.

I absolutely loved my stay at The villa at Melia Dunas. The host was great and always quick to respond to my messages. The villa was clean, well kept, plenty of sun light and walking distance to the beach.

Lovely villa in a great location

The villa is really nice and had everything we needed for a great stay. It is a minute’s walk to the beautiful beach. Communication with the owner was easy. We would stay again.

What a fantastic place!

We have just returned form a week at this wonderful villa, location on the complex is perfect, the villa is very clean, comfortable and with great facilities We opted to go for the all inclusive offer with the Melia resort which was also great We are currently looking at flights for when we will return to Sal, and we will certainly be staying in this villa again!

Great villa, but….

What a great location. Very quiet with a great plunge pool to cool off in the heat and close to the beach. The villa is very spacious with good powerful showers. However, we had significant cleanliness issues with the bedding which took several days to resolve. During our stay, we also experienced numerous other issues, some of which the owner was already aware of prior to our stay, but these still had not been repaired after we vacated the villa. Hopefully the new fridge has been installed. If all the issues were addressed and the property was maintained to a better standard then we would not hesitate to go back, but as it stands we will look for other properties on the same resort. We have provided feedback directly to the owner, but have not yet had a reply.

Wir würden gern nochmal kommen!

Tolles Haus! Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt! Man muss nur wissen, dass das Haus in einer riesen Anlage liegt! Wir haben uns die postiven Seiten heraus gepickt (zB Joga, Beachbar) und sind das umgangen, was uns nicht so gut gefallen (riesen Poolanlagen voller Menschen). Dafür war der vom Haus ca 500m entfernte Strand extrem leer und das Meer viele Male schöner als der Pool! Wir würden wieder kommen!

Villa non conforme à la description

Quand nous sommes arrivées à la réception de l'hôtel pour la carte d'accès à la villa, on a dû attendre 3h malgres que nous avons prévenue le propriétaire ! Et quand nous avons enfin eu la carte et que nous sommes rentrés à la villa déception total !!! La maison était sale, les draps pas changer et aucun draps propre ! La cuisine n'en parlons même pas. Et le comble pas d'eau chaude ! Les chaises de la terrasse donnant sur la chambre était rouillée ! Aucun produit ménager et machine à lavée non fonctionnel ! Bref vraiment je ne recommande pas pour le prix on s'attandais à beaucoup mieux ! Nous n'y retourneront plus et nous la recommanderons à personnes !

Maison agréable mais !!!

La description de la maison correspond. Mais pas d'eau chaude pendant tout le séjour (le propriétaire nous propose de nous doucher dans les douches de la salle de sport de l'hôtel où les enfants n'ont pas accès ). Il semblerait que la chaudière soit en panne depuis des lustres. Canalisation des salles de bain bouchée avec des odeurs épouvantables ( propriétaire averti des le début du séjour mais un retour sans aucune réactivité). En bref on est loin du luxe avancé.

Traumhaft ruhiger Ferienbungalow

Der Bungalow ist sehr gemütlich, großzügig gestaltet und hochwertig ausgestattet. Bei Anreise mit 6 Personen ist zu beachten, dass nur zwei der drei Schlafzimmer mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet sind. Da wir nur zu viert waren, ist das kein Problem für uns gewesen. Die Küche ist komplett eingerichtet mit Geschirrspüler, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Toaster......ect. Selbst auf der Terrasse gibt es einen Gasgrill, aber leider haben wir in Santa Maria keinen Metzger mit geeignetem Grillfleisch gefunden. Zudem gibt es in Santa Maria zahlreiche Restaurants mit hervorragendem Essen (z.B. das Café Creole, Café Cultural oder das Barracuda). Den eigenen Pool und die Terrasse haben wir vor allem nach dem Tauchen sehr genossen. Selbst den Gemeinschaftspool der Anlage hatten wir zumeist für uns alleine. Da die Anlage ca. 5 Min. mit dem Auto von Santa Maria entfernt war, haben wir uns den Luxus eines Jeeps gegönnt. Diesen haben wir problemlos in der Autovermietung vom Hotel Morabeza angemietet. So konnten wir auch die gesamte Insel selbst erkunden und sind zum Schnorcheln an einsame Buchten gefahren. Getaucht sind wir mit ORCA, weil uns dort das Equipment und die Freundlichkeit der Tauchguides überzeugt haben. Einkaufen waren wir zumeist im Supermarkt (gleich am Ortseingang von Santa Maria hinter der Tankstelle links). Die besten Caipies haben wir am kleinen Strandkiosk rechts von der Jetty in Santa Maria getrunken. Insgesamt hatten wir fantastische 14 Tage. Danke auch an Andrew, den unkomplizierten Eigentümer unserer Villa :-))

Familienunterkunft

Die Wohnung bietet ausreichend Platz für 6 Personen. Die Einrichtung ist modern und zweckmässig, das Haus hell und freundlich. Die Anlage ist recht ruhig, der Strand lang und breit; allerdings zum Schwimmen nicht geeignet. Der Strand in Santa Maria ist echt toll (glasklar und türkis), am Fischersteg ist immer was los. Sehr empfehlenswert ist die Tam Tam Bar. Wer gerne frischne Fisch isst ist beim Fischermann gut aufgehoben. Eine Inselrundfahrt mit Tscharls haben wir bei Annes Info Point am Fischersteg gebucht - toll! Vor allen Baden in den Salinen ist super. Auch die Katamaranfahrt mit Luis war sehr schön. Im Nachbarresort fährt stündlich ein kostenloser Shuttlebus nach Santa Maria (vorher registrieren!). Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt.

* Anyone for tennis? Melia Dunas Beach Resort also has tennis courts.
* Close proximity to airport is an added 15 mins away.
