My name is Jamie Reimer, and I’m a novice photographer from Camas, Wash., with a love of action water sports running through my veins. I began windsurfing in my hometown of Clearwater, Fla., at age 17, and was fortunate enough to travel the world competing and gaining minor recognition. I also started a swimwear line, which grew from bikinis to windsurfing shorts to workout gear for the likes of Hulk Hogan, much to my surprise. My husband, Eric, and I met in Aruba 29 years ago, when he bought a pair of shorts from my stand. Today, we have two children — Addie, 16, and Rush, 13 — and together we run an architectural cable railing business. We still spend a lot of time on the water, with kite boarding and stand up paddle boarding being our favorites. I’m eager to learn more about water photography so I can capture our busy water family in action and take part in our adventures as long as I can.
