This is a three-story duplex located on the North end of Carolina Beach.This townhouse is approximately 2700 square feet, so there is alot of room for multiple families. The property is located across the street from the ocean with only one row of houses between you and the beach. The views are better than many oceanfront houses! A public walkway to the beach is almost directly across the street from the house, and this is not a busy street.
The views of the beach and the canal are breathtaking. Watch the sun rise and set from almost any room in the house. When looking at the photo of the house, the right side is the property listed. Unit 2 has six covered porches with access from every floor to both the ocean view and the canal view. The first floor has a recreation room with an air hockey table and a twin playhouse bed and TV with DVD.
There is also a separate bedroom with one queen and one twin bed, TV with DVD, private deck overlooking the sound, and a common bath between the rec room and the bedroom. The washer and dryer are located in the hallway. A Game table/bar area is located in the foyer and is a great pace to play board games or cards.
The middle floor has a great room with a gas fireplace, 30 inch High Definition TV/DVD, kitchen, dining room and bar, pantry and private deck overlooking the ocean. There is also a bedroom with a king bed, bath, and private deck overlooking the sound, also with a flat screen television. The third floor has a master suite with a king bed, jacuzzi and shower bath and a large deck overlooking the ocean.
The Master Suite has a flat screen television. There is also another bedroom with two full beds, a private bath, a computer station with wireless internet access (no computer provided). This bedroom also has a deck overlooking the sound.
The house has a private optionally heated pool, large deck, grill, private elevator, and storage and parking underneath the house. This house was built for the enjoyment of our family and yours. We built it with nothing spared! Come and enjoy the beautiful brightly colored rooms and decor with absolutely breathtaking views of both the ocean and the canal. Sit on the front decks and see and hear the ocean roar. Watch the sun set against the sailboat silhouettes in the canal. It is an absolute dream!

****We make every effort and take great pride in keeping our properties in great working order and up to date. However, there are times when equipment malfunctions in the elevator and/or pool pump which is beyond our control. We offer a reasonable repair time in conjunction with the repair companies. Elevators are for luxury use only. They will not accomodate a wheelchair and this property should not be rented if an elevator is essential for any tenants. This residential elevator does not meet the same requirements as a commercial elevator. We cannot refund any monies due to elevator/pool dysfunction that is not repairable by the owners/management company.
1) What is the physical address? Answer: 1317 Carolina Beach Avenue North, Carolina Beach, NC 28428 UNIT 2
2) Is this located in near the beach? Answer: YES! beach access is almost directly across the front door. The Carolina Beach board walk is about 1 mile south, and Freeman Park is 1/2 mile north.
3) What days do the weekly rentals start? During peak summer months, this is strictly a Saturday-to-Saturday rental. Off peak is more flexible and weekly rentals can most likely start on any day you prefer.
4) What are check-in and check-out times? Answer: Standard check in: 4pm, and standard check out: 11am.
6) Are any amenities included? yes, You will find the property supplied with: Roll of paper towels, bath tissue in each bath, hand soap, dishwasher soap, trash bags, kitchen utensils, cookware, place settings. Oftentimes, previous renters leave many seasonings as well.
7) Is WiFi Internet service or phone service provided? Yes, 30mbs broadband over Wifi is included. Also local phone service is included.
8) Are linens included? Linens are not included. You can bring your own or use the local linen service which provided linens at a reasonable rate. Contact Seaside Linens.
9) Can we have an early check-in, or late check-out? Answer: during peak season (summer months) occupancy is 100% so this is most likely not an option. Off-peak is possible provided the cleaning service allows, and other guests are not arriving(departing) the day you are departing(arriving)... just ask us.
9) How do I make a reservation? Answer: simply hit the Email Owner button on the website and complete the form. In the comments box, write, I am ready to book or ask any questions that you may have. A rental agreement will be generated with all the details about your stay and will be emailed to you. You can print off and complete and mail back with payment or send an electronic copy if you are paying online.
10) What forms of payment are accepted? Answer: personal check preferred.

Avi and I have lived in the Wilmington area since 1991. Avi came to the area to open the first Wings store in Carolina Beach. We fell in love with the area and once settled in Wilmington, we began to buy properties in Carolina Beach. We loved the north end of the island because the beaches were beautiful and there was little traffic down Carolina Beach Avenue North. We vacation in Carolina Beach too and have lived here during the winters during various house renovations.

Why Kelly chose Carolina Beach
We bought the original property as in investment. It was a ranch style house, seated on the ground, with a garage apartment. We rented the triplex out on yearly leases for approximately 7-8 years. We then saw the growth in Carolina Beach and decided to build our retirement townhouse. We built these two duplexes in 2004 with plans to sell Unit 1. We have a strong rental history with many happy returning renters each year. We also enjoy our time in Unit 2 with our family and extended family.
What makes this Townhome unique
We are one of the very few properties with a pool onsite. This property also has the most fabulous views. You can stand in almost any room in the house and have a panoramic view of the water. You can watch the sun rise over the ocean and set over the canal. We put our heart and soul into building this place, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Great location with ample sleeping space
We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen except the ice maker did not work. The number of bedrooms/beds provided ample space for our family of 10. It was a great location to get to the beach. The grandchildren enjoyed having the pool. On a down note, family members said the mattresses on twin beds did not sleep well. They might need updating. The sofa in rec room smelled of urine. A cleaning crew came and cleaned it but said they weren't sure that the smell wouldn't continue and it did when it was humid in the house.
Excellent location and property.
My extended family fully utilized all levels of the property. The area was quiet and the beach was not crowded. Traffic was minimal on the street. It was especially nice to view the sunrises and sunsets from the porches on the front and rear of the building. The condo had everything we needed and provided a great week at the beach!

Beach Vacation Paradise
Beautiful vacation spot. The house is absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable and spacious. Lots of great and safe parking. Having the private pool was great. We went to the beach all day (which is just a walk across the street), came home, got dinner, and hung out by the heated pool. It was relaxing and wonderful. The location of the house is perfect....just enough away from everything to have a quite spot, but also close enough to walk to several places and/or get there very quickly by car. The house was well stocked with everything you would need. The grill outside by the pool was awesome, we cooked a lot of meals there. One drawback was the sleeper sofas......they need new mattresses, not comfortable, but the beds were very comfortable (but do need new pillows on some of the beds). We brought our own so it was no big deal, but the people we were with mentioned it. Some of the great spots to eat were the Surf House, Lazy Pirate, Deck House, and of course Britt's doughnuts (not to be missed!!!!). The Food Lion is right there for grocery needs. If you are debating on choosing this house.....do it!!! Awesome time!!!!
Fabulous Beach House!
We rented this house for a girls weekend last fall and it was fabulous! The house was beautifully decorated and had every possible accommodation that you could imagine or want. It was more than spacious and the multiple porches offered amazing views of the beach and waterway. The beach is just a few steps away and there are a multitude of restaurants/bars, shops, and attractions all within walking distance. It was the perfect get away!

Amazing Beach House! Perfect for a girls weekend!
Three of my best friends and I rented this house for a girls weekend in October. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. We had zero problems. The house was perfect! Great beach and waterway views and a short walk to the beach. We all had a amazing weekend and can't wait to do it next year!

Sunbathing, NC Aquarium,Fort Fisher Museum,and Ferry to Southport within 5 miles, Freeman Park less than one mile(4WD can drive on the beach and camp on the beach), Jungle Rapids Water and Amusement Park approximately 13 miles away in Wilmington-has indoor activities for rainy days.

Summer rates are weekly only. The rental period is Saturday to Saturday in Jun, July, August. Inquire for other holiday rates. Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed. Paypal is accepted, but renters agree to pay any fees charged by Paypal. Reasonable rates on Linen rental at www.seasidelinen.com ****Pool heating rates are $200 per rental or week. This fee includes a 3 day rental up to a 7 day rental. There is a $500 cancellation fee if the reservation is cancelled prior to the 30 day cancellation policy. There will be no refunds of rent money within thirty (30) days prior to rental period. In the event that you must cancel your reservation within thirty days of your arrival, your deposit will be forfeited unless you are able to rebook for a later date within a year. In the event of inclement weather during your stay, rent money will: 1) be refunded if area is evacuated or property is damaged before arrival. 2) be prorated and partially refunded if an evacuation is mandated. 3) not be refunded if lessee chooses to evacuate at his/her own free will. If you rebook within a year, no fees are charged and all monies are applied to applicable rate for rebooking period.
