Welcome to Your Coastal Cottage Getaway at The Blue Cottage ~ Prime Location!
Experience the charm of Bay St. Louis in this beautifully renovated historic cottage. Modern updates blend seamlessly with classic coastal architecture, creating an open floor plan that feels both comfortable and inviting. The warm ambiance is perfect for welcoming you, your family, and friends for a memorable stay.
This cottage is ideally situated just a half block from Main Street and two blocks from the beach and downtown area. You'll be steps away from all the restaurants, shops, and bars, placing you in the heart of the action. Yet the house sits on a quiet, one-way street, offering privacy and tranquility—a perfect balance for your vacation.
The cottage is thoughtfully appointed with creative touches throughout. Enjoy the coastal faux painted woodwork, historic natural distressed wood doors, and original hardwood floors. Tile is featured in every bathroom and the kitchen, while high original bead board ceilings grace the first floor. Ample windows provide plenty of natural light!
Relax in the spacious great room on the large feather-filled linen sectional sofa, perfect for lounging, napping, or watching the game on the large flat screen TV. Wi-Fi is provided, so streaming through Roku is available on all TV's in all rooms, directions provided.
The property offers newly glass-enclosed walk-in showers. Each bedroom features ample closet space, with a walk-in closet off the master bedroom. The master suite, located on the first floor, includes a king-size bed, a full-sized stack washer and dryer, and a spacious, handicap-accessible bathroom.
A half bath off the great room ensures guests don’t have to enter private bedrooms to use the restroom.
Enjoy the screened-in porch with comfortable seating and a round glass table, as well as a small outdoor deck. The deck also includes a large gas grill, gas included. —perfect for relaxing and enjoying the coastal atmosphere.
During the winter months, cozy up to the real wood-burning fireplace. Guests are welcome to bring their own wood, or request some for a minor fee.
