Why Alpine Escapes Luxury Cabins chose Gatlinburg
We love this property because it's easy to get to (you can avoid the Sevierville, Pigeon Forge traffic if you want) and it's less than 20 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg. The views are stunning year-round and the house, itself, is beautifully crafted and decorated. Personally, our favorite part of the cabin is the amazing game room. While most cabins in Gatlinburg have one arcade machine, Buck & Bear has six--and they are so much fun.
What makes this Cabin unique
The cabin is on the mountain and has exceptional views. You can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature here and then drive to Gatlinburg to enjoy the tourist experience. This is the only cabin we manage, so when you rent from us you have our 100% attention. We are happy to answer any questions you have - just give us a call!

Beautiful cabin and views!
We had a group of precisely 24 people including several kids, stayed for 3 nights for a family reunion. The location is amazing and we had beautiful views of the Smokies every day we were there despite fog in other parts of town. Check in was a breeze and although there were some hiccups after arrival, the owner was responsive and quick to address issues. The cabin was pretty clean but some blankets had stain marks and the extra ones in the closets were a bit dusty. Having said that, the beds were not the most comfortable and very noisy. The sofa beds were used for the kids but still pretty terrible, I don’t know how an adult would be able to sleep on one. The queen sofa bed in the game room especially was not usable at all, you’d be lying on mattress springs with no cushion. We had a memorable stay and the cabin is gorgeous, but would suggest improvements in the bedding for sure.
Great place for family vacation
Stayed here about 10 yrs ago, returned this year. Excellent place for a family of 18! Game room was a hit for the boys.!
We loved this cabin!!
We had such an amazing experience in this cabin. Super spacious, the rooms are beautiful, we couldn't have asked for better. The games downstairs were a huge hit with our family as well. We had 11 people staying & everyone had their own room PLUS extra beds. You won't be disappointed!!
We are so glad to hear you had an amazing experience and we hope you will come back and stay with us again!
Perfect College Football Weekend!
Absolutely stunning property! Other than the fact we couldn't figure out how to use the master bedroom shower, the place was immaculate, cozy, and fun! The view from the master bedroom and main level decks was amazing. Close enough to Gatlinburg for all the necessities and for some fun. Thanks so much you guys - we really enjoyed our stay!
Glad to hear you had a fun college football weekend and we'll hope you will stay with us again!
We had 15 adults and four children with our family. The cabin had plenty of room for everyone. The views are beautiful.
The property is spacious and clean. However, technology needs to be upgraded as well as beds.
This property is sold as managed by the owner but that does not make a difference. We had significant challenges with the DVD player not working (3 were by the large screen - hard to know which one to use). No instructions are given how to connect. The WiFi was not functional most of our visit and when it was working, it was very slow. When we asked for a service call, the owner responde, but had all kinds of reasons for a delay. Also, please count on only 14 people sleeping comfortably. The pull out sleeper sofas are extremely uncomfortable and need to be upgraded. We had to move some family members on the couches instead. The mattresses have wires that poke you if you plan to try to sleep on the sleeper sofas. The property needs to be invested in for an upgrade before it will be an exceptional experience.
I'm sorry to hear you had challenges with our technology and the you feel your experience was not exceptional. The DVD player was broken and maintenance was called but, we did not have the technical capabilities to repair the DVD player. We do have Direct TV with access to all of the movie channels so there are plenty of alternate options as well as a game console that plays DVDs. We spoke several times during the weekend on how to use the equipment. The internet connection was active and working during your stay, however, when you relocated our technical equipment to other rooms and changed the wire connections, this caused you to have issues. Unfortunately, this was beyond my control. I was available to assist you the entire weekend and did my best to resolve your concerns in a timely manner.
