The Art House - indoor jacuzzi, outdoor pool and only one block from downtown!!

Sophisticated elegance, The Art House is a meticulously maintained two-bedroom property less than a block from historic downtown Ocean Springs, and minutes from beautiful Front Beach.

Loaded with amenities, The Art House offers breathtaking surroundings, including an outdoor dining and lounge area with an oversized fireplace, and access to an expansive beautiful courtyard.

Inside you'll find an impeccably decorated space with all the conveniences of home. The Art House features a fabulous open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters. There also is an outdoor kitchen with stainless gas grill for your BBQ needs.

The dining room is accented by chandelier lighting and decorated with elegant works of art, where you will dine on a modern glass and steel table that can seat up to eight.

The two bedrooms each feature luxurious king-size beds and flat-screen Roku TVs, and there's an oversized leather couch in the living room that can be used for additional sleeping arrangements.

The bathroom features his and her vanities, an eight-jet European walk-in shower, as well as a large Jacuzzi tub to unwind.

Outside, you will find an expansive deck and patio with an outdoor fireplace and a stunning fountain in the courtyard. A greenhouse, erected from pre-Katrina salvaged materials holds beach chairs and beach bikes.

Guests of The Art House also have exclusive access to the outdoor pool during your stay!

The property has high-speed wireless Internet and multiple flat-screen TVs with Roku.

While at The Art House you’ll feel completely at home and never need to leave the property to have a fantastic stay, but if you can tear yourself away you'll find yourself in the heart of the historic town of Ocean Springs. There are numerous restaurants, museums, art galleries, sidewalk cafes, antique stores, and unique gift shops for you to enjoy.

We do allow well-behaved pets that must be kept on a leash while outdoors on the property.

Perfect trip!

The house was amazing. Exactly as advertised and more, and walking distance from the heart of one of the hidden gem towns of the South. We’ll be back for sure!!!

Good Times in Ocean Springs

We enjoyed our time in the best small town in the U.S. The house was very clean and nice. Location is A+++++ Loved the bathroom with a TV, large shower and hot tub. We are looking forward to staying here again.

Perfect location so close to my daughter and grandchildren!! The boys could walk or ride bikes to visit Grandma in the neighborhood!! Outside area was stunning and we spent most of our visits outside! Spectacular home fully appointed to meet all of your needs. First class experience for the entire week.

Art House definitely a 10 ++

Fabulous! You can tell when you walk in the door, this home is special. Close to town (walked to coffee shop and got a latte several times) it is tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork ( I love art) very clean and well maintained, I had everything I needed. Great communication, easy check in and check out. Incredible find!

We loved the house and accommodations but we didn’t realize that we were next to train track.Four trains with long horn each night. We were up after the 5:00AM train each morning.

80th Birthday Trip

Four generations of women/girls enjoyed this excellent home with faboulous outdoor space. We loved the kitchen & bathroom too. It could use a little more seating & some type of end tables in the living room.

perfect downtown house

clean, modern, funky, comfortable, safe. loved it! I can tell you it really didn't bother us because we are very easy going - but the very loud train horns 3 times in the middle of the night might be an issue for some people. might be a kind thing to do to put that in the listing in the interest of being fully transparent? :)

OS just for fun

The house is very comfortable and has a lot of fun art. The location is great and the porch and patio are gorgeous! We sat outside on the porch for hours. We would definitely stay at The Art House again.

Lovely House!

Easy to find, close to downtown mainstreet, BEAUTIFUL house - lots of light and very clean. Jacuzzi tub and shower are a dream. And then there are the deck and patios. The fountain, gas fireplace, deck and patio are soo inviting! Grill and outdoor kitchen are top notch. Property manager communicated well and stayed on top of things. House was well stocked with all kitchen utensils and items. Furniture and appliances were all upgrades and clean. And yes, the train. But we loved it!! ❤️ This is one of the two properties we will return to, out of maanyy we have rented. Yes, jetsetter family. If you are traveling to Biloxi/Ocena Springs area, don't pass up this house. It's simply charming.

Close to perfect!

Close to perfect! Adorable cottage remodeled with upgraded features. The kitchen and bath were incredible. We didn’t want for anything. The furnishings were very nice and inviting. The entire cottage displays eclectic art pieces throughout. I’m not gonna say too much about the enormous outdoor spaces. I’ll leave that for a nice surprise. Easy booking, easy locating and close proximity to downtown (short walk) and beach. It is right near a railroad so be prepared. You’ll definitely here the train. We enjoyed it but you might consider ear plugs if you are bothered by the sounds. A very pleasant stay! I wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing weekend getaway

My husband and 5 year old daughter came down to see the Walter Anderson museum and get out of town for the weekend. This property was perfect! The weather was great and we mostly stayed outside on the amazing porch! The property was clean and comfortable and so close to everywhere we wanted to go. This town is so darling, we will definitely be back!

Excellent vacation spot

We planned a quick getaway and found this gem online. We did not know what all to expect since we have never been to Ocean springs, but we fell in love with this Art house, the town, & beach. We went for walks to the town everyday to enjoy to wonderful food and extraordinary shops while meeting the friendless people imaginable. The town was quaint, the beach was close and has spectacular views. The railroad adds charm just like Carl the roaster did. We are definitely coming back. We have been planning a trip since the ride out of town. Thanks Ocean springs for a lovely getaway.

Perfect Retreat Home

This home is beautiful and has great areas for relaxing! Indoors and out. Everything you need is there and the location is wonderful. I looked forward to the train coming by and when my grandkids (who live in town) came over they loved the pool and the train! There was a festival in town adding to the perfect trip!

Roger and Vicki are Ocean Springs natives who have spent the last decade collecting properties to restore and preserve in downtown Ocean Springs to be enjoyed by all. Both are lovers of art, but most of all their hometown, friends, and family who frequent this property often due to its welcoming vibe.

Why they chose this property

Once you have seen the Art House, you will understand there is nothing else quite like it on the Coast. Outside, its quaint and unassuming appearance opens to reveal a meticulously designed and maintained home created with enjoying the outdoors in mind. Even the artifacts in the home are unique, collected from travels over many years.

What makes this property unique

In the Art House, you will find an expansive kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The beautiful dining room table seats up to eight dinner guests under a beautiful chandelier. Though there is only one Jack-and-Jill bathroom between the two king bedrooms, it is equipped with a walk-in shower that has seating and eight jets. The large Jacuzzi tub provides a spot to relax and unwind.

Outside, the expansive deck brings the outdoors in, with an outdoor lounge and dining area with also an oversized fireplace. The patio is surrounded by seasonal flowers with a large fountain that fills the background with the sound of splashing water. It's truly a magical place.
