Why Christopher Dearman chose Ocean Springs
Once you have seen the Art House, you will understand there is nothing else quite like it on the Coast. Outside, it's quaint and unassuming appearance opens to reveal a meticulously designed and maintained home created with entertaining and enjoying the outdoors in mind. Even the artifacts in the home are unique, collected from travels over many years.
What makes this House unique
In the Art House, you will find an expansive kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The beautiful dining room table seats up to eight dinner guests under a beautiful chandelier. Though there is only one Jack-and-Jill bathroom between the two king bedrooms, it is equipped with a walk-in shower that has seating and eight jets. The Jacuzzi tub is positioned with a flat screen for hours of relaxation and entertainment. Outside, the expansive deck brings the outdoors in, with another flat screen television and outdoor lounge around a large fireplace. The patio is surrounded by seasonal flowers with a large fountain that fills the background with the sound of splashing water. It's truly a magical place.

Cool little cottage with a great outdoor area! Fireplace and pool were great! Just a quick walk to downtown. Responsive owners and clean property. The trains add to the “charm” and never came by at night until maybe 7AM. If you drink enough wine you won’t even hear it!
We had a wonderful time in Ocean Springs. The house was clean and very easy to live in, with two spacious bedrooms and an open concept kitchen and living room which opened onto an inviting outdoor space. It’s full of quirky artwork, and both bedrooms have comfortable, king -sized beds. A second bathroom would’ve been nice, but the bathroom it does have has a huge walk-in shower and a whirlpool tub, and can be accessed from both bedrooms. The owner responded immediately when we had a couple of questions. The close proximity to the train tracks may bother some, but we kind of enjoyed it, and the small town feel of Ocean Springs itself is delightful. There’s a donut shop/bakery downtown which you don’t want to miss, lots of small shops, a beautiful beach, and a cool art museum (the Walter Anderson Museum of Art). Downtown is a five minute walk. Enjoy.
Pictures don’t do this property justice. It was so beautiful and very convenient to downtown shopping and food.
Only con is the train noise. The first night 3 went by during sleeping hours but I did fall right back to sleep. The owner makes this well known in the description so we just found it to be part of the charm of the property. Loved this house!
Great home. Great stay.
The home is beautiful. The patio is perfect and the private courtyard is gorgeous. We have no complaints at all about the lovely home. Perfect place to stay while enjoying all that Ocean Springs has to offer.
Will be back!
Very cool house in an excellent location for Ocean Springs and Biloxi.
