Secluded adventure for two

This property offers seclusion in the rainforest and spectacular views. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and pool area. Very relaxing.

Great stay

We had a great family vacation. My only complaint would be they were building a new home right next to the house we stayed in and so it was very loud noises even early in the morning. We still had a great time though.

We know that that can be a little annoying, however we always ask the contractors to reduce at the minimum possible the noise and respect the agreed work schedule Now we have not constructions and the only sounds we can hear is of the nature Thank you for sharing your experience and we hope to be your host in the future Portasol team

Absolutely amazing!

One of the best vacations I’ve had. This home was secluded and quiet. The views are absolutely amazing. We enjoyed the pool the majority of the time as well as the outdoor kitchen. The beach is only about 15 mins away and was also very secluded. We are already trying to plan another trip back!!

Spectacular Views

Casa Odi-Sea was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon. The house itself was cozy but is the perfect size for a couple. The views at this location are unbeatable. You can watch the sunset from the gorgeous infinity pool while being completely surrounded by nature. The property is in a secured community with a gate that is surveilled 24/7 and the property managers are available via WhatsApp 24/7. They were so helpful our entire stay. This place truly is paradise.

Didn’t want to leave - wonderful getaway

We were rewarded for enduring the long drive from San Jose airport to Portalon with this beautiful vacation spot. Kids arrived with jaws dropped, the outdoor kitchen & dining area was spacious next to the pool. View of the ocean and watching the tropical rain squalls pass over - stunning. A perfect getaway. Kitchen stocked with ample equipment to cook, small salt shaker, no other spices. Scant containers to hold leftovers, but that was not a priority. Definitely need 4wd to get up to the house, but so worth it. WiFi was quite reliable, no issues. Matapalo beach within minutes of the house by car, everyone with Portasol super helpful & kind. Our stay exemplified “PuraVuda”. We defnitely hope to return someday!! Gracias a todos. If u stay at this spot, book zip line tour thru Portasol team with El Sanctuario - worth it.

Incredible location

We spent a week in this wonderful property, Odi-sea. If you want a quiet, secluded place with no close neighbors (human), incredible views and still close to local life and activities, this is the place. We only used the upstairs room with a super comfortable bed. Didn’t use the kitchenette. I wished they used that space to make a bigger master bedroom with a nice sitting area with those views. The outdoor kitchen is excellent with everything you need and plenty of space. The sunsets are superb and from the infinity pool with a glass(or two) of wine, the evenings were priceless. A 4x4 is a must, specially if it rains. The gravel road up to the house is steep and the short access from it to the house is even steeper. We went to the waterfall inside the property and is incredibly beautiful. We were the only ones there. Oh, and the outdoor shower in the master bedroom with those views was a dream. Overall, excellent value and we had a wonderful time there. The property managers were in close contact through whatsup and the gate keepers at the access point were super friendly. Thanks. Pura vida.

Sunset views to die for!

This house is great for a family getaway. There is one main master suite and a separate downstairs living space for young adults/kids. Not ideal for small children. The main space is outdoors with a lovely outdoor kitchen/dining area and an infinite swimming pool which was truly a highlight. The sunset views from the pool and outdoor area are likely the best I've ever seen. The lush greenery around the pool and yard is stunning. But you will have to experience a rugged ride approximately 2 km to get to this house. And you will definitely need a good 4 Wheel Drive vehicle. If you are looking for a quiet and private area with incredible views than it is worth the drive! The operators of this property, Portasol Living Management, are top notch. They have great referrals for all kinds of activities and they will take care of organizing them for you...this was so beneficial. Our family did zip lining, sport fishing, National Parks and waterfall hiking. The town of Quepos is about 35 minutes from the property. The town of Dominical, which we really enjoyed is about 30 minutes from the house and is a great surfing town with beach restaurants and markets. We hiked into the Nauyaca Waterfalls close to Dominical in the morning and then headed to the town of Dominical for lunch and a swim afterwards. The Nauyaca Waterfalls are amazing and should not be missed especially if you want to swim in a waterfall. If you are interested in a personal chef to cook for you...I recommend Desiree, who was recommended to us by Portasol Living. Desiree came to our house and cooked an amazing meal and a coconut pie that we still haven't stopped talking about! Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here with memories we will keep forever!

The pool is a high point, you will experience incredible sunsets while you enjoy of a wine cup or a relaxing moment together with your lovely ones. Entre montagne et plage très agréable

Tout en étant indépendant sans contraintes de voisinage et en pleine nature ( cuisines bien équipées, studio et chambres confortables )le service de ménage, pisciniste et le manager sont très gentils et flexibles pour nous donner un séjour très agréable. En plus le domaine est magnifique, très calme avec sa rivière et ses cascades. De la maison nous pouvons voir pleins d’animaux typiques du Costa Rica comme des toucans, paresseux, iguanes…. Et une très belle vu sur la mer. On peut également compter sur le personnel pour les conseils et les réservations des activitées et restaurants car avec whatsapp la communication est plus simple pour la traduction et ils sont très réactifs pour répondre à toutes nos demandes. Proche de très belles plages, commerces et restaurants à proximité (15/20min)
